Great Location and Host

The location was great for walking to dining and local shops. Perfect for visiting LMU. The host was very helpful answering questions and informing us about activities close by. We even had a question about the house and he responded immediately. Great place to stay!

Great Place

Highly recommend staying here. Older Craftsmsn house in a great location with era appropriate furnishings. Walkng distance to great restruants and shops, a short drive to LMU .Would definitely stay here agaib

Great location and house

This cottage is a pretty period house, decorated nicely, with plenty of room for our group. Location was perfect for our LMU event, and Cumberland Gap is such a quaint little spot. Will stay here again!

Charming home in the Gap

We needed a place to stay after bringing our DCOM student back to school after Christmas. The 1928 Cottage fit our needs perfectly. The house is spacious and comfortable.Our twin sons enjoyed having their own bedrooms!We enjoyed looking at the old pictures and perusing the many books. There's also several games to choose from. We played a rousing game of Life. The location can't be beat! We walked to both Angelo's and Gap Creek Coffee. Neither spot disappoints!Thanks to Anthony for excellent communication and for allowing us to use his lovely home.

Great Location

Cute craftsman right in the middle of Cumberland Gap. Restaurants, shops, and trails were easily accessed on foot. It was a quick drive to White Rocks/Ewing Trailhead, as well. We had a very nice stay!

Cozy Craftsman

Had a wonderful quiet, two nights stay with our dogs. The home is decorated beautifully and the relationship to Cumberland gap is perfect! The town is quaint and cute and everyone is very friendly. The owners were easy to communicate with, and on top of things. We really appreciated all of the books in the house And the comforts of home.

July 1 for Cumberland Gap

The property was charming; the kit house was a delight. The location in the valley with a main street of the town passing in front made the setting nice and quaint. The host was very helpful both before and after the stay.

Cumberland Gap Charm

This is a great little home in Cumberland Gap. Walking distance to restaurants and a coffee shop. The views from the home are amazing. Be sure to visit The Summit while you are there.

My husband and I were heading back up north to PA from visiting friends in Chattanooga area and purposely wanted to visit the Cumberland Gap to hike the trails. This rental house was perfect and we absolutely loved this house. It reminds us of my husband's Granny's place built in 1930. The town is more than we expected, especially when the next morning was an Arts and Wine festival right on Main Street. So much to do here in the area that my husband wants to come back longer than a night. We hope this rental will be available again. :)

Valentines Getaway

Dropped in for the night to enjoy a quick Valentine’s getaway. Property was exactly as described! Excellent location in the heart of town. Close to great eats and coffee shop. Very clean, well maintained home with vintage decorations, pictures/LMU memorabilia, and a homey, comfortable feel. Wi-Fi isn’t the fastest if you need to do some WFH, but it did the job. Would definitely stay again to enjoy some more time in the Gap!

Like a Lovely Step Back in Time

Words cannot express what a lovely time we had in the quaint, old mountain village of Cumberland Gap. The historic house was like a step back in time with cozy, comfortable antique furniture and original metal cabinets. It was FABULOUS! My 90 year old father was in HEAVEN reading the historic books and looking through old LMU yearbooks dating back to the 1920’s. Tony, our host, was AMAZING! He was so helpful and quick to respond to any questions. The special touches of bottled waters and fresh flowers were just icing on the cake. Located on the main street in the middle of the Gap, there were restaurants and old time shops a stone’s throw away. We loved it so much we’ve booked it for our next two trips out to visit our daughter in PA school at LMU. Thank you, Tony, for sharing your lovely home with us!

A Little Time in the Gap

We stayed at the Estep house and loved it! A quaint old house. We attended the Cumberland Gap Ghost tour. Pam was informative and fun👻 Can’t wait to go back! Great little town!

Nice Location and View

The house is cute and perfect location this not our first time in cumberland gap we tried VRBO for first time and we found this house, we found it’s not that clean we found the corners and underneath the furnitures, tables and floor mats ate dusty toilet bowl is not clean, I can suggest to remove some throw pillows and couch so that there’s enough space in the room..Overall we like the place
