River Rest Cabin är en 2 hektar flodfastighet omgiven av en 50 + hektar stor bondgård i hjärtat av Great Smoky Mountains (NEJ NEIGHBORS!). Fiske och vatten rekreations paradis! Ha integritet och avskildhet medan du är bekväm att Gatlinburg, Pigeon, Forge och Sevierville! Njut av en ULTRA privat men ändå tillgängligt året runt stuga med 2 sovrum (king size-sängar - ett på huvudnivå och det andra i loft sovrummet på övervåningen) + drottning bäddsoffa i vardagsrummet + 2 fulla badrum belägen på västra utkanten av Little Pigeon River i de rökiga bergen. Denna nyrenoverade, lyxiga stuga är omgiven av 50 + hektar gårdsmark där du kan se ut något fönster för att se floden, naturen, gården och det lokala vilda djur som rådjur och svarta björnar! Fiska av din bakre veranda! Nedför vägen från där Dolly Parton växte upp och mitt i allt mellan Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge och Sevierville (Pittman Center-området) var stugan kärleksfullt byggd av den tidigare ägarens far. Det restaurerades och renoverades också kärleksfullt i början av 2019 i tre månader.

Med enkel tillgång året runt (även på vintern) kommer du att vara nära allt! Vandring, fiske, slangar, sightseeing, forsränning, simning, shopping, snöskidåkning / skridskoåkning, Dollywood, promenader i centrum av Gatlinburg och Great Smoky Mountains National Park Greenbrier Entrance ligger alla i närheten. Njut av total integritet, bekvämligheten med dess centrala läge och den majestätiska Little Pigeon River!

Perfekt för en smekmånad, familjesemester, jubileum / födelsedag, äventyrsresa eller bara en lugn flykt. Best River Cabin

The cabin and view were gorgeous! The property was lovely. During our stay we had a great time in the river kayaking and tubing. We then got in the hot tub which was also amazing! The drive to the cabin was pleasant and it was easy to access. We were also able to cook while we were there and the hosts had all the utensils needed. Overall this was one of the best cabins we have stayed at. We will definitely be coming back!

Great get away

We loved our stay at River rest cabin. The property was beautiful-well maintained grounds, pretty garden, River was crystal clear and the house had everything you could need. Cabin was very inviting and clean.

Good times on the river

Five family members of three generations met for a week of vacation at this beautiful spot. It was just what we needed...lots of natural light, decks and chairs overlooking the shady river and super-comfortable beds to end the day.

Riverfront Cabin

A fantastic upgraded cabin located along the river in the Great Smoky Mountains with wonderful amenities such as horse shoes, corn hole, fire pit, kayaks, beautiful porch, and a spacious well kept property. A perfect combination for a wonderful time for the entire family!

Perfect Vacation

Beautiful cabin, absolutely perfect for a quiet relaxing stay on the river. The amenities and thoughtful touches both inside and out, make this beautiful place a class above everywhere else we have stayed in the area. Simply Delightful!

We had a very comfortable stay at River Rest. Very clean, updated, well stocked with all the essentials as well as many thoughtful and unexpected extra touches such as a white noise machine for sleeping, gas fireplace, TV's in all the rooms, an alarm system, extra pillows, etc. The property's host was absolutely wonderful and responsive to our needs. Would stay at River Rest again!

Great time!

Hosts were amazing. They literally had everything you could need for a vacation. It was great not to have to pack extra stuff. The house was very clean and the river provided a lot of fun do our family. Communication from the host was very prompt. Overall great property and wonderful hosts!!

River Rest Cabin Lives Up To It's Name

So happy we chose this location for our annual vacation. It was not only serene but rejuvenating at the end of a day exploring the Smokies. It's the first vacation we ever came back from feeling rested, and much of that was to do with the cabin. You can tell Caroline put a lot of thought into the choice of amenities for sleeping, bathing, cooking, and lounging. And the location is perfect for feeling like you are away from it all while being a short distance from anything you would need. We would not hesitate to stay there again on a future trip.

