Avslappnande gammalt bondgård på Treasure Island offentliga del av Upper North Platte River. Ett idrottsmannsparadis, eller ett ställe att smutta på ditt kaffe och avsluta din roman medan du lyssnar på ljudet från floden och tar in doften av de gigantiska bomullsträdträd som gränsar till den. Old style charm with with modern conveniences, this home has it all. The location is very private and sits adjacent to Treasure Island on the peaceful North Platt River. Terrific views, great fly fishing and only 13 minutes to Saratoga, Wyoming. Designed for a quiet get away or a celebration with family and friends.

Great get away from the city!!

This beautiful and serene property gives you that modern ranch experience with all the amenities and activities you want. Close to Saratoga and the free 24x7 Hobo hot springs, great views, nature hikes, creek access, and a hot tub to end the day. It was idealic and I especially appreciate the owner ensuring that when an unexpected snow storm hit, he offered assistance to ensure we got out safely. We look forward to coming back!

Fall getaway

Working with Jeff the Manager was a great experience. The property was very clean with a lot of extra perks. If you are looking for a peaceful setting and enjoy hearing and seeing wildlife, then this is the place for you. The hot tub and Traeger smoker were a couple of highlights. Jeff, thank you for sharing your beautiful property with us. We look forward to coming back next year.

There’s No Place Like Homestead

We wanted to be close to a real Wyoming town yet out on our own. Three fathers and three sons wanted a last chance fishing trip before high school senior year. This place was perfect! The Homestead was right next to the river allowing us to fish out our back door for wild browns and bows. It was comfortable and very convenient to Saratoga with restaurants, stores, etc. Being there for a week was special since everyone in the area knows Jeff. Thanks Jeff for being a great host and we will see you next year (minus the sons). Appreciate your hospitality!

Treasure by the River

We could not have asked for a better home to get away from all the hustle of the world. An abundance of privacy and peace. The house was so quaint yet had all the technology needed in today’s world. The icing on the cake was the host, Jeff. The communication was ten stars. Any and everything we needed, Jeff was only a text away. We appreciated all of our time here and will definitely be back for another stay.

Lives up to the name Treasure Island Homestead!

This is our second time to treasure Island Homestead and it was perfect, again. Peaceful with beautiful views out every window.porches all around for shade any time of day. Move in ready with a full spice rack/pantry. Even jelly beans and cookies. I woke up in the morning early and could almost smell the coffee, biscuits and bacon my grandma used to wake me up with. The place just has that good energy. Walk to the river and fish or just sit by it and listen. If you have any questions about the area or just need anything, Jeff is there and answers right away but he also knows when to just let you be. Thank you again Jeff for a wonderful place to stay!

Hard to beat

What a perfect place to stay while exploring more of our beloved North Platte River. The charm and captivating beauty of this place is enhanced by its history and obvious family sentiment. Remote without being too far out there. Nice drive to either town. Right next to a prime public access area to the North Platte River for fishing/launching. Great wildlife viewing, especially raptors. Jeff will not let you miss out on anything happening in the County! He's an attentive host. We will definitely visit again to see the place during a different season. Star-gazing was prime. Well-stocked with everything you need for meal prep and coffee in the morning. How generous to share a family heirloom like this with guests. Thank you Jeff.

Fantastic break from reality!

This was our first trip to Wyoming as a family and staying at the homestead was definitely the right choice! It was quiet, peaceful and so beautiful. Everyone found something fun to do. My husband enjoyed reading on the back porch and watching the humming birds fly back and forth. Our five year old thought that hot tub and the river next to the house were the funnest things ever! And the teenagers enjoyed exploring the wilderness nearby. We would love to come back again! Thank you, Jeff for being so responsive and welcoming. P.S. I left my Bose headphones at the house and Jeff is arranging them to be sent back. Thank you!!!

Awesome property!

I can't say enough how this property and house exceeded our expectations. Jeff made our stay incredible. From the beginning Jeff was great with communication, helping us locate local guides for fishing and horseback riding, restaurants, things to do in the area, etc. It took the guesswork out of it. The property was also amazing. There is a stream about 40 yards from the back door our kids loved to play in, and entrance to the North Platte was walking distance away. When we met up with our fishing guides we meet them at our property. Everyone loved the hot tub, especially overlooking the mountain range in the back. The inside was clean and updated. They did a great job leaving notes in various places to help us work varioius things in the house, again taking the guesswork out of it. Jeff even had a six pack of beer waiting or me on arrival... :) I don't know what I could have changed about the place, it was perfect. Austin Williams

This home away from home has it all! Private access to the River, fully stocked kitchen, cozy living room, sleep number bed, and views from every window. It’s like stepping back into time in the best way. I love the horses in the pasture and cattle near by. Hummingbirds visit when we’re in the kitchen. Did I mention the spotless hot tub? Also with views! Close to Saratoga and Encampment with the best restaurants, grocery store and the best bait and tackle shop. Knowledgeable staff who aren’t afraid to share their secret fishing spots. Last but not least, Jeff is the most helpful, responsive and friendly host. He is there when needed but never intrusive. He also sends maps for all kinds of fun things to do for any age or preference. This was our 3rd stay and we will be back! Thanks again for a wonderful stay

This was the ideal spot for a peaceful, quiet family getaway. We couldn't have asked for a more gracious, helpful host as well! The serenity and beauty of the property was only equalled by the comfort and thoughtful care of the farmhouse itself. It had everything we could have needed and more. Would certainly recommend this place to anyone in search of a homestead paradise to truly relax, get away from the crowd, and get back in touch with nature.

Perfect for our use

Everything was great, from the hosts communication to the location. Check in to the property was simple and well documented. The rooms were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked(multiple pots and pans), which hasn't been the case in previous places I've stayed. The mud room was an added bonus for our fishing gear and a good place to dry any wet items. I would happily stay there again.

This vacation property is very well kept and supplied. It is a beautiful location. Extremely comfortable. Very relaxing location. We enjoyed the hummingbirds and other wildlife. Lots of extras including pre made hummingbird food and written instructions on most items.

Fisherman’s Paradise

The Treasure Island Homestead is a fisherman’s paradise. This beautiful farmhouse sits on the North Platte river just minutes from Saratoga Wyoming. It was the perfect place for this fishing family of 5. We literally just walked out the back door and started fishing. We caught 30 of some of the biggest Rainbow and Brown trout we have ever caught on vacation and that was just in a two day stay. Most of our catches were in the 14-18 inch range. The house itself was clean and comfortable. The homeowner has stocked the house with anything you could possibly need for your stay. The best part was soaking in the hot tub after a long day of fishing. If you are not fisherman there are plenty of other things to do close by. The Medicine Bow National forest is a short drive from the house and boasts beautiful hiking trails for your enjoyment. The quaint town of Saratoga has several good restaurants and multiple small shops for your enjoyment. We are looking forward to our next stay at the Treasure Island Homestead.
