NATUR på det är bäst! Luta dig tillbaka, slappna av och njuta Arizona berömda solnedgångar och våra fantastiska utsikt över bergen. Fågel / natur älskare paradis. Vid basen av Tortolita bergen med fantastisk utsikt över Catalina Mountains också. Stora fönster hela. Perfekt nordväst Tucson läge ... 7 miles öster om Interstate 10; strax öster om Dove Mountain & nyöppnade Ritz Carlton, 20 minuter från flygplatsen. Inga grannar i närheten, men du är några minuter från underbar shopping, filmer, restauranger, etc. Fry's (Kroger) Superstore / marketplace 1 mile. Kinesisk restaurang i samma centrum.

Njut av vår wraparound, täckt uteplats med fantastisk utsikt, gas BBQ och uteplats set. Vackert anlagda fastighet med en "särskild" väg som leder till en lugn miljö där du hittar en bänk bredvid en vacker, spretigt, infödd mesquite träd, jätte saguarokaktus & en arroyo (torr bäckfåra).
Hör prärievargar yla, se Bobcats, stora eared jack kaniner, Gambel vaktel, väg löpare, kaktus gärdsmygar, skyhöga röda svans & harris hökar .... kanske till och med en del nattliga javalenas (pecary ... ser ut som små vildsvin).

Härlig 2 mil slinga promenad från Casita genom vår vackra Sonoran öken.

Vår Casita Del Sol (Little Sunshine House) har en stor kung säng, master-svit med step-in dusch, dubbla fåfänga, klädkammare och Huge utsikt fönstret. Den innehåller följande antikviteter: toalettbord, ekbänk och spegelhörn. Drottningen sovrummet är inrett i sydvästra smak och är helt inbjudande. Den 3: e sovrum / kontor har en dubbelsäng. Du kan sova en 6: e på antika Jenny Lind dag säng i det stora rummet. Andra badrummet har badkar med dusch. Det finns rikligt med naturligt ljus, vackra southklinkergolv i hela hemmet och bekväma luftkonditionering / gas värme. Franska dörrar, från köket, öppna på omlott täckt uteplats.

Fantastic stay
We had an outstanding stay in a wonderful property. The tennis court was such a bonus for little tyker play area. The hosts are exceptional and the house was spotless, well equipped and super fun. The amazing birds at the feeder were so great to watch. The location is close to hikes, stores and parks.

Casa del Sol -- great for hiking
We enjoyed our stay at Casa del Sol so very much! It's fairly equidistant to Saguaro West and Tucson Mountain Park vs. The Catalina Road up toward Mt. Lemmon and Sabino Canyon, then you've got Dove Mountain literally in the back yard and Romero Canyon fairly close -- so much to enjoy, and virtually everything in the house that you could need!! Larry and Claire are close at hand if you need anything, but not obtrusive. In short, an ideal paradise to call home for a couple weeks or more!!

Peaceful and Beautiful Location
Casita Del Sol is a beautiful place to stay! We were surrounded by nature and close to several great hiking trails. We also attended our niece’s wedding in downtown Tucson just minutes away. Larry and Claire have made their Casita very comfortable with all the amenities you could possibly need. We are photography enthusiasts and birders and loved seeing an abundance of wildlife during our stay. We did not want to leave and expect to return again someday!

lovely casita
The property was lovely, felt like we were out in the wilderness despite being off a main road. We loved watching the mountains change color throughout the day. An easy short hike thru the desert is close by. Property owners responded promptly to a battery request and checked on us during our stay, nice people. The house was immaculate. We would absolutely stay here again.

Absolutely Amazing!
We had an amazing stay! This property is gorgeous and had everything we needed. We saw beautiful sunsets and had an interesting experience with a javelina the first night! It was super exciting. Larry and Claire were so nice and friendly. We will definitely stay here again on future trips.

Great location
We stayed over Thanksgiving while visiting family in Marana and Tucson. Location was great for us, and close proximity to shopping and restaurants. We joked that the casita was nicer than our first house! We’d definitely stay again.

Highly recommended
We stayed at Casita del Sol for six weeks ending in April, 2023. Claire and Larry were gracious and helpful hosts, but were not intrusive in any way. The casita was well-supplied with paper products and toiletries to last the entire length of our stay. The kitchen has all you need to make and serve any meal. Most casitas are small, but this one is spacious, with three bedrooms and two baths, which made it easy to host our two sets of overnight visitors. A walk-in closet, king-size bed and en suite bath make the master bedroom super convenient. There is wonderful bird life and Sonoran desert vegetation right outside the door. The nearby Tortolita trail systems offer varied hiking opportunities, and there are abundant bike trails close at hand. We highly recommend the facility and the Klinglers as hosts.

