We were there for a wedding and the house was close to other relatives who were also there and to the wedding venue. It fit our needs for a short weekend on a quiet island.

The place is nestled in a quiet place on the island. You are about 10 minutes from the beaches. The owner stocked the place with the necessities you will need. There is a lot of history on the island and restaurants around. In fact their is a breakfast place down the road from the cabin, named Driftwood. Really enjoyed our stay.

Labor Day Weekend at Templeton's

We loved our stay so much last year that we made sure we came back and booked Templeton's again. We love the cleanliness of the property and the ease of dealing with the host. The cabin has everything we need. Cannot wait to be back on Daufuskie again!

Perfect spot to enjoy the island. Quiet and peaceful, close to best beach

A great dog-friendly cottage with all you need to cook and relax. The tree-canopy view is a plus. Jay was super responsive. Highly recommend.

Loved Daufuskie & the Templeton Cottage

The Templeton Cottage was the perfect weekend rental for our boat trip from Charleston. Communication was excellent and the house was well-appointed with everything we needed and more. We can't wait to come back.

Lovely cottage

Thia was a perfect place to get away to! The cottage was clean and surprisingly stocked with anyrhing we needed. The porch off the living room made you feel like you were sitting in a treehouse! 100% would recommend staying here while visiting Daufuskie.

What a wonderful adventure! It was perfect for a relaxing escape!

From check in to check out everything about our stay was pleasant! Great little house hidden in the wilderness! Loved the golf cart and the outdoor shower! We greatly enjoyed coffee on the back porch looking out over the marsh. The location was perfect, just a minute from the beach! Can't wait to get back!

Family Vacation

We’ve stayed at Templeton Cottage a few times. It’s always very quiet and very relaxing. We love that it’s tucked away in the woods, and my wife is an avid bird watcher and we enjoy sitting on the upper back deck and looking out over the wetland and birdwatching. It’s close to the beach and tucked away just perfectly.
