Denna stuga ligger på en 3 hektar skogsnödd bluff, på stenlagda vägar med gated ingång. Den har fantastisk utsikt och avskildhet. Vi är cirka 10 minuter sydväst om Harrison, Eureka Springs ligger 35 minuter bort och Branson är 30 miles norr. I söder är bara 10 minuter Compton och Ponca är 15 minuter. Så vi är mycket centralt belägna.

Kabinen har en skärmad i 14X16 veranda, täckt däck och öppet däck för att njuta av den fantastiska utsikten. Det stora sovrummet har en king size-säng, loftet har en full säng och soffan är en drottning sovande så att stuga rymmer 6. Vi har ett välfyllt kök, grill, eldgrop, tvättmaskin / torktumlare och smart tv

This was literally the perfect property. The property was well stocked with everything you could need, the AC and WiFi worked well, and the views were unbeatable. There are a couple of chairs on the "back porch" facing the amazing views, but there is also a wonderful screened in porch with several seats. Just so that people know what to expect, coming from Dallas we found this place very serene...but you can hear the engine brakes from trucks in the distance at times. We were not in the least distracted by it and nature pretty much drowned that out. But it's helpful to know what to expect. As you drive in, you will see other properties along the road, but once you pull up to the cabin you will think you are alone in the world. You can't see anything else from the cabin but the beautiful nature and the farms down below. You will not be disappointed if you choose to stay here. I only wish we could have stayed longer. This is definitely where we will stay the next time we are in the area.

Perfect for us!

Our stay was great. The house was clean, comfortable and what a great view! We really enjoyed hanging out on the screened porch. We had a great time hiking in the nearby Buffalo National River area. I highly recommend this listing.

Amazing View

This property has the most amazing Mountain View. It’s just outside of town located in a private lot with all the amenities you could need. We booked this to get some much needed peace and quiet and it was everything we expected. I will be back!

Ponca Wilderness Valentines Getaway

This rental was great. It was beautifully decorated, a great floor plan, and the view was amazing. We used it as a valentines getaway and a base for our hiking trips and it serves us well for both. The owners were also incredible, working with me to correct a scheduling error on my part and making the weekend stress free and memorable. 5 stars all the way for Gaither mountain cabin.

Awesome Place

This property was as described and very well maintained. The view off of the back porch over the city was amazing! If you are looking for relaxation and seclusion this is the place, as you can’t see or hear neighboring properties. We were able to drive to Branson, which was only about 40 minutes away. The city of Harrison also has everything you need.

Nice location. Nice view, especially if it is somewhat cloudy. Owner is prompt in communication. Plenty of sundry items. No need to run to the store every day. Will stay here again.

Views Go On For Miles

Excellent property for a couple. Perfect location to explore the Arkansas mountains and the activities of southwest Missouri. After a day exploring the area, come back to porch sit and take in the landscape. Listen to the birds welcome the day as the sun rises over the horizon. Very comfortable furniture, bed, and linens. Excellent cell service and easily access streaming services on smart television.

Beautiful cabin and spectaular view!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay even though it was short. We had had a very stressful 3 weeks before and it was SO relaxing sitting outside on the deck having wine in the evenings and our coffee in the mornings. We were able to unwind almost immediately. I would definitely recommend this place! If we am ever in this location again I will definitely return! Thank you, for your quick responses!

Without a doubt our most relaxing vacation ever.

We needed a quiet remote getaway to unwind and find ourselves again. This was exactly what we hoped for. Estee's cabin was one of the best finds we have ever stayed at. It was adorable inside, and as many stated, the pictures do not do it justice. We were blessed with the most spectacular sunrises we have ever seen on both mornings. We didn't want to leave the cabin once we arrived. Glad we brought all the groceries we needed for the weekend. We had an issue with the instructions for the wifi password and when I sent a text to Estee, she replied in minutes. Our only suggestion would be to take DVD's to watch. The wifi worked well for our computers, however the lag time was incredibly slow on streaming shows/movies on our Netflix. Luckily I had grabbed a few DVD's before we left our house. Even in the winter without leaves on the trees the mountainside was beautiful. The skyline at night was fantastic with all the city lights. I love eagles, so seeing a couple of them fly by the picture window was breathtaking. We have already booked again for October. We can't wait to see that view with the trees changing colors, and to be able to use the enclosed patios and deck.

We needed a break from life and this cabin and location was a perfect getaway. Quiet, clean, well stocked, decent internet, and views that bring peace to the soul. The screened-in sitting porch was a favorite reading spot and the beds were super comfy. It’s definitely a visit again kind of place.

Family Hiking trip

I began visiting the area in 2011. I enjoy motorcycle & ATV riding, jeeping, hiking, boating and all the other outdoor activities this area has to offer. The close proximity to my home made it ideal for quick weekend getaways.

Varför värden valde detta boende

I wanted something close to the Buffalo National Park, the river and the many scenic hikes. I wanted privacy and seclusion, something with a cozy "lost in the woods" feel, complete with a deck and a stunning view. Oh, and I needed my rustic location to have paved roads, internet and proper phone service.
Well, this cabin fit my needs perfectly!
