Kelleys Cove - Familjhem

Detta har varit ett bra familjhem i Äratal med mÄnga underbara minnen för mÄnga mÀnniskor. Det Àr bekvÀmt belÀget mellan staden och fÀrjan. Den har en fantastisk utsikt, massor av vilda djur, grÀsbevuxna trÀdgÄrdar och tillgÄng till vatten.

Kelleys Cove ligger mot början av Fairbank Point, dÀr vattnet börjar pÄ sydöstra sidan (soluppgÄngar). Vackra morgon soluppgÄngar ligger över vattnet och till vÀnster. Kelley's Cove Àr en grÀvbrygga / vik som ger vÀl skyddad tillgÄng till vatten och dockage. Detta Àr ett bra omrÄde för bÄtliv, paddling, kajakpaddling och anstÀndigt fiske. Det Àr cirka 2,7 miles frÄn fÀrjan docka och ca 5,5 miles till stan.

Kelley Homestead byggdes ursprungligen 1951. Det var lagt till pÄ och uppdaterat över tiden. Byggdes pÄ 50-talet var det vanligt att sovrummen var mindre och utan garderober. Det finns 3 sovrum med queen size-sÀngar och en öppen garderob typ garderob för klÀder. Det finns bara ett badrum. Vardagsrummet har en fantastisk utsikt över vattnet och dörren till framdÀcken. Köket har elektrisk spis, kyl / frys, mikrovÄgsugn, kaffebryggare, brödrost, köksredskap och disk (allt). Det finns ett tvÀttstuga med tvÀttmaskin och torktumlare. Handdukar och sÀngklÀder tillhandahÄlls. Internet WiFi tillhandahÄlls (tillrÀckligt bra för Youtube eller Netflix). En TV tillkom precis med 3 lokala kanaler och alternativ för internetströmning. Hela huset har nyligen mÄlade om och mÄnga objekt har uppdaterats.

Det finns en frÀmre dÀck att koppla av pÄ, med grill, bord och stolar. Det finns tvÄ bryggor utifrÄn, som ger en bÄt för dig, medan den andra Àr för vaktmÀstare / uthyrningschef och eventuell kajakuthyrning. PÄ gÄrden Àr en eldgrop med loggstativ och tillrÀckligt med ved för eld. Ofta förekommer 2 anhöriga familjer i viken och gott om hjort och andra djurliv som passerar genom. Viken sjÀlv Àr ca 6 ft djup. Botten Àr inte stenig eller sandig, men muck (en mjuk botten). Det finns rÀtt till tillgÄng till vattnet för kajakuthyrning pÄ den frÀmre högra sidan av gÄrden. PÄ satellitvyn ser du utanför köksfönstret en privat enhet, som ibland anvÀnds av kajakuthyrare.

Best ever

This is the best run house I have ever stayed at with vrbo. Everything was well stocked and easy communication with owners. When we ran out gas for the grill they replaced it in 5 minutes or less. I would stay here again without hesitation.

Enjoyed our stay. Many deer and birds on the property. Fully stocked kitchen and pantry. Helpful property manager. Only downfall was close neighbors and unable to swim in the lake due to weeds.

Kelley’s cove was exactly what was advertised. The place was spotless and I was blown away at how stocked the house was. We used this house as a base camp. The house is well placed and the sunrise is second to none. I would highly recommend this home. We will be back!

Jeep Weekend

Kelley’s Cove was an excellent place to stay! Clean, easy to get to, close to the ferry! It was absolutely perfect for our weekend Jeep The Mac trip. Check in process was easy, we had friends arrive early and Kari accommodated them immediately. I would recommend this property to anyone that is visiting the island. Although we weren’t at the cabin much since we were out and about, we will be booking for more days next time. The only small issue we had was with the internet connection for our cells phone and TV which wasn’t a big deal since we were on an island and it’s expected in my opinion. Pretty typical for a secluded cabin. Thank you Jason and Kari for our wonderful stay! See you next year!

Perfection on Drummond

I cannot say that I have liked a rental more ever. It was comfortable and inviting right from the start. The view and wildlife were always a joy. The house is homey, CLEAN and so accommodating none of us wanted to leave. If you could think of a perfect get away spot, this would be ours . Comfortable beds, hot shower, everything you could need available at your fingertips. We were on the island for our 20th wedding anniversary (Paul and Laura). We turned it into a great week off roading with friends who joined us. Jeeps and Broncos getting dirty, climbing steps and finding beaches and rocks. Thank you Jason for sharing your wonderful spot with us. Thank you Kari for a seamless check in and check out and for teaching me the trick to the pudding stone.

Had everything you could imagine in the kitchen and pantry. Extremely clean and better than described. Bed was very comfortable, television reception was great wi-fi was excellent. So, they even furnished kindling and the wood for the firepit and a gas grill with a full tank of propane. Excellent location and close to the ferry. The host Kari was w=very friendly and made us feel right at home. When we left we washed and dried the bed linens and remade the bed. Up to 5 deer at a time in the cove, sand hill cranes and even had loons. Extra dock where a friend was able to pick us up by boat for a 3 hour cruise and drop us back off. Highly recommend and will defentely go back.

Loved it.

The property is perfect. We were looking for affordability and more than one bathroom, not hi-falutin accommodations. So we were thrilled to find this comfortable family cottage on a small cove of Sturgeon Bay a couple of miles from the ferry. The home (it feels like a home) was clean, nicely furnished and well supplied with amenities. Incredible views and wildlife sighting, and a reasonable distance to trailer the side by side for a day of riding. Kari was an awesome hostess — available as needed, rich with information, and very helpful. Definitely recommend.
