Beautiful property

A very comfortable apartment with all the amenities of home. The property was a beautiful farm with a very clean swimming pond complete with fountain, two diving boards, one low level and one much higher, and a water slide. My family and I absolutely loved it and will be looking to stay here again on our next trip to Lancaster county, I wouldn't stay anywhere else. We forgot to bring some toys and boardgames for the kids, this place had us covered with toys and games already in the unit. There's a swing set with climbing wall, tower, and a slide for the kids to play on as well. It was very spacious and had 3 AC units that helped keep us cool and comfortable while it was 85-100 degrees during our stay. The property owners were extremely nice and accommodating. My kids loved it here so much they were both sad and teary eyed when we left.

Working Farm Pristine Grounds Fantastic Stay

This was the absolute perfect stay for our Lancaster trip. In the heart of everything with amazing outdoor space. We loved the accommodations, the family and the grounds. We even got to take home a piece of the farm with buying some perennials on site. You will NOT go wrong booking here.

Peaceful location in Lancaster area

This was a peaceful place to stay. I was in the area as my Dad was not well. This was perfect. It would be a wonderful spot for anyone that wants to experience the area. I highly recommend this location The homemade bread was yummy.

Idyllic farmstay

This was the perfect retreat from which to explore Lancaster county. Suzanne and her lovely family were a kind, gracious and responsive hosts. The farm and garden are beautiful and the animals a treat. The apartment is super comfortable and kitchen is well equipped.

Our stay was wonderful

Our time at this farm was incredible it was a lovely location beautiful grounds and just peaceful and quiet. The family at the farm was wonderful they were soft-spoken pleasant people and I really enjoyed seeing them. Our experience there was like visiting family because we enjoyed seeing the people around the farm but if we didn't want to we didn't have to. We would definitely recommend staying at the garden thyme if you want to just find a place to relax and enjoy the beautiful area.

Perfect Getaway

If you’re looking for the perfect, quiet getaway this is it! (Even with a toddler we found peace) haha. I was so grateful that the home had toys for my kiddo as well as lots of animals to see around the owners farm. The home is 5-15 min from attractions which was perfect. Highly recommend!

Very Nice Place to Stay!

It was just exactly as the listing said! Comfy beds. Recliners! A full kitchen with an OVEN and STOVE TOP, pans, dishes, cups, and utensils. We only slept there so didn't get to see the gardens but did see the longhorn cattle and the OLD cemetery... The owner was very kind and helpful! Great rates!!

Great farm stay

We had a wonderful experience here. The space had everything we needed, Kuerig machine for coffee, pots, pans, utensils, clean linens! My one year old had a great time playing with the blocks and various toys, and we took her out one morning and walked over to the cows and pigs nearby! Also had a curious cat follow us the entire time as we walked the grounds! Thank you for a peaceful stay and for sharing your space with us!

Farm life

My family and I love to visit Lancaster every year and take part of the beautiful sceneries it has to offer. We always try to rent a home that makes us feel like we are a part of the lifestyle and culture the town offers. This home did exactly that as it sits in a working farm with an Amish family. It was well kept and stocked perfectly for us. Very clean with a warm welcoming feeling . Will strongly recommend

A taste of Lancaster

If you want to know what it like to stay on a beautiful farm with animals, landscaping and wonderful hosts, this is the place. From the fresh homemade bread to feeding the animals, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We wanted a place to stay that wasn’t a hotel to spend quality time with grandchildren and this was perfect. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you needed to make meals of you wanted to, very comfortable beds and plenty of room to relax. The hosts live on property and were not intrusive but available if needed. You can take full advantage of walking around the property, which we thoroughly enjoyed. Please know that this is a home built in the 1750’s so expect the charm that comes with the age of the house but with all the creature comforts needed. This was our first VRBO experience and was pleased with the entire process. The only negative I have was that it was too short a stay.

A peaceful getaway in Lancaster County

This was a wonderful location to explore Lancaster County and beyond. Only about 30 min to Strasburg and all of the rail adventures it has to offer. About 45 minutes away from beautiful French Creek State Park and 60-75 min to some of the Appalachian Trail acces points. The grounds are beautiful and hosts are welcoming. The kitchen is stocked with enough dishes, utensils and pots and pans to cook meals while appliances like a blender, microwave, coffee maker (coffee included) and toaster are present as well. Communication with the property manager prior to arrival was quick and easy. One thing worth mentioning for those traveling with small children is that the stairs leading up to the apartment are open upstairs and cannot be closed off, but the living room and bedrooms that open to the hall in front of the stairs/top of the stairs all have doors that can be closed. A pack-n-play for the smallest travellers is provided. All in all a beautiful farm emanating peace and allowing one to unplug. Thank you!

Mother/Daughter trip

This was exactly what I was looking for. Very peaceful and relaxing in the countryside. Mom is from Key West and is a quilter so she loves going to Lancaster county. We both bought quilts 25 years ago and she wanted to come back. Hosts were wonderful and so was the suite. You can't go wrong staying here.

This property is located close to everything! It is beautifully kept and it is a serene and quiet respite away from the hustle and bustle of the world but only a stones throw to all the action. Will definitely be staying there again in the future!

Amazing setup and grounds

Suzanne and her family were so inviting and helpful. The property and setup are perfect for travelers visiting the area and is near many amenities. Suzanne was even kind enough to find and mail back a ring that my young daughter must have dropped on the property. I cannot say enough great things. We will deft be back as renters!!!! City kids meet historic farm house!

The property was perfect. The house has so much charm. Our kids were surprised by the uneven floors, walls, and doors, they loved how unique the house was. The beds were very comfortable, as was all the furniture. We all had a great time exploring the farm. Fell in love with the kittens and baby cow.

So sweet and beautiful!

The property that Suze's and Matt on is incredibly picturesque! A real escape from the busyness of life from the gardens, to the Creek, pond and horses. Yet this property is so close to so many activities, restaurants, and tourist attractions. My family ended up leaving with one of their kittens that their mama cat had! The best ever souvenir you can leave with.