A Calming Place
A wonderful and calming casita fully surrounded by nature. The hosts Claire and Larry were above and beyond hospitable. We were even provided with oranges and lemons from their trees upon arrival! Easy access to amenities. Would 100% stay there again.

A wonderful place to stay with very welcome hosts.
I enjoyed my initial stay so much I extended my stay for as long as I could until the next booking came in. I've never so so at home in a place that wasn't my home before. The views are beautiful and the casa was very spacious and has everything you need. And I do mean anything! Hosts went out of their way to make us feel welcome and responded quickly if we need anything.

A paradise on the outskirts of the city ❤️
This is a phenomenal place to have a weekend getaway or a vacation. The tennis court was so much fun and great exercise, even though nobody in our family has played before. The house is sophisticated and modern. The landscaping is lovely, and the view of the Catalinas is stunning. We spent time hiking around the property, watching sunsets on the porch, having lovely meals in the well equipped kitchen, and the host was so nice as to even let us use her amazing kid friendly s-pool! It was an incredible stay and we will return for sure. Thank you so much Claire and Larry!

Wonderful Casita
We really liked this casita. It was very clean and had everything we needed. The owners were great and made sure we were happy. The location was beautiful and private. Lots of wildlife. We saw a javelina passing through while we were sitting on the porch and then he came back through an hour or so later. We will definitely stay there again.

Great dessert escape.
My wife and I wanted a warm escape from our Minnesota winter near good hiking and this property was perfect for us. The hiking nearby is excellent. We saw mule deer, javalena, and a great variety of birds in the yard. The property is isolated in a great desert locale yet only a mile from a good grocery store. The cassita itself is appointed with everything you need and your hosts are very helpfull. If we decide to stay in the Tucson area again this will be our first choice.

Beautiful desert home
This is a lovely setting with gorgeous views of the desert and the Catalina mountains. Lots of birds, wildlife, and room to roam. The house was perfect for a family.

Wonderful family vacation!
The house and property were everything we hoped for-- clean, inviting, comfortable. The location was excellent. It was easy to get to from the airport, close to shopping, but still felt like you were away from the crowd. The property was beautiful with a variety of cacti, plants and birds. We loved having a tennis court right out the door, overlooking the beauty of the desert and the mountains. The sunrises and sunsets were gorgeous. Larry and Clare are wonderful hosts, responsive to needs and questions. We would definitely stay here again and surely hope we will sometime.

La Casista tan linda
What a gem and the perfect place for the family to celebrate Thanksgiving. The house had everything we needed to cook Thanksgiving dinner and all our meals and the large table made it easy to social distance, eat, socialize and play board games. We enjoyed breakfast outside where we could take in the exquisite scenery and loved exploring the area on foot and with our bicycles. Claire and Larry were the perfect hosts, helpful, but not intrusive and we would happily stay here again on a return visit to Tucson. You'll love staying in this property as did we.

Turkey in Tucson
Casita Del Sol is a wonderful experience. We arrived at night, and would highly recommend. The gate is great. Punch in the code and there you go. The driveway is dirt. The crackle of stones As the wheels roll increaseS the expectation. Upon arrival, which was super easy, my father parked in the back and I approached the Casita. There were lots of cactus. I managed to a avoid them. Unlocked the Front door and low and be hold, maGic. The description gives the basics, which are accurate, but the extra are the double bonus. I don’t want to spoil the surprises. Staying for four days, feeding for four people, we did not need anything. Literally, it’s all there. Bring your personal care and sustenance. The rest is basically provided +1. Have fun.

Casita Del Sol was built on our 10 acres, with it's garage and our home's garage facing each other for maximum privacy. Each home is on at least 5 acres. We are the owners, Larry & Claire Klingler. We love to travel around the world and also meet new people here at home. We hope you will come see us soon. We have a very unique setting, and private security gate(you will be given a remote for the gate and the garage).

Varför värden valde detta boende

We are at the base of the Tortolita Mountains on the far Northwest side of Tucson. Shopping centers are be minutes from us, but our only views, from high on a plateau, are of the Catalina & Tortolita Mountains, plus the gorgeous saguaro forest(cactus giants of our special Sonoran desert).

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

Because our property is on 10 acres and there are not many homes in our area, we get a tremendous amount of birds/wildlife. Javelina(pecaries), bobcats, fox, deer, jackrabbits, rock, roundtail and the antelope squirrels, coyote, roadrunners, and more....you may see gambel quail with their babies, or the flowering cacti if you are here at the right time of year. Our winter weather is savored by everyone, worldwide and our spring and fall seasons are fabulous. Contact us with any questions you may have. We are very friendly and easy to talk to.
