Avalón Villa ligger intill ~ båda är nyligen förvärvade och ingår i vårt CutAboveCabins erbjudande. Bellâ Casa är bara ombyggd och har 2 sovrum + sovplats + 3 badrum. The property is so beautiful! Staff bent over backwards to work with us on issues WE caused. I truly can't recommend this place enough. If you get up early, you'll see deer playing in the water on your shared mini beach! They advertise for Christmas, those photos are gorgeous.

Great Location

We enjoyed our visit to Hocking Hills. The home was stocked, comfy beds, lots of linens, pretty view of the lake. -One thing worth noting is that kayaks, bikes, fire pits, etc are shared. We believe the listing should disclose these shared spaces/items, rather than saying “not secluded”. We assumed we’d have full access to things that were shared with 7 homes. Not an issue, but should be disclosed for those uncomfortable. The weather didn’t allow us to use the outdoor space during our stay, but had the weather been better I would be curious as availability and how close other renters would have been to the home.-We had an issue with the hot tub. The owner was responsive and at first helpful and sent someone over. We reached back out to thank her, but tell her it wasn’t fixed.. while she said she send someone, her tone changed and we didn’t hear from her. The issue wasn’t resolved during our stay. This was the only thing we asked for during our stay, so to have it unresolved or apologized for was unfortunate. -We found the many notes, strict instruction, rigorous check out, overall rigidness/bluntness to be too much. We have stayed at many rentals and this was the least welcoming, and therefore least relaxing, home. We honestly felt as if we were being “watched” or “graded”. That may work for some, but for us, it did not and we would not return for that reason. Rules could be enforced more effectively. Personal preference, but this type of rental experience is not for us.

Beautiful Property

Clean and very well maintained property with plenty of room to spread out and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Close enough to anything you need or want to do but private enough to enjoy the hot tub and back deck. The fireplace is a hit! Will definitely be back!

Perfect Fall Get Away

We planned a short trip for Fall Break. This was the perfect spot. The home was so nice and had incredible views of the lake. Our 2 teens enjoyed taking the canoe out and doing some fishing. The home had everything we needed and the host was extremely helpful. Hoping to revisit in the summer!

We had such a wonderful time in this luxurious cabin! It had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and provided the perfect get away for our Ladies trip. Beautiful Bella

I was just inspired by the beautiful gardens that completely surrounded the property. I am booking a stay in June so that I can see them in their full glory. The expensive welcoming entrance is just breathtaking. The covered porch towards the lake was my favorite spot to spend the morning with my coffee, and sometimes into the afternoon! The panoramic view of the water soothed my soul. I enjoyed watching the kayakers take their boats and launch from the beach area. The creative talent of the owner is inspiring. I came home with ideas for my own gardens. This is something I didn't expect to see in a vacation rental. The pure love of the property shows in all the details. Inside the house is tastefully decorated and the kitchen is a dream. Open the cabinets and the drawers to a magazine worthy display. I loved the cookware. I will be replacing all of mine! It was a dream to clean up and a pleasure to use. We have found our second home! Thank you to the staff at Cut Above Cabins that does an extraordinary job of keeping up the property and adding new elements every time we come back. They are amazing and friendly. Very attentive to our every question. Thank you so much.

Perfect location

This is a perfect location for a visit to Hocking Hills. House is super clean and comfortable with a lovely view of Lake Logan. Our favorite part is the easy access to the lake and free use of kayaks. Very peaceful and relaxing.

We are Mother and daughter; Evelyn and Catherine. We moved to the Hocking Hills in 2006 and have enjoyed the area very much. We started a vacation rental business in 2014 with a one-bedroom cabin in the loft of our barn on our lakefront property, called Lake Logan Loft. It has been such a wonderful experience over 3 years that we decided to sell our rental business in another part of the state and invest in really special residences that we could share with you! Welcome to Cut Above Cabins, in the Hocking Hills. We have 2 Lodges and a cabin, each in secluded wooded areas on several acres each. We also have Château Lake Logan which is an adult-only couples retreat. We hope you will choose to stay with us when you plan your vacation to this special area known as the Hocking Hills Region.
