Great views and a great location close to the Blue Ridge Parkway. Host’s communication was quick, and she accommodated our last minute booking. The floors were dirty upon arrival, but everything else felt clean and comfortable.

Great getaway

Louedith made check-in super easy even though we were late from traffic. Beautiful property and mountain views, super well maintained. Our group of 4 was very happy here! Would definitely recommend these hosts if you're ever in the Asheville area!

Great Weekend Getaway

What a great experience we had staying at The Farmhouse! Louedith was a great host, welcomed us right away and made us feel right at home. The house and really entire property were kept very neat. We absolutely loved the barn that is set up as a place to hang out, play games and relax. We will definitely book this place for any future visits we make to the Candler/Asheville area!

Lovely peaceful stay

The house was very nice with beautiful seating and views both front porch and back porch. Also beautiful greens to laze on...we watched a meteor shower while we were there. Nice and clean with all the amenities. Kids were a bit disappointed with the missing hammock on the porch but we found it in the lovely barn.

Adequate for our needs

We didn't have good weather so we were at the property most of the time. To say this house has mountain views is a stretch. It's hilly but not mountainous. We had ants in around the table also.

Very clean and a great stay!

The farmhouse is a super clean and very comfortable place to stay near Asheville. We enjoyed our stay and have no complaints at all. Louedith was very responsive with super quick communication. Beds were very comfortable (though I know that’s a personal preference item). Lots of outdoor space with the porch and back deck. She does have an RV space that’s right by the house but we never heard or saw them so while I didn’t realize it was there when I booked, it had zero effect on the enjoyment of our stay. There’s a privacy fence that separates the two.

Girlfriends Getaway near Asheville

The Farmhouse was truly amazing in every way. From the panoramic views, to the cleanliness, and the amenities in the kitchen, it was very accommodating for our group. But addition to the Farmhouse, the "Barn" was such a relaxing place to hangout and enjoy good conversation with friends. If we had just one recommendation, it would be to replace the trundle in one of the bedrooms with another full size bed, 2 regular twin beds or a queen. Otherwise, we found it extremely comfortable and homelike. Thank you for sharing this beautiful location!

Our stay was perfect. The location was away from heavy traffic and noise. The home was so clean and so nicely decorated. The beds and bedding were so comfortable. The porches (both front and back) provided ample seating and beautiful scenery. Everything you could possibly need in a home was provided. Our host responded quickly to any questions we had. The barn next door was a fun photo op for my friends and me. We highly recommend this home for a VRBO rental. Thank you for this wonderful stay celebrating my 70th birthday and 50th wedding anniversary! Memories made forever.

This property was more beautiful than the photos and the views from the property were amazing to say the least. Our nice stay at the Farmhouse

We went for a weekend to visit family nearby and to escape the heat and humidity of July for the cooler mountain air. We liked staying at the Farmhouse very much. My family thought the decor had a comfy, homelike feel. The mountain scenery was lovely, with beautiful views from the front window as well as on the back deck of the house. My little granddaughter loved exploring the barn and swinging in the swing. Also, the neighborhood was quiet and peaceful with a lovely road for walking. We very much hope to visit this place again sometime in the future.

Biltmore Visit

Very clean and comfortable house. Rooms were light and airy the mattresses were great. Large front and back porches with Mountain views. Regret I didn’t plan a longer visit. Hope I can return again!

I grew up on the property where the Farmhouse is located. In fact, the Farmhouse was my childhood home. After graduating high school I moved away, enjoyed a career in banking and raised my family. When I retired, my husband and I moved back to another home close by and less than a year later were able to purchase the property where the Farmhouse is located.

The Farmhouse was my childhood home. After retiring, and moving back to another home on the family property my husband and I were fortunate enough to acquire the property where the Farmhouse is located. We decided to offer the Farmhouse for guests to enjoy. Sadly, my husband passed away about a year later and now I am fortunate to have my son, Todd, helping me part time. We continue to make improvements to the property, adding interesting outdoor activities along the way.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

You will definitely enjoy the spectacular views of the Blue Ridge Mountains from the swing and rocking chairs on the front porch as well as the spacious back deck. It is a common occurrence to see deer roaming the property. And as many as 7 hot air balloons have been seen in the air at one time. There is lots of space to roam outdoors and the recently restored barn loft is calling for relaxation and enjoyment. Horse shoe pits are available for your enjoyment and later in the evening there is ample space around the firepit for star gazing while enjoying the fire.
