Vårt nybyggda hus är fullt möblerat med alla bekvämligheter i hemmet. Perfekt för affärsmän och resenärer som letar efter ett alternativ till hotell / motell scen. Allt du behöver är dina personliga föremål och ett par matvaror! Mindre än 100 'från en 2 hektar damm fylld med stor bas, havskatt och bluegill. Beläget i ett område som är starkt befolket med Amish. Rymligt utomhus picknickområde med eldgrop, gungor och hästskor.

Bekvämt beläget mellan Bowling Green, Mammoth Cave och Barren River Lake. (ca 20-30 minuter från vardera)

Nice relaxing place if you go to fish there is only Bass and blue Gill biggest one's we caught was about 4 inches but was late in the season and had a cold front coming through very windy

We had an awesome stay! The cabin was perfect—clean, cozy, and well-kept. The host was fantastic and made us feel right at home. The location was peaceful and beautiful, with a nice pond that added to the charm. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a relaxing getaway!

Cabin was very clean and had all the kitchen necessities. Pond was adorable, although the fish were not biting. A little far for activities at Mammoth Cave. The full bed was very noisy and there was quite a bit of road noise. Overall a very nice stay, very easy to find and check in process couldn't have been simpler.

Wonderful Getaway, Fabulous Hosts

I was in the area trailering a car for an event. Plenty of room to maneuver the rig and host was kind enough to offer to let me put the car in the barn as bad weather was coming through. Quiet and relaxing, beautiful area. Thoroughly enjoyed my short stay and would stay again.

Cozy cottage

This place was great for my family. My daughters loved the playground area and my wife and I loved being away from the busy tourist areas. Would definitely stay again if ever back in the area.

This was literally the absolute cleanest VRBO or other rental I have ever been in!!! Spotless!!!! It was also cozy, quiet, and had all the touches of home! The car port was lovely to use when it was raining to load and unload vehicles. Generous amount of parking meant our truck and car trailer and other car all had ample room. The views were so peaceful, a great way to wake up! I cant say enough wonderful things, this is an amazing space!

Country Cabin

Great little place to stay at if you’re in the Mammoth Cave area. Close to the National Park, quiet location, and sitting out on the back deck in the evening while looking at the pond was a relaxing way to wind out the day.

Enjoyable stay

We enjoyed our stay at the cozy cabin. The kids loved running aroubd outside andvthe adults liked the view. Kitchen hadveverything we needed to prepare our own meals.

The Coziest Cabin!

This cabin is the most perfect quaint getaway cabin. Everything about it was perfect. Incredibly clean, so comfortable and just what my husband and I wanted! You cannot go wrong staying in this cabin.

Exactly what we were looking for

The cabin is nice, clean, well stocked for cooking, and has ample bedding, towels, etc. We enjoyed fishing in the pond and using the outdoor fire pit. The hosts were very accomodating and welcoming, but never intrusive.

AMAZING

The whole experience was magical, something that cannot be reproduced without the assistance of the LORD almighty. The owner are wonderful people and the set and scenery was something out of a fairytale. If you're looking for a budget friendly magical get away, this is it!

Perfect Get-a-way

Me and my wife stayed here to celebrate our 14th anniversary. We wanted a quiet, peaceful place to stay. This place could not have been more perfect. It had everything we needed. We will definitely be coming back. We loved the property and the people. From the fire pit to fishing to cuddling and watching t.v. This place was amazing.

So peaceful!

The cabin is so cozy! Clean and well equipped. Beautiful pond. Had a small maintenance issue and the hosts were quick to respond . We will definitely book again when we are visiting the area.

Beautiful place

We only stayed a short time but I wish we stayed longer!! This place is amazing! I loved sitting on the patio looking at the pond and watching the Amish go by and my kids asking so many questions!! We came for the caves but will have to book another time to fish at the pond and explore the area more. Lots of great places to eat as well!! Thank you for sharing your little piece of Gods area with us!!

Blissfully peaceful

My family loved our stay in Cozy Cabin. The owners were very easy to communicate with and quickly responded to our questions. The kids immediately threw their lines into the pond and began catching fish. We also loved the swings and fire pit area. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of space for all of us. I would highly recommend staying here to experience a simple & relaxing vacation.

My 2nd time

This was my 2nd time staying this year alone and I’m already planning my 3rd trip back before the end of the year! This is one of my favorite places! And I catch a dog load of fish! 19 bass in one day!!

Cozy Cabin

A very new cozy cabin with a pond to fish at . A nice equipped kitchen with a living area that has a sleep sofa . The bedroom had 1 queen size bed and 2 single beds . A laundry is available and a very nice bathroom with shower/tub. The hosts are very accommodating and friendly. Thank you for a great place to relax after hiking and touring the Mammoth Cave area.

Cozy Home Away From Home

The hosts were absolutely wonderful and accommodating. We had a stressful and fun time while in Kentucky. My family and I were part of a wedding party that was held at Lost River Cave (I believe is the correct name). We had fun, but there was a lot of stress to it as well. It was nice to have an escape cabin where everything was less busy and much more quiet. The views were gorgeous! And we enjoyed listening to the sound of the horse hooves every time we sat out on thr porch. We hope to visit again one day for a vacation spot.

We're the proverbial "Odd Couple". He's retired, Vietnam Veteran, ex cowboy, bass fisherman that always needs to be doing something and I work full time in the corporate world and like to relax by being a farmHER.

Varför värden valde detta boende

When we bought this property it was an overgrown, tangled piece of swamp land that just needed to be brought back to life. We spent 3 years turning it into something next to Heaven on Earth and believe that it can bring a little bit of peace and Heaven to your time away from home.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

This is the house that love built. It will be our only home when we are too old and tired to take care of the big house and farm. Sitting in the rocking chair, looking out at the pond brings inner peace at the end of a long day. It is big enough and yet small enough that you don't get lost in it.
