OM SHORE LANE BEACH HOUSE ~~

Fly till den vackert dekorerade vattnet framför reträtt. Shore Lane Beach House erbjuder tre sovrum, ett och 3/4 badrum på tre nivåer på totalt 1400 kvadratfot. Alla rum (utom för ett sovrum) har fantastisk utsikt över vattnet. Håll kontakten vid behov utnyttja vår hög hastighet WiFi-anslutning.

Det är en stor uppsättning upp för vuxna och barn. Skicka barnen till nedre våningen vardagsrum att spela spel eller titta på TV på kvällen medan du njuter av utsikten och samtal på bottenvåningen. Barnen kan sova i våningssäng rum med sitt val av övre britsen, lägre våningssäng, eller rulla.

På bottenvåningen, steg utanför de franska dörrarna på täckt däck precis utanför matsal och vardagsrum. Njut av vattnet samtidigt som du laga mat i det fullt utrustade kök med lönn skåp, olja gnuggade brons hårdvara och granit med skiffer kakel.

Tvättstuga och helt nya 3/4 badrum med dusch och 4 ft granit topp fåfänga är på bottenvåningen också.

Senare dra sig tillbaka till endera av två sovrummen på andra våningen. Plocka vattnet rummet med kungen säng, kabel-TV och balkong med utsikt över bukten, eller koppla av på dubbelsäng i smakfullt inredda blå rummet.

Du hittar ett badrum med badkar / dusch, kakel badkar surround och granit bänk fåfänga på tredje våningen också.

OM VATTEN ~~

Shore Lane Beach House ligger på östra sidan av Oakland Bay (som ligger strax söder om Hood Canal). Titta över vattnet och se staden Shelton - lamporna är vackra på natten. Flanera ner några trappor till stranden som är jättekul att stranden kam som helst på året. Du ser lekfulla sälar plaskar och lax hoppar i vattnet. Vid högvatten, kan du fånga fisk utanför nedre däck eller helt enkelt kasta från land och rulle dem i! Vattnet är förvånansvärt varmt på sommaren. Du kan bada, eller bara sitta med fötterna i vattnet, ansikte i solen för en verkligt nordvästra Puget Sound erfarenhet. På vintern är det bara vackra. Du kan även kajak på lugna vatten Oakland Bay. North Bay Kajak i Allyn kommer att leverera!

ATT GÖRA ~~

Shelton och de omgivande områdena erbjuder massor att göra för alla. Täckt däck är en perfekt plats att njuta av vinter vatten - bara bunta ihop om det är kallt. Eller bygga en lägereld rätt på bakgården och njuta av utsikten. Ta en promenad upp på stranden för en timme och du kommer inte att se några hus, bara naturens. Erfarenhet fiske, djurliv, eller besöka Olympic National Rainforest Park.

Kanske du vill fånga en knäpp på drive-in biograf, prova lyckan på Shelton, ta med familjen ut för att äta, eller njuta av Kneeland Park med sin gigantiska lekplats, gräsytor och vackra picknick skydd.

Nu, om golf är ditt spel, du kommer inte bli besviken. Verkligen testa din skicklighet vid den prestigefyllda Alderbrook, Gold Mountain, eller Trophy Lake golfbanor, alla 20 till 35 miles från Shore Lane Beach House.

Waterfront retreat

Family stayed here for Thanksgiving to be near other family in the neighborhood. Home had plenty of space for family of 5. Although there was lots of outdoor space we didn't use this time of year we hope to return when the weather is more conducive.

Annual Ladies Getaway

Overall we had a great weekend! The house was cute and clean, but smaller than I had imagined. There were 7 of us and since the weather was really cold, we couldn’t really sit comfortably on the covered balcony. Thankfully we brought folding tables for sewing and puzzles. We were all able to sleep without utilizing the top bunk downstairs, but trundles are a little tricky for the person in the regular bed to get in and out of. We did enjoy the cozy setting and beautiful view, and the price was excellent. The renter was very friendly, responsive and helpful.

Shoreline Beachhouse

Pleasant peaceful neighborhood with privacy, loved having 3 different decks to view the waterfront, watched harbor seals swim by several times during our stay. The property felt very comfortable and homey, with nice personal touches like cozy blankets to wrap up in watching the evening sunset or early morning sunrise, highly recommend!

We didnt notice there wasnt a main floor bedroom. One of our group has mobility issues. Would have been excellent if there was a main floor bedroom.

Beautiful place, well managed

Our family enjoyed our stay. There is some construction next door, but very little work while we were here; that will end when it is completed. About 30 minutes from Shelton. Make sure to read the fine print (i.e. You can be charged $25 for leaving a window open or unlocked). We would come back.

ladies retreat

4 of us over 70 year olds stayed for 5 nights. only minor problems were the steepness of the stairs, bad knees made them somewhat difficult. And a card table would have been nice for the 2000 piece jig saw that ended up on the dinning room table. We loved the location and the house.

