Great for larger groups

This house was great for our group of 10. There was plenty of space and bedrooms for all of us, the view of the lake was awesome, and it was about as close to town as you can get without sacrificing the view of the lake.

Lots of space!

This house was perfect for our family. We had plenty of bedrooms, one for each little family. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook with and the deck was great for eating or just hanging out. However, no ping-pong table.

Great home base for groups!

This house is set up perfectly for groups, a good easy location, lots of parking and places to sleep. There have been updates since the photos including new couches and bedding. Its refreshing to not see bunk beds everywhere in a larger house. The garage game room was an added bonus!! We loved the stay. the house has every amenity you could need (well we needed a hairdryer so bring your own) and more.

Bear lake home

We loved all the parking we had a motorhome and four vehicles plenty of room, although the grounds were in pretty bad shape there were thistles some of which were 5 ft tall thistles all over in the grass and in the driveway. There was a very nice deck on the upper level that we really enjoyed Great views of the lake. Inside of the house was great but we were told it had a ping pong table and there was not one and the pool table was not usable.

Filthy House!

The house was extremely dirty! Big wads of black hair stuck to the floor in the downstairs bathroom! There was stuff i scraped off the kitchen floor with my fingernail so I don't think they cleaned it very good if at all! The whole house needs a deep clean the baseboards are filthy. There was also half eaten food under the couches that was visible so i don't understand why it wasn't cleaned up... The house was freezing the entire time we were there because the A/C was set at 64° and no amount of turning it up would help so everybody walked around in blankets the whole trip! We have stayed at different houses/cabins for going on 20 years and have never had a problem with any of them. Honestly it was a complete waste of money and time off for us and our grown children because of the accommodations.

Weekend stay

This home has a good amount of rooms. But I would say the sleeping is a little weird there are a lot of beds in every room. Like the master has a king but then a queen also. Also it’s a little cluttered for me. The deck has beautiful views. The garage game room was fun. I do think it needs some updating. Over all we had a good weekend.

Great view

Love this house. Decorated nicely. Kitchen was stocked with everything you need. Plenty of towels. Gorgeous view. One of the pockets on the Pool table was broken so that was a little disappointing. Hard to find especially in the dark because there are no street signs. Plenty of room for all 15 of us. Close to town, ATV trails and the lake.

Tons of Room

Lots of beds! Several rooms for privacy, only three bathrooms, including the master bath. Wish we could have stayed longer! We will be back!

Beautiful Views!

We loved the beautiful views! We enjoyed the grill and tables on the deck for shaded dinners after a day in the sun. We liked the nice gathering area and well equipped kitchen. We could have used one more bathroom for our large group, but it was a great spot and value and we had a great time!

Out dated and broken

All of the fun family accessories (pool table, fooseball, table tennis and air hockey) were all broken and unusable. And the place looked like it was last updated in the 1990s. I expected a lot more for the amount of money I paid.

Sailboat Manor

Overall it was an ok experience. Had to shovel a foot of snow upon arrival, took several calls and a couple of days to get driveway and access plowed. Would be difficult to access without 4wd.

Great location

Our group of 16 was very comfortable with this home. The three living spaces worked nicely. I’m including the game room in the living spaces because we spread out to all of them. There’s plenty of parking space on the area above the house.

Enjoyed our stay!

This property sits on the hill overlooking the lake. It has great views! We enjoyed watching a storm come across the lake. There are no other houses to the front or sides, just a house lower on the hill at the back. As shown in the pictures there is a big grass area with a little slope that we enjoyed playing on. The grandkids loved playing air hockey and pool. We were a little worried about the lack of A/C, but at least when we were there it wasn't uncomfortable. There are a lot of fans in the house. The listing detail is incorrect as to the bed placement. There are four bedrooms with two beds (queens, one king, maybe one full) and one room with just a king. There was plenty of seating in the kitchen (but it was a little tight), a fridge in the kitchen and in the game room, and small appliances including a rice cooker. There was not an electric pot to quickly boil water like many places have. Earlier reviews during covid talked about a shortage of TP. That was not the case when we were there. Note that Google Maps does NOT correctly take you to the house using the address provided. Make sure you follow the directions you are given. Overall we were very pleased and would stay there again. Thanks!

The property was decent, but not as clean as we had hoped.

We loved the location and size of the property. The bedding was not clean and sheets had obviously not been changed in some of the beds. The kitchen and patio were well-stocked and helpful. The road to the property was less than desired for a boat. It seemed like it needed a good cleaning, like window sills, carpet cleaning, etc.

Almost perfect

All 16 of us absolutely LOVED this home. It has everything we want and need. The only downfall was that there was no air conditioner. That is the ONLY reason we will not re-book here.

In general a good place to stay

We liked this property but a few things would have made it better. First, there needs to be a screen in the window of the master bedroom. The room got warm but would have cooled down if we had been able to open the window without letting bugs in. Second, the rug in the master bedroom is a trip hazard because the edges curl up. The one in the living room is coming apart which also makes it a trip hazard.
