Sea Shanty ligger pÄ exklusiv Banks vÀg. Den rosa sandstranden ligger 5 minuters promenad bort, och Tippys restaurang ligger 2 minuters bilresa eller 15 promenad lÀngs stranden.

Sea Shanty, som sitter i 1/4 tunnland privat mark, har ett tak över dÀck, med utsikt över trÀd, med utsikt över havet bortom. Det mysiga sovrummet, som har king size-sÀng, ligger direkt frÄn dÀck pÄ andra vÄningen i huset. Nedre vÄningen Àr öppen planlösning, med ett litet men fullt fungerande kök, en matplats lÀmplig för 4 och en lounge som har en TV och en soffa, (soffan öppnar sig till en queen size-sÀng.) Fastigheten Àr lugn och fredlig, med bara nÄgra high end hus i grannskapet.

Det finns höghastighets trÄdlöst internet i hela fastigheten.

Fastigheten ligger centralt, 10 minuter frÄn Governors Harbour pÄ den vackra bankens vÀg, det mest eftersökta omrÄdet i Eleuthera. Det finns mil och miles av rev skyddade strÀnder, bÄde norr och söder, framför huset för att du ska utforska. Det finns bra snorkling och spjut pÄ stranden direkt framför.

Det finns mataffÀrer 10 minuter bort och 3-4 av de bÀsta restaurangerna pÄ ön ligger inom 10 minuters bilresa.

Fastigheten skulle passa ett par som letar efter ett lugnt och lugnt lÀge i hjÀrtat av ön.

Relaxing Beach GEtaway

The location is fantastic, the house is relaxed and comfortable--it makes you feel like you are relaxing. There were sand fleas on the beach which ate us right up for the entire week--maybe this was just a fluke for this time of year? Nice stay.

Cute little cabin snuggled in paradise.

Sea shanty was adorable. The pool was awesome. The owner came the first day to make sure everything was good and gave advice on what to do and where to go on the island. The beach is a very short walk, just across the street. Short walk to Tippy’s for great food and cold beer.

This house has a ton of charm with a very casual feel to it. Small swimming pool was extremely nice for those days of sunning on the decks then cooling off. The Beach was very close with 3 min or less walk. The master King Bed was very comfortable and had its on walkout balcony deck with beautiful views. There was a 2nd bedroom with large bed and bunk above, which would be nice if you had kids. The pictures accurately illustrate the house. The house is very private, which we liked and was perfect for our stay. It was also well appointed with towels, beach gear, TP, trash bags, coffee maker, coffee filters, etc. Jethro “Host” was extremely kind and helpful & responsive with our inquiries, which gave us a peace of mind. We will be staying again.

Cozy Cottage in Eleuthera

Cozy, secluded, cute cottage! Perfect location for the two of us to explore the beauty of Eleuthera. Comfortable bed, cold A/C and all the necessities from home. Excellent restaurants and other stores nearby, but I would recommend renting a car for the best opportunity to see all the beautiful beaches. Expect some power outages across the island with any storms, but it will be back on before you know it. Island life! We are counting the days until we can come back!

Sea Shanty is a gem!

Jerome’s place is a gem! This was our second stay here, and we were so happy to be back. The location is great. Sea Shanty is close to amenities yet has a very private feel. The beach access is less than a 5 minute walk down a palm tree lined path that is just across the street. Tippy’s is a short (10-15min) walk down the beach. This year we made a visit to the Leon Levy Preserve – which is a short drive from the house, and well worth a stop. The house itself is very comfortable and tidy. While we rarely felt the need for the a/c, it was nice to have on the few occasions when we wanted to take the humidity out. The upper deck is a great spot for coffee/tea in the morning. The backyard is like a mini sanctuary. The plunge pool was amazing. Just perfect for a quick dip after a day out exploring the island. Jerome was available for questions, but never intrusive. He is also terrific at making suggestions for restaurants, as well as beaches/activities to do. We had another fantastic stay and hope to be back next year!

Had a wonderful stay. Everything was clean and in working order. Had plenty of towels, chairs for the beach, and a couple of beach umbrellas. Jethro popped in to say hello and gave wonderful advice that made our trip even better. We would definitely stay again!

Unwind at the cottage!

Our family of 4 (with 2 kids) had a great time at the Sea Shanty! It was our first time visiting the island and it was the perfect base to explore the island. The cottage is very clean, true to the pictures and was perfectly outfitted with everything you need to be self sufficient! The backyard has a nice clean pool and we especially loved morning coffee on the upper patio. Jethro our host was super responsive (within minutes) and very accommodating!The beach is across the street, down a short 5-10 walk in either direction which was awesome! There’s a small grocery store in town and some great restaurants within 5-10 min drive. We’d come back in a heart beat!

Sweet "Sea Shanty" Retreat

Enjoyed our stay at Sea Shanty. The cottage was comfortable, the property was nice and the pool was a bonus. The rooftop deck was a great place to relax with morning coffee, evening beverage and star gazing. The path to the beautiful beach across the road was great.

Amazing Everything!!

We went for a 5 day stay on the island and I saw this listing and I really loved what I saw. Everything was MORE than the listing. Jethro, the owner, is just an absolutley AMAZING host. He will give you thorough instructions on not only the property but on everything from where to shop to what to go see. He covers EVERYTHING, we hit almost all the things on the list and it was just a blast. Communication with Jethro is excellent, when we needed something which was twice, Jethro responded immediatly and delivered promptly. The property is secluded and the views are simply great! You really are within minutes of the beach and town.There is a porch on the second story and it's perfect, not only can you see all around, but the sky at night is just stunning... We laid on the deck one night and just watched the clouds pass over the moon with a perfect breeze and the sound of the ocean waves crashing. Truly remarkable.Fwiw we made our own breakfast onsite.. there was an eggpan I used and a toaster for my english muffins, there are other things to cook with too I just made breakfast though. It was very convienent to have these things to keep the cost from eating out a little lower. We took home leftovers and while there is a microwave.. we never ate the leftovers.. lol.. oh well... If you get a chance to stay here then you will absolutley NOT regret it!!Thanks Jethro you rock brother!!!

Amazing experience at Sea Shanty

Sea Shanty was a great VRBO. - less than a 5 minute walk from the beach with clearly marked private trail -very private, clean, and in the middle of everything - All appliances and cooking utensils were working - great view of stars at night from private deck - amazing hosts that will answer right away when you contact. Deffinately recommend staying here.