The Most Peaceful Place

We had such an amazing time at this property! It’s unbelievably beautiful with the most awesome water views and multiple deck and yard options for viewing and relaxing. We spent hours relaxing on the lower deck while our kids played on the beautiful private beach. The kitchen and house were so well stocked with everything we needed and super clean. Shelton is not too far away with a Walmart and Fred Meyer to easily stock up on anything you need for groceries. The highlight of our trip was definitely the morning that we got to see Orca whales right from the lower deck of the house - so amazing!!!

Family Getaway

We enjoyed our stay! We really enjoyed clamming and fishing. It is kind of remote, which was fine for us, but if you're looking to go out to eat or need to shop, do it before heading to the house. You will need to drive into Shelton otherwise, which isn't too far, but not just a run down the street. The views were amazing and the water was fun!

Shelton Upon Water

Super easy check in process and great communication with the rental agents. The house is as pictured. Right on the sound with amazing access to oysters and the water. We enjoyed the fire pit nightly. The kitchen and some of the amenities are slightly older but a very comfortable place to spend a few days. Amazing views.

Wonderful getaway!

This was a first outing since Covid isolation. The house was wonderful. Terrific view, very clean, well-supplied, and comfortable. We had two good outings: Harstine Island (Jarrell Cove)and Staircase Rapids Loop Trail hike. It was magnificent being in the Olympic National Park again. Thank you for making this home available.

Beautiful view of the bay.

Upon arrival house is clean and inviting. Kitchen well stocked with pans, baking dishes, gadgets, dinnerware, etc. Plenty of bathroom towels etc. Bed comfy. Owner replied quickly when contacted. Would use again in the winter. To many stairs for us to use in summer when you would want water/beach access.

Super clean and comfortable home

This home was perfect for our trip to the Pacific Northwest. This was the cleanest property we have ever visited and was exactly as described. The home was well stocked with items we would need in the kitchen and laundry, which was greatly appreciated, as we had a long flight and were in a new time zone when we finally got to the property. Our rooms were warm and cozy, and the wall heaters and extra blankets kept us comfortable as the outside temps dropped The neighborhood was totally quiet and the home was easy to access. We couldn’t recommend this home more highly.

Fall getaway

Very comfortable for 3 with each having our own bedroom. Was well stocked with linens and kitchen needs. Upstairs shower needs replacement or repair. Barely enough water comes out. There were 4 lightbulbs that need to be replaced. Overall enjoyed our stay!

Great Spring Break Getaway

We all enjoyed our stay here very much. Perfect quiet, secluded location we were hoping for. The layout of the house was perfect for us, we had 3 adults, 3 teens and a 4 year old and we all had our own space, never felt crowded. The decor was very nice and it was so refreshing waking up to the beautiful views. Kids spent endless hours on the beach and fishing from the deck when the tide came in. Enjoyed a short drive into Shelton to see a drive in movie with the kids. Overall we all had a nice, relaxing stay. Debra was very easy to work with with excellent communication and response time. Thank you!

Beautiful view

While the view was beautiful, we were very disappointed with the bunk bed location in the basement. The basement had a very funny/musty smell so the kids did not sleep there. In fact, we never went in the basement after the initial walk through due to the smell. In addition, the pots and pans need to be replaced. They are in really bad shape. And there were ants on the kitchen counter, which is not ideal for wanting to prepare meals. When we opened the dishwasher there was, again, a very bad/musty smell. I ran the dishwasher without dishes and that seemed to alleviate the odor. Overall, we would not stay here again.

Fun Multi-generational weekend by the water

The main floor is designed to face the sound with windows making up the entire wall. My family couldn't get over the view! And all the natural light! We watched 3 seals frolicking in the bay and had a campfire. The kitchen was well stocked which was great because the house is 50 minutes from a grocery store and restaurants. We fixed our meals the entire weekend, enjoying coffee and tea in the morning on the deck and a glass of wine in the evening. Staying at a house instead of a rustic cabin is a joy because the house warmed up quickly when we arrived and our group could do activities without bothering each other. One time someone stayed up late watching a movie; another time a family member visiting for an afternoon, took a baby downstairs for a quiet, quick nap. The houses on both sides were vacant for our weekend so very private and quiet. We would definitely come back! One note-the fireplace is electric. It provides heat and ambiance but the front is not hot which is a nice safety feature especially if you have little ones.

The experienced husbands remodeled it from top to bottom and the wives had a great time with the decorating. Everything is there for a memorable vacation - we invite you to enjoy it as we have.

What we enjoy most is the water view from almost every place in the house, and the beach. Cable TV and WiFi keeps you connected, while the beach provides hours of fun exploring, wading, gathering clams and oysters, or our kids' favorite activity - throwing rocks in the Sound. Of course, the nearby heated swimming pool is a HUGE hit in the summer. We love that the house is remodeled completely and decorated nicely too - you really feel like you're on vacation, with all the amenities of home. Come experience the peacefulness of Shore Lane Beach House - you'll love it!
