Mountain Home 15 minuter frÄn Boulder

Exakt 10. 0 mi. till Boulder centrum / 5. 8 mi. till norra Boulder. Ligger pÄ natursköna Lefthand Canyon. Vandra direkt frÄn trÀdgÄrden eller lyssna pÄ floden frÄn floden frÄn verandan! Njut av utomhusduschen om du besöker sommartid (och ofta finns det öl i kegeratoren ... kolla med mig innan du bokar om det Àr viktigt för dig!).

WiFi-nÀtverket och lösenordet och all husrelaterad information finns pÄ ett pappersark inuti huset. Huset har 2 queen size-sÀngar i det (sover 2 par). Dessutom finns en soffa (kan sova 1 extra om det behövs).

NÀr du lÀmnar, snÀlla ta bort lakan frÄn sÀngarna och placera dem pÄ golvet bredvid tvÀttmaskinen. VÀnligen ta med dig allt skrÀp och allt du placerade i kylen (jag vill inte ha gamla rester). Jag kommer att ta hand om Ätervinning, men skölj flaskor, burkar etc. innan du placerar föremÄl i ÄtervinningsbehÄllaren (plastlÄda i tvÀttstuga).

Observera: Familjer och mogna vuxna föredrar. Detta Àr min primÀra bostad och jag ser allvar pÄ att behandla den med kÀrlek och hÄlla den ren. Jag hoppas att mina AirBNB-gÀster kommer att behandla det som sitt eget hem.

Pros and Cons

Pros: nice, clean house. Plenty of space. 20 minutes from Boulder. Beautiful canyon location. One Con that turned into a Pro for me was disconnecting with a good book while we were there. Cons: No TV or microwave. Not many windows have curtains - which gives me the creeps at night. Close to road.

Great Stay in Great Place

Our stay at Erin's mountain home near Jamestown was really fantastic. The overall space is very well appointed and we loved that there were a couple of guitars hanging on the wall that are there to be played by her guests if they so choose. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals and there were plenty of spices in the spice rack that are available for use as well- along with coffee in the cupboard which was really a nice touch. The one bathroom is clean and roomy and easily shared with the other couple that was staying with us. What we really enjoyed was the outdoor shower behind the house. What a really nice surprise that was. The only thing I would change would be the fact that there was a motorcycle rally taking place somewhere in the general vicinity which meant there were a lot of very load motorcycles that came past the house early on Saturday morning. Because the house just sits off the road there was no way to avoid the sounds from motorcycles or trucks that passed by. I do highly recommend this mountain home. It is in a great area of Colorado, close to Jamestown, Boulder, and Lyons with lots and lots to do.

Beautiful and Peaceful

The cottage was great. The property is beautiful and feels remote, but close enough to Boulder to stroll, shop and eat. We were very comfortable in the cottage. It was different not having a microwave or hairdryer, but we made due. It was nice to disconnect. Tip: take a screen shot of the access code before you arrive. We didn’t have cell service with with T-Mobile or Verizon. Wi-Fi is available once inside. Also couldn’t find the outside trash cans. We finally figured out we needed to stash trash inside the garage, but there were still no trash cans to be found.

Cool little house

Nice cabin/house. Close enough to Boulder to go to lunch, dinner, shopping etc., but far enough away to seem remote. Excellent communication with owner.

Great mountain stay

Really lovely house in the quiet forest of the mountains. The deck is amazing to star gaze at night, and there is a creek across the street to cool one's feet on a hot day. We felt very comfortable at Erin's house, and really enjoyed our time. The kitchen had all the cooking and spice essentials for making meals. The drive to and from Boulder is absolutely beautiful- this is a gem!

Great location in a quiet mountain spot

Interesting property in a great location. Evenings were quiet and dark, just like wanted. Good location for visiting Boulder City, hiking trails in the area, and Rocky Mountain National Park.

Mountain Retreat

This home was everything we needed for a getaway! Beautifully located, away from the city but close enough to explore, access to hiking, felt like we were in a world all our own. Exactly what we needed! Great communication from the owner, very responsive.

Very relaxing

Absolutely loved staying here. And pleasantly surprised that it was better than expected (expectations were already high). I will say one thing, I did not plan for losing cell service and didn’t write down access codes before going into the mountains. This was a fault of mine—not the host. After that, everything went smoothly. Highly recommend!

Enjoyable retreat in the woods

We enjoyed our weekend stay in Jamestown. The woods and seclusion were wonderful. We could see stars through the skylights at night and deer through the windows in the morning. We do strongly recommend bringing a headlamp or flashlight not just for nightime access. The cabin is dimly lit. this makes great ambiance, but for aged eyes, made it challenging at times to see things. The kitchen and bathroom are well lit and comfortable. We will not hesitate to come back!

Lovely Jamestown Get-away

We really enjoyed our stay at this house outside of Boulder. From here we were able to visit with our daughter, see some of the sites around Boulder and enjoy the natural beauty of the area from the front porch and back deck. We loved it!

Above Boulder is Better

It was much cooler and more relaxed as a summer get away yet close enough to be able to enjoy Boulder and the mountains. The place was the right size and not so fussy that we didn’t feel relaxed as a family at theirs property. Our host made it all pretty seamless.

Lovely mountain hideaway

This was a such a wonderful spot for a restful and peaceful break in the mountains. It was 20 minute drive into Boulder, but we felt worlds away. The house is lovely with everything you need for a relaxing time away. We would love to return in the future for a longer stay!

Family time

We wanted a place to hang out with our incoming freshman and her BF while doing a little exploring of the area. The house was great-as felt remote but easy drive out of the canyon to Boulder and points around. We visited Boulder / Pearl Street and campus, Golden and RMNP. Was a relaxing location before the chaos of a college move in. Glad to have those few days!
