Att vara i hjärtat av Amish County och ändå bara 1/2 timmar bort från Berlin eller Fotbolls Hall of Fame, erbjuder många alternativ för din vistelse. Detta hem är inrett för att hedra våra föräldrar som gjorde Quilts. Det finns också en fotovägg med rekvisita för att ta roliga bilder. We go to Ohio regularly to visit our friends. I always love to see the quilters cottage open. One of my favorites.

Quiet Homey Retreat

We enjoyed a quiet family Thanksgiving get away. The home was spacious, comfortable and clean. The kitchen was well equipped for preparing the Turkey and fixings.

Ohio wedding weekend

We really enjoyed our stay at the Kidron Quilters Home. It was a quieter setting than the tourist area around Berlin and we saw a lot of Amish as we visited local sites. The drive to do things in Berlin area was beautiful and the home was very comfortable and nicely furnished.

Comfort in Amish country

This property was lovely, very clean and bigger than I expected. It was the little touches that were the best part though; a welcome sign with our names on it, fresh cookies, snacks just for us and a coffee/tea station.

Great Home

We were very lucky to be able to spend the weekend here. Everything was clean and welcoming. The little touches, from the chocolate chip cookies to labeling the kitchen faucet, were very appreciated.

Another Awesome Stay

We are returning guests and this is our 4th or 5th stay (can't quite remember how may) at the Kidron Quilters Home. We had another awesome time in Amish country and the home was wonderful as usual. Sherri is such a fantastic host and makes us feel so very welcome for every stay. The cookies are fantastic and the snacks she leaves are great as well. Can't wait for our next trip.

Weekend Trip

There was two couples in our group. It was the first time for the guys to be joining us to the Amish Country This place was just the right place for us. Quiet neighborhood, very clean and cheery place. Came back after long day of shopping and enjoyed our downtime eating and playing cards. Would recommend to any anyone and would stay here again.

Wonderful Stay

The house was just awesome and the Sherri’s personal welcome made us feel at home instantly. The home was everything it was advertised to be. Visit with family friends

We came up to visit with some Amish family friends we have gotten to know over the last several years. Always a good time. This home was perfect for our family, very clean, and close to all the things you want and need to experience in Amish country. The host thought of everything and made us feel right at home with all the snacks and fresh baked cookies. We will definitely book this home again in the future.

Great Place to Stay!

This was a great place to stay. Very welcoming to our family! Nice comfortable beds, great towels and lots of throws. Kitchen is great for cooking meals- great yard - nice garage to park inside. No complaints! Everything was very clean, close to all the Amish country fun. Great place to eat and shop just 0.4 mile down the road. Hope to get back soon! Thanks for sharing your place with us!

Immaculate Home in Beautiful Setting

This is our second stay at this property and we would return again. This property is in a good location to do sightseeing in the area. It is a short drive from Wooster, Canton, and the various Amish towns. The home is well kept and clean. The host leaves homemade cookies, snacks and bottled water for guests. The kitchen is well stocked. We did not want for anything. Hands down, a 5 star property with a great host!

Just Perfect

We just loved our time at the #kidronquiltershome! This place was perfect for our girls getaway….It is equipped with everything you could possibly need in a home away from home. The location is perfect…close enough to all the major attractions, but situated in the heart of the Amish community…. The setting is perfect for peace and quiet…. It was fun to watch the buggies and bicycles go by! We loved Sharon’s attention to details and personal touch, which made us feel so welcomed in her home. IT'S A 10!!!!!!!!!

Never in our over 20 years of staying at Home way properties have we stayed in a more thoughtfully presented home. You want for NOTHING. The only item missing is someone to cook your meals. Sherri has made sure that all your wants and needs are met so all one has to do id enjoy her home and the surrounding area. The home is exceptionally clean, the beds are very comfortable, the kitchen has everything one could possibly need, and the area is "almost" too quiet. It is an exceptional home which will greatly enhance your visit to Kidron and the surrounding countryside.

Cozy, Immaculate Retreat in Amish Country

This vacation rental was everything that it was billed to be. It is well maintained and immaculate. The furniture is like new. The living room sofa and chair are very comfortable. The kitchen and dining area are very large and well appointed. No need to worry about bringing spices if you want to cook, they are all there. The small deck in the back is perfect for relaxing after breakfast or dinner. The owners are very responsive and take great pride in their property. As for the location, it was perfect. We could walk to town. There are a few eateries and a market, but everything closes by 8 p.m. The property is close to Wooster and Canton where restaurants stay open later. We loved being in the heart of Amish country and seeing the horse and buggies pass by on a regular basis. We would return to this property again when in the area.

Peaceful, Quiet, Clean, Comfortable, Excellent

There are not enough words in the dictionary to describe the exceptional quality of this property. The hostess is a joy & pleasure to work with; the property is excellent. We travel frequently to the area and enjoy staying in different places. We do business with many local farms & businesses thus we like a good location for convenience-Kidron is in the midst of all the best of the area.The ability to rest in a quiet area is rare these days yet this property has just that-quiet, calm, relaxing, refreshing, etc. We try to avoid hotels or properties with multiple renters because we cannot tolerate the smoking and the partying - we were able to sit outside on the back deck, enjoying the evening, the morning, and while breathing in fresh air!! The beds were comfortable, the linens were superb, the towels were soft & fluffy, the water was hot, the A/C was cool, the kitchen was well stocked & quality appointed, the living room was comfortable & pleasing to the eye, and the entire house was spacious & spotless. The use of the garage was a great benefit as we picked up vegetables, fruits, meats, etc. & loaded our small trailer for our winter stock-up expedition that supplies 3 families.This is a great location for fresh vegetable & fruit purchases, eggs, and cottage goods from the local farms while also being near multiple cheese houses and thrift stores.Kidron is less touristy than many areas.We are already planning a return visit in October with this property due to the high qualty

Visiting Amish country

Always awesome. The house is located perfectly in Amish country very very close to my Amish friends. It always has everything we need and I love love love the fresh cookies.

I'm a retired caterer, married to, Bruce, a hard working, salesman. We enjoy motorcycling, grandchildren, gardening, traveling and our church family. I love the hospitality business and helping guests have a great experience, is my goal.

Varför värden valde detta boende

This is a family built home. Bruce and his sister, Aggie, helped their parents build this duplex in 1980. We currently own and maintain the property, having totally renovated it in 2017 and furnished it for short term rental in 2019. Aggie and her mother are/were amazing quilters and we chose to honor them by using a quilters theme.

Custom Amish made, queen size mattress sets and some furniture are used in this home. A large yard off the back deck is available for games, sunning and relaxation. Many guests comment that they love the big chef's kitchen. Nearby parks with walking trails are a bonus.
