Om boendet

Vi kännetecknar vår egendom som en bondgård på sjön. Det finns tre egenskaper; vårt bondgård, ett litet hus och det grå huset. Vi har friluftshönor, två ankor, två kaniner och bin på vår 60 hektar stora fastighet. Vi lämnar gården färska ägg för våra gäster och hoppas att ge honung från våra egna bin, som finns. Vi erbjuder även kajak / kanotuthyrning med ett undertecknat undantag. $ 20 halv dag och $ 30 hel dag. Brandved till salu också.

Tillbringa din semester med naturen. Gå till sjön, resa 1. 5 miles till båt ramp och state park, ta en solnedgång kajak resa på sjön, kolla kolibrier och hjort från din veranda, fisk, grillade pylsar och s'mores, gå över dammen och mycket mer. Lätt spår till sjön med avskild simning, fiske eller bara ta utsikten.

Labor Day Retreat!

This property is exceptional, clean, well stocked (minus a coffee pot & hot tub). It was a great place for peace & serentiy. Beautiful views all around.but the driveway is STEEP! 4WD a must!!

Refreshing weekend retreat

Great getaway

Arrived at the house and it was everything that the pictures showed and more. It was extremely clean and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to prepare land cook our meals. It was a great get away for us .

Relaxing Getaway

Perfect little getaway

The house was just lovely and spacious. Well stocked and everything we needed. Quiet are and gracious hosts! We’ll definitely be back! Just a heads up, we were glad we drove our SUV, the driveway was a bit steep and may be a challenge for a smaller car.

A great place to stay

We needed a quick getaway and this was a perfect place! So clean and cozy! Some of the animals are not there but fed the guineas and saw deer several times. The lake was not far and ask about their kayaks! So quiet and relaxing! Great hosts!

Perfect Family Vacation at the Gray House on the Lake!

Wonderful house and highly recommend for a family vacation at the Lake! Clean, awesome amenities, open plan layout great for entertaining, beautiful decor just like the pictures. Host very friendly, accommodating and returned calls promptly. Loved the property, the daily guineas and deer sightings. Our stay was perfect in every way. We will be back!

We fell into this business and have enjoyed every minute of it. We really like meeting our guests and getting to know their families. We welcome many of our families back for multiple stays. We enjoy providing them with surrounding activities. Some just like to explore our property.

Varför värden valde detta boende

Our 60 acre property (Gray House Farm, LLC), with 4 lake cabin rentals and an event center, is completely peaceful and we are so excited to be able to share it with others. We like to call it our little homestead on the lake. Collect your own fresh eggs, when available, from our very own free range chickens. We currently have 1 rooster and 8 laying hens.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

The area is 30 minutes to Tahlequah and 30 minutes to Muskogee. There are several things to do around the lake. Our favorite hangout spot is a short boat ride to Cypress Cove. They have live music, heated fishing dock, food for the catfish and ducks, and excellent food and spirits. We are sometimes available to water taxi.

There is also Sequoyah State Park. It’s a 20 minute drive or short scenic kayak trip. They have golf, horse back riding, hiking and biking trails, boating and fishing, as well as a nature center with a bald eagle, owl and other wildlife. Catch them at the right time for animal feeding.

Other ideas:
-Pontoon boats for rent at Paradise Cove.
-Whitehorn Cove has a restaurant on the water.
-Tahlequah has an awesome Cherokee Museum and village.
-Wagoner (10 miles) has a yoga barn and rope course and lots of antique stores.
-Hulbert (5 miles) has a splash park for the kiddos.
-Wildwood State Park 2 miles away with boat ramp, swim deck, camp grounds with showers.
-15 minutes to scenic Fort Gibson, oldest town in Oklahoma.
