Mitt hem är 1/4 utanför M25 på en bluff i ett skogsområde med utsikt över Lake Huron. Den orörda strandlinjen erbjuder möjlighet att vandra och utforska naturen. Man kunde gå omkring en mil längs stranden i vardera riktningen och inte se någon annan person. Hjort finns i överflöd, fåglar väcker dig på morgonen, och den skalliga örnen håller vakten över stranden. Endast veckohyra (lördag till lördag) under sommarmånaderna. Långa helger eller veckohyra på våren och hösten.

Aktiviteter och rekreation: Hantverksshower och vattensporter finns i överflöd under sommarmånaderna. Can-Am Watercraft Races och spektakulära fyrverkerier längs stranden är aktiviteter i början av juli. Se segelbåtarna springa över horisonten och gå vidare till Mackinaw under Port Huron / Mackinaw-tävlingarna. Gillar antikviteter? Tummen håller dig upptagen. Båtlanseringar, fiske och sandstränder ligger några mil bort. En mängd offentliga golfbanor ligger inom en mil av radie. Upplev en "blast från det förflutna" på en inkörteatern eller den nyrenoverade teatern i Harbour Beach eller upplev levande musik och spel i närliggande städer. Den orörda strandlinjen erbjuder också möjlighet att vandra och utforska naturen.

Wonderful

We enjoyed our stay So much. The house had everything we needed, from the kitchen to the bathroom, bedrooms and garage! My kids ages 9-15 and my elderly parents, we all enjoyed a relaxing vacation. We had the waterfront to ourselves and enjoyed exploring the rocky shores. We immediately felt right at home. Thank you Lois for sharing it with us. Of all the places we have ever stayed- this is my favorite.

Quiet, remote and amazing!

If you are looking for a quiet, low key vacation spot, this is for you! The house had everything we needed. It was huge with enough space for everyone to stretch out. The beach access was easy to walk down and it was relaxing to just listen to the water. We saw bunnies in yard and hummingbirds at the feeder! She has fun outdoor games in the garage that are perfect for quiet evenings. Check out the local coffee shops and restaurants. The locals are very friendly! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us!

Love it here!

As always, we had a very nice stay, although our week turned into 2 1/2 days as our little dog tore her acl. This place is a gem.. I hope that it always stays wild and free. We intend on returning seasonally as long as Lois shares her lovely place with the rest of us.

Great getaway on the beach!

Loved the place and all of the space on Lake Huron - a great way to celebrate in the new year with some friends :) (FYI if you are traveling with other adults, note that there are plenty of places to sleep but really only two bedrooms. The owner does a great job of separating the beds in the upstairs to more private areas but it's all one big room!).

Comfort and Peace By the Water

The vacation home was impeccably clean and the grounds were beautiful. Breezes from the lake and the sounds of waves washing the sandy beach were our constant companions during our stay. A perfect getaway!

We had such a great time at this warm and comfortable home. It is well equipped and laid out just right for a weekend of food, friends, and games! My only note is that there are lots of beds but actually only two bedrooms. The queen bed is tucked around a corner but it is still in the common sleeping area with the twin beds.

We'd stay here again

We loved it here, it was a perfect place to relax and unwind. The house is comfortable and immaculately clean. Morning walks on the beach followed by lazy afternoons sitting on the porch watching the lake, if only real life was like that every day. The yard is beautiful! There are hummingbirds, blooming flowers, deer, and bunnies. Definitely bring water shoes you're going to want to explore the beach. The only downside I see to this place is that vacation ends and you have to leave. We hope to stay here again. Thank you, Lois!

Beautiful hidden cabin steps from the water

We came to this area to see what it had to offer. My family and I had a great time; the weather wasn't warm enough to try swimming, but we all love fossil and rock hunting, and this beach was perfect for that! The house was huge with a classic farmhouse layout! So home-y, a true dream vacation home with lots of room for the family. We have 2 young kids, 10 yrs and 7 yrs, and they LOVED getting to pick from all of the beds. Everything was clean, the yard was beautifully maintained, and we saw lots of animals come through to visit. Not a ton to do in the town itself, but there were lots of beaches to check out nearby, as well as the one right down the steps of the cabin's property, which was exactly what we were looking for. Everything was a described, I can definitely recommend a visit to others.

Even better than expected...

My family absolutely LOVED this home. Everything about it was perfection! The property is very private and the beach area made us feel like the only people in the world. The home has a fantastic open floor plan with views of the water. The jacuzzi tub was a hit! Large kitchen, comfy living room, two large bathrooms. Note that there is really the master suite and then a large sleeping loft upstairs, not 3 bedrooms as the listing mentions. However, there is an abundance of sleeping options so this was not a problem at all. We greatly enjoyed spending time here together. Pictures do not do this home justice. We look forward to returning during the warmer months!