Wonderful getaway

This was our first vacation in the last two years, and it was one of our most stress free trips. Our hosts provided us with all of the information we needed prior to our arrival so we could maximize our time once we arrived. Our kids (3 & 5) are still talking about the cows, catching a fish, and floating in the river!

An amazing time of relaxation

This was our second visit to this amazing cabin and neither time has disappointed. We enjoyed fishing and wading in the river behind the cabin. We utilizing the supplied kayaks to teach our teenagers how to use them in the calm waters. We enjoyed family time each evening by the fire pit. Thank you!

Excellent and best ever!!

Caroline is amazing and helpful. The cabin is so relaxing yet only about 8miles from any activities. It’s a luxurious cabin with amazing beds, towels, appliances and all. Felt like a spa resort but with the love of the river and privacy. We enjoyed the quite and swimming was refreshing but cold! The cabin was also extremely clean. We can’t wait to come back again!!

Amazing Property

The cabin was everything we expected and more. The house was clean, updated, and beautiful. The outside is just as nice. Very quiet and every detail was taken into consideration. we have stayed at many houses and the level of detail and effort to make us feel at home were unmatched. Perfect.

Emaculate cabin

This cabin had everything you could possibly imagine, very clean and furnished with the best of everything..enjoyed tubing in the river, the geese visiting us every morning and rocking on the deck in the evenings. Conveniently located to Pigeon forge and Gatlinburg. Caroline was awesome, we felt like we had a new friend. We could not ask for anymore. We definitely would like to visit again. Thank you for a wonderful vacation.

Simply the Best!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cabin was perfect In every way from the well-appointed kitchen to the cozy living spaces. There is something magical about being surrounded by mountains and a river in your backyard. Caroline is exceptional! She did everything to make our trip delightful from sending Thanksgiving tips ahead of our trip to day trip recommendations. We will always cherish our memories at River Rest and look forward to our return.

Clean and peaceful

The owner is phenomenal. She sent us details and instructions on time without having to ask. The cabin was beautifully decorated and super clean/organized. All the details were well thought out. The setting is amazing. We had an absolutely blast. You can’t go wrong here. It’s more secluded and nicer than anything in the area.

Peaceful getaway

We really enjoyed our stay. Peaceful and relaxing. Everything was clean. Fire pit was perfect for making s’mores. Deck over the river was very nice, my wife read on the deck while I fished. The owners went above and beyond, even delivering a tea kettle so my wife could enjoy her tea. The kitchen is a little tight for two people cooking, but it’s a getaway cabin and that’s fine. Highly recommend staying here, off the beaten path and away from the crowds.

Finally!!

Finally! Something advertised on-line lived up to its pictures and description. This cabin is awesome and in a great location. It was exactly what we were looking for. Peaceful and private. My kids had a blast. The house is well appointed and furnished. The deck and river provided for some great relaxing! These owners have done a tremendous job! We can’t wait to go back!!

I was born and raised in Gatlinburg, and I spent my entire childhood growing up in the Smokies. I moved to Texas in 2015 when I got married to my husband, Clay. We had our daughter in 2018, and I wanted to have a place that we could call home when we visited. We bought River Rest Cabin and its 2 acres in the fall of 2018, and it was the perfect cure for my homesickness! In 2020, we decided to move to the Smoky Mountains and call Gatlinburg home. The cabin is a very special place where I hope my guests enjoy nature, have fun year-round, experience mountain hospitality, and explore all the beauty surrounding my hometown. It's true what they say... the mountains are calling!

I've driven by this property a million times growing up, but when we found it was secretly coming for sale, we flew up to buy it the next day! It's such a rare cabin surrounded by farm land and located on a pristine piece of property on the Little Pigeon River right on the edge of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Famous for its trout fishing and gentle flowing waters, the Little Pigeon River is our HAPPY PLACE. I want to share the cabin with you and yours so that you can experience why our family and guests find it so special!
