Amazing location!

Could not ask for a better view! Close to Lincoln City. Nice size condo but definitely needs some TLC. Very clean but desperately needs and peeling wallpapper removed in most rooms. Kitchen is well equiped, but it would be nice to know there is no Keruig just an old coffee maker. Nice big area for your dog.

Relaxing weekend

Great beach views. Awesome private balcony. Nice shower. Comfortable huge bed. Everything worked. Great for us and our dog. Loved falling asleep with the ocean sound coming through the window in the bedroom. We would totally come here again, but I value truth these reviews, so here goes... There was people hair kinda all over (in the bed sheets, on the walls, on the ceiling, somehow on a picture frame). The table surface had crumbs. The carpet had small bits of stuff sitting on top of it a vacuum could have picked up. Soap from previous renter was left on rack in shower. Honestly, this could all be cleaning crew issues. It seems like it's being updated and upgraded as some things were nice and others had yet to be gone over.

My return 10 years Later

Nice to be able to cook your meals. View the ocean from the deck. Hearing the water. Long walks on the beach just as youd expect. A functioning vaccume would be helpful. Enjoyed our trip there.

Picture perfect Ocean Views

Had a wonderful experience at this condo. Needed to get away and unwind by the ocean with my mom, sister and niece. Plenty of space for all. Loved the deck as you could just sit and watch the waves for hours. Also loved all the windows as it rained 3 of the 4 days we were there but we were able to see the ocean and enjoy a fire in fireplace during the storm. Vacasa was great for making it easy to check in and out via text . They even let us know we could check in a little early since the condo was ready sooner. The only thing that would have been better would be able to use the TV in the master bedroom. All in all a nice place to spend time on the Oregon Coast. Can’t wait to go again!

Condo needs improvements

Parts of condo in disrepair & falling apart. For how much they charge there was no working tv in master bedroom. Why even have a tv in master bedroom if it doesn’t work?! Whoever owns condo needs to put some money into maintenance & amenities.

Unbeatable Location, View

The first thing that hits you when you open the door for the first time, is the ocean. It is right there in your face and so close! The view, the smell of the ocean, the sound of the waves are so profound and exhilarating. The accommodations are ample. If you are looking for high-end luxury, its not. This is adequate comfort in a condo that could use much TLC. From minor cracks here and there, wallpaper corners pealing up, nail/screw holes in places, towel bars that are barely hanging on, window screen in need of repair, no screens on doors (so uninvited flies do visit), an occasional ant, it's not fancy. But its still comfortable, quiet, and that gorgeous view and ocean experience is everything! I will be back again and again!

Great view, but needs some TLC

We love this space and have already booked for next year, but it definitely needs updates. The oven settings are hard to read and the temperature is off. There are some tears in the furniture, which needs some updating. We love our tradition at Pacific Sands, but would love some updating for the cost.

Don’t bother

Don’t be fooled into thinking any previous reviews have caused any updates on this property. The fans have dust and rust and you can’t use them, the blue couch is a safety hazard, if sit down like you normally would you hit a bar in the back. It should be thrown out. Bring your own linens if you do brave it, the linens are gross and all the blankets have rips. The tv in the king bedroom is pointless, it’s not connected to cable and it’s not a smart tv. This place is such a great location it’s really too bad the owners don’t care to do proper upkeep.

I will not leave a review here, I don't want to leave something so negative on a public forum. But this unit should probably be removed from the rental pool until it has been gutted and redone. At a minimum there should be a statement letting people know that this unit is in need of major repairs.

Beautiful view, needs some work

The view makes this place. However, this is my 4th visit in about 8 years and little has been updated. Sorely in need of touch up painting, and peeling wallpaper. I know this is pet friendly but it needs help.

Great Location. Needs major repairs.

Been staying here for years and love the place. But this year went beyond being outdated and worn. The pet urine smell was overpowering. The disgusting condition of the carpet hindered our ability to enjoy this trip.

not my favorite Pacific sands stay

The unit #22 is disappointment compared with our previous visits. This unit is in disrepair. The carpet is in desperate need of being pulled, at least a professional level of cleaning is way overdue. Upon opening the door we quickly scurried to open windows and doors to create a breeze and add fresh air. The kitchen is disorganized and frustrating to try and use. The couches would not be used in a bad adult film. Glad we had good weather to escape this place. When we responded to a text asking how it looked, we were asked to take pictures and respond with descriptions of the disarray, sorry I'm on vacation, maybe the company can have a check-in service to quality check their cleanings and not use the customers as free labor.

Deep Clean Needed

Exhaust fans in bathrooms are awful dirty. Kitchen cabinet doors, electronic equipment cords, stand alone fan, all horribly dirty. Where is the screen door for deck?? Take out carpet and put in flooring. The place has a beautiful view, why not spend a bit keep it up so you feel more comfortable??

Please fix up this condo.

The only positive thing about this condo is that it is on the beach and has a great view. We were severely disappointed in the condition of the condo. There is a lot of work that needs to be done to bring it up to date. The carpet has stains on it. There was peeling sheetrock, wall paper peeling off, the trim needs to be painted throughout, the dishwasher while it works, has duct tape holding it in place. Closet doors came off the track. The bathroom had peeling wallpaper, and a clock in the shower (?). The tv has a green line on the bottom one third of the screen when turned on. There was a rusted fan in the master bedroom. The sheets are thin. The leather furniture was cracked, and the pillows stained. There was a chair with a large cut on the cushion, and another chair with a torn lattice. On the deck there was a rusted lounge chair that looked as though it would collapse if someone sat in it. The deck itself sags down so when you walk out it feels like you could tip over. With a complete paint and repair this condo would be worth the money that we spent on it. Right now I would have to say rent a different unit.

Great location, very run down

Great location and ocean view. The place looks like a rental where the only goal is to get rental income and avoid any expenses for upkeep. Appreciate that dogs are allowed, but carpet had many bid stains. Teplacing carpets with new flooring would make it much nicer. The rest of the place is severely worn, furniture, fixtures cabinetry and the like.

Meh - just your run-of-the-mill gorgeous ocean view

Neskowin is a flyspeck of a location with just one small store and one or two small restaurants. But if you are willing to pack your own food in (full kitchen), this unit will provide round-the-clock beauty and the melodic sounds of crashing waves.
