Undvik hytter och hitta parkering för festivaler och Downtown. En kort trevlig promenad till de flesta evenemang. En fantastisk 1750 kvadratmeter, tre sovrum, två badrum, två våningar hem med en otrolig plats ett kvarter från södra 1 och sex kvarter från South Congress Ave.(SoCo).

Bara några minuter från centrala Austin (promenader eller cykling), god mat och pittoreska lokala restauranger med underhållning. Detta mysiga och inbjudande hem är fullt utrustade med alla möbler, apparater, välutrustat kök är utmärkt för matlagning och underhållande gäster. Hemmet har trägolv i hela och är mycket bekvämt för både vuxna och barn.

På första våningen finns sovrummet med en king size-säng och ett andra sovrum med en queen size-säng. Också på första våningen finns ett flersidigt nedsänkt badkar i det första badrummet. Det andra badrummet, även på första våningen, har en röd "clawfoot-typ" badkar i Väst-Väst-badrummet.
Köket är fullt utrustat med spis, ugn, kylskåp, mikrovågsugn och diskmaskin. Kaffebryggare, fransk press och kaffekvarn samt alla vanliga köksredskap ingår. Tvättmaskin och torktumlare finns också på första våningen.
Halvköket har en frukostbar. Det finns en platt skärm på vardagsrummets vägg, samt en konvertibel full soffa som omvandlas till en bäddsoffa.

Den andra våningen innehåller loftet vardagsrumsdel med en king size-säng samt en full storlek futon. Tillgång till det andra andra berättelsedäcken är genom glasdörrarna. Däcket är kronat av stora ekar och avskilt i en skog med frodig bambu.

Bakom fastigheten finns en 1 sovrum garage. (4 sovplatser, 2 i queen size-säng i sovrum och 2 i vardagsrum full säng) med eget kök och 3/4 bad. Detta har också ett däck inbäddat bland ekarna och bambu. Finns för extra utrymme, om det behövs. Priser, för garaget treehouse lägenhet, är ungefär 50% extra.

Bara några minuter till Downtown, SxSW, ACL, UT, Zilker Park, Mopac och Hwy 35. 15 minuter till flygplatsen, 10 minuter till Amtak station.

Great SXSW house-share 2025!

Kirk's property was a perfect house-share for SXSW 2025, with enough space for us to be comfortable (4 of us!), decent food and shopping options nearby, good bus transport links to zip into town, and loads of Ubers to get back and forth to the city, when time was short, and a great location to get back to the Austin airport too! Kirk was a fantastic host, quick and polite with his responses and happy to answer our questions too. Thanks for helping make our Southby'25 a good one! :)

The house worked great for us. It’s a bit funky but clean, comfortable and fantastic location. Owner very friendly and helpful. Would easily stay there again! Lots of places are walking distance and fun neighborhoods to explore

Spacious home with an unbeatable location and a wonderful host!

My group of 7 people came to Austin for ACL and wanted something relatively close to Zilker Park. This place was PERFECT. Not only was it close to Zilker, but it was also walking distance to so many restaurants, bars, and shops. There was enough room in the Airbnb for all of us to sleep comfortably without all being packed in like sardines. The property was so charming too - we loved spending time out on the deck surrounded by greenery. Kirk was a fantastic, accommodating host. Can’t wait to stay here again sometime.

Great location excellent communications

We had so much fun visiting Austin! This house is in a great location, walking distance to so much, and Kirk is an excellent host, very easy to connect with and so helpful! One of us left a work recorder and Kirk sent it to us expedited, and even covered the mailing. Certainly would visit again, thanks Kirk!!

Great location. A bit musty

The place is a bit musty - one of my friends had issues with allergies. Location is fantastic. Owner was very communicative and responsive. As someone else mentioned, would not be good for anyone with mobility issues (spiral staircase, bathtubs that require large steps to get into).

Nice house

House is in a quiet area surrounded by bamboo. Kirk was a great host, accommodating a later checkout even tho he had new guests coming. The house is older but nice and clean and comfortable. Comfortable beds. Recommend staying here

Great location, but austere dilapidated conditions

The location of the house is very close to downtown Austin and so convenient to many travel sites. The neighborhood is interesting and mixed, and house values reflect its location to downtown Austin. A couple of the neighboring houses are being remodeled and are two million-dollar plus houses. According to Zillow this particular property is worth $1 million, however, it is clear that is for the land and not the house. My wife was distraught when she saw the inside. It was not unclean, but neither was it spick-and-span clean. The bathrooms are very old with limited shelf space. There are two bedrooms and a loft. Our kids stayed up in the loft but whenever they walked it was very noisy downstairs. There is one television in the living room. The kitchen does have pots and pans and is fairly well-equipped. The house is probably ideal for a group of college aged males who, as a general rule, probably care less about refined living. The rent is reasonable for the size and location, but if you are looking for something classy, tasteful, or elegant, steer clear of this house. The owner was very helpful in terms of communication. Our family would not stay there again. If I were back in college and planning a trip to Austin with a bunch of guys, this place would be high up on the list.

Great location & roomy home

I stayed here with a group of friend for 4+ nights, and we had a great time! Great location - walking distance to lots of great restaurants and shops. The house was roomy enough for our group, and I was so happy when the shower stayed nice and hot for 8 back to back showers! Kirk was also a very kind and attentive host.

Cute House - Great Location

The house is in a great location. Kirk was easy to work with. With had 3 adult couples and there was plenty of room. The house is a little funky, but the beds were comfortable, the heat and a/c worked great, and the place was clean. There was no outside sitting area to speak of, but we didn't care as we could walk to South Congress St where all the action is.

The Bouldin Creek Area at its best.

The house was not only as good as promised, it exceeded in space, accommodation, atmosphere, and amenities the words in the description. The host was quite accommodating and attentive to questions and messages. The house is an area in Austin that harkens to a period that established an "Austin vibe" that is receding as the 'new Austin" arrives (curiously seeking the Austin vibe that the the new Austin might accidentally smother). Bouldin accommodates both streams of energy. The neighborhood is quiet, but within easy walking distance of dining and entertainment attractions of Austin's South Congress district. It was a pleasure to have found the house, to have spent time there, and to have worked with the host. Kudos.

Fantastic Getaway!

The location and accommodations were PERFECT, and the owner Kirk was so helpful with the checkin process and with any issues we had. Was a great place to stay for our group of friends on a reunion trip to Austin. 10/10 would stay again!
