Loved this apartment - and the view!!

This apartment was lovely. It was spacious and has a large terrace with amazing views. It was well-equipped with all we needed, close to a few grocery stores and centrally located to the many sites. I would definitely stay again.

Nice condo could be better maintained

We gave notice of our arrival well in advance, as per the instructions we were given and we also kept in communication the entire time. However, we still had to wait at least 20 minutes in front of the property prior to being met by the greeter who was very nice. A light bulb was burnt out in the powder room. The gentleman that met us told us someone would come to replace the burnt-out light bulb within 30 - 60 minutes. Well, over 24 hours later that light bulb had not been replaced. It took a few emails and phone calls before someone finally came to replace the burnt-out light bulb in the powder room. 2 hand towels and two bath towels and 1 kitchen towel were provided. When I mentioned there was not a towel left for the powder room the managing company sent cleaners with fresh towels and bed sheets. That too took more than one email and phone call as the cleaners hadn’t shown up at the appointed time. The en-suite bathroom tub/shower has a quarter glass partition. Therefore, it is impossible to have a shower without water spraying onto the en-suite bathroom floor. One has to try to shower up against the corner to avoid water going everywhere and there is no floor drain. A very small towel/floor mat was provided and it was completely soaked after 1 shower. One could not bathe in the tub as there was no drain plug provided. The tub also drained very slowly so the tub filled up while taking a shower. There is a window above the tub and the concrete/plaster is literally rotting/falling off as the owner chose not to tile the walls above the tub/shower combo. The apartment has great Wifi and the Cable TV is also equipped with access to Netflix. The kitchen was nice, however the dishwasher wasn’t installed properly as it sits loosely in the cabinetry and the lower cabinet kick plate fell off when the dishwasher was initially opened. Very basic cooking equipment was provided. Absolutely no condiments were provided. Only 2 bars of small soap, and hand soap dispensers in each bathroom , and a small bottle of shampoo and shower gel/soap. In the kitchen dishwasher soap was provided, soap for 1 load of clothes for the clothes washer was provided and a bottle of dish soap to wash dishes by hand. 1 very dirty dish sponge was provided. The apartment itself was quite clean and presentable. The large deck was not very clean. Bird excrement on the deck and lounge chair, etc. Some window latches were broken - unable to open.

Tolle Penthouse Wohnung mit viel Potential.Die Lage war super, mitten im Trubel aber ruhig aufgrund des Hinterhofes.Fahrstuhl, bis in den Keller.Es gibt sogar einen Stellplatz in der Tiefgarage, allerdings braucht man hier nur Uber.Trotzdem wäre die Info vorab schon gewesen. War uns nicht so klar. Dann hätten wir den Mietwagen behalten.Tolle Terrasse mit super Ausblick Klima funktioniert wunderbar.Zu zweit ein tolles Appartement.Aber!! Wir waren zu viert.Die eine Schlafcouch war kaputt, die zweite sah auch nicht mehr so gut aus.Die Betten für die Kinder waren nicht gemacht.Auf Anfragen, Anrufe gab es keine Reaktion.Eine Bettdecke war dreckig. Waschmaschine gab's, aber keinen Wäscheständer.

super emplacement, super terrasse

On a bcp aimé l'emplacement central, la qualité du lieu (même si quelques réparations amélioreraient le lieu... mais rien d'important). La terrasse est vraiment agréable et spacieuse, avec une vue sur la ville très jolie. Nous regrettons qu'il n'y ait rien comme base pour cuisiner (sel, huile, poivre...), même pas une capsule de café de bienvenu (cafetière spéciale, nous ne savions pas quel type de capsule utiliser). Nous y retournerons avec plaisir.

Un bel emplacement mais pour le reste tout est à faire

Un bel emplacement, une terrasse . Mais pas d’accueil , pas de numéro d’immeuble , pas de numéro d’étage ! Après un appel au gérant enfin les explications, nous nous sommes donc débrouillés pour trouver l’appartement sans son aide et la c’est le code d’entrée à l’appartement qui ne fonctionne pas , il a fallu téléphoner quatre fois et attendre 20 minutes pour enfin être dépanné ! En rentrant dans l’appartement une fuite non épongée , pas d’eau chaude pas de serviette pas de torchon pas de café ....il a fallu attendre le lundi 22h00 pour avoir de l’eau chaude , le gérant a promis un geste commercial de deux nuits mais pour l’instant : rien ! Plus aucune nouvelle de Latido ! La sale de bain est également pleine de moisissures, aucune porte ne ferme correctement, la terrasse à besoin d’être repeinte et le canapé d’extérieur est inutilisable car gorgé d’eau !les ampoules du plafonnier ne fonctionne plus . Quel gâchis , un grand appartement, une belle situation .... et rien au niveau de l’entretien !

A nice and spacious apartment with some problems which need repair

The apartment is very nice, has a marvelous view from the veranda, a nice kitchen and nice furniture. The communication with the renting agency was efficient, although Rentexperience posed many conditions and regulations and compelled us to fill many forms before checking in, unlike the simple regulations of Homeaway. There are some items which need repair urgently. The curtain in the living room is stuck and does not cover the doors to the veranda, so the light penetrates the living room in the morning and disturbs the guests' sleep. In the bathroom the walls around the window suffer from erosion and need painting. The panel in the kitchen is not connected properly and is detached from its niche. If these problems are solved, the apartment will be perfect.

Security issues.

While the apartment is generally pleasant and spacious, prior tenants had damaged windows, bathroom cabinet door was missing and some window coverings damaged and had not been repaired. But most troubling was that we were not informed of security issues in the complex. We only became aware of this after a break in and robbery resulting in our loss of cash and jewelry. It appears a key was used to gain entry. Given the fact that there had been prior problems (per police), we should have been warned and a safe provided. The rental staff helped us contact the police and file a report. This incident has negatively impacted our Portugal vacation.

sehr schöne Ferienwohnung für 2 Personen

Die Wohnung entspricht den gezeigten Bildern und der Beschreibung. Die betreuende Vermittlungsagentur hat sich gut um zwei Probleme gekümmert und für prompte Abhilfe gesorgt. Die Dachterasse hatte im Juni 2016 bis in den späten Abend Sonnenschein. Die Klimaanlage ist bei den Wetterverhältnissen in Lissabon unabdingbar. Die Wohnung hat eine direkte Anbindung an die Tram 28e, die aber stets hoffnungslos überfüllt ist, sodaß wir den Weg zu Fuss zur Metrostation Baixa/Chiado (direkt in der Innenstadt) gewählt haben.Die Wohnung liegt im Stadtteil Bairro Alto, der Partymeile von Lissabon. Am Wochenende und an Feiertagen war dort bis zum frühen Morgen richtig viel Partylärm. Wenn man Probleme suchen möchte: Die Duschabtrennung über der Badewanne ist sehr klein geraten, sodaß bei Duschen der Großteil des Badezimmers naß wurde. Fazit: sehr schöne Wohnung zum Urlauben in Lissabon.

Unique Place to stay in a Unique City ;)

The communication with Ema was pretty easy and efficient. The residence and apartment is cleaned, pretty and nicely located. It´s fully equipped and with a large terrace offering a nice view on Santa Catarina. Quiet place, perfect place for visiting lisbon (tramway at 2min, Barrio Alto at 5min, baixa chiado, train station for cascais at 10min...)
