Had to move

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: First spot i reserved in villa had wet paint on patio. Had to move to Ariel Dunes. 19th floor. It was ok but not only had skimpy little bars of soap but had a good view.

We had to go to the store to purchase dish detergent for washing dishes. Several of the dishes that were removed from the cabinet were dirty. The sofa cover was dirty. It had spots and stains all over the cover. The beds were extremely uncomfortable and hard. Very hard to relax and get a good night's rest because of the beds. However, overall we had a good stay.

Room cleanliness concerns, maintenance concerns

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: There was purple spattering on the kitchen and full bath walls and doors that I easily removed with a moistened paper towel - so the room was not cleaned thoroughly. The floor was dirty in the corners and the floor was sandy. In the full bath, the toilet was not secured with bolts to the floor.

Good view of the ocean. The fridge in our unit was incredibly noisy during our entire stay and no one came out to fix.

Reviewer Comments: On an over all the patio view is good..On day 1 got bad smell in the room.Kitchen is not clean.In hall, kitchen, bedroom floors has sea sand.Kids Bunk bed blankets are very dirty.Patio chairs are also dirty.House keeping people are not aVailble on day 1.. no good customer service..so we cleaned all the floors in all rooms, we ouself cleaned the kitchen.. Not satisfied with the charges for this kind of ambience..

Perfect place to get away ..

The view from the deck is beautiful. Grocery stores and anything else you need are a 5 minute drive away.I would book here again.

Absolutely beautiful view of the Gulf!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, it was a great place to stay. The view was absolutely amazing . The unit was a little outdated and needed some care. The remote for the living room fan did not work and the one for the bedroom was missing. There was no stopper for the bathtub. The refrigerator made a very loud noise when the compressor shut off. The kitchen faucet leaked when you turn it on. I would have loved to keep the slider door open but the screens for the sliders were ripped. Also on the last day we were there there was a water issue and we were without water, which meant no showers. I mean we weren’t in the unit a lot, but, we thought you should know the issues we had. I would recommend the property, maybe not unit 1906.

Comfortable Condo, Great location

The Good: The condo was the perfect size for a family of four. The bed’s were surprisingly comfortable and everything was very clean. We felt safe there. We loved the balcony overlooking the ocean, the pools are really nice, and the location is walkable to restaurants and a surf shop. Beach accessibility was also great. The complex is well known so uber drivers a grocery delivery found us very easily. The not so great: when we arrived we were texted a code for the front door keypad. The code didnt work. The office was supposed to be open until 5pm, but I called repeatedly at 4:30 with no answer. I called the emergency line, the maintenance line, the golf pro shop, and went and talked to the guard shack at the entrance of the property and either no one could help us or no one answered the phone. We tried for an hour and a half before we finally got ahold of someone and they were able to give us a new code. I don't really consider it an emergency line if you have to leave a message and wait 90 minutes for a response. There is also lack of communication on how beach service works. While beach service is included in the rental, you have to go down to the La Dolce Vita beach huts every day to reserve a chair. They don't open until 9a. If you aren't in line by 7:50am you will get an umbrella in the 2nd or 3rd row and you cant even see the water. One day we even reserved in advance and prepaid online thinking we wouldn't have to stand in line for an hour so we didn't go down to claim our umbrella until later - we still got 3rd row because we didnt go stand in the morning line. There are also 3 La Dolce Vita huts and they aren't clearly marked which one is for which service. One morning I stood in line for an hour only to be told I was in the wrong line, so I had to go stand in another line for another 30 minutes. There has got to be a better way to do this! Luckily, all of the kids working for La Dolce Vita are super sweet and helpful, its not their fault the system sucks. While all of this is mostly a La Dolce Vita problem, I wish Seascape had clearer instructions upon arrival of how it all works so you don't waste half the morning trying to figure it out. Overall it was a lovely stay with just a few minor inconveniences.

Poor appliances, elevator service and beach access

No adult coffe cups, crappy coffee machine. No filters or coffee... most places have all of these or tgey have modern coffee makers. They have 2 kid size cups. No sufficient kitchen dishes, pan or strainer. Old and rusty balcony chairs, very uncomfortable sofa in living room. The place could be made great w a little bit of spending. The elevator situation was a hot mess. We took the stairs 4 times in 5 days... 19th floor so not ideal.... the. Each access was the biggest joke. 0.45 mile walk to our section and you have to stand in line for 30 mins to reserve the 'free' umbrella and chairs... sadly it was very disappointing. We will never be back to this complex. Oh and the golf course is in pathetically bad shape. All burnt out grass, way below par conditions. I recommend you all to find other places for this kind of money.

Great location

Pull out couch sheets had not been washed in a significant amount of time. I washed them and the stains came right now. They also had lots of hair on them. The floors were gritty with lots of hair in the bathroom. The bathroom sinks and tubs were also severely stopped up. Otherwise, great location. Short walk to the beach.

Unit in sub-par shape, good luck getting in touch with anyone while you’re there

Upon arrival, the room was not cleaned very well. The microwave was falling apart, the floors were sandy. The balcony door would not lock. Our last night in the room, my wife plugged her phone charger in the outlet by the master bed, and it popped and smelled like smoke. I called the “after hours emergency number” and after four tries, finally got someone to answer the phone. I was told maintenance would be notified and someone would be there. At 1 am, no one had shown up and upon several more attempts to get someone on the phone, I was unsuccessful. We checked out the next day and I called to report the problem to a manager. Of course no manager was there and I was told he/she would return my call... that still hasn’t happened. I would not recommend!
