Reviewer Comments: House is beautiful and well equipped with everything you need from great comfortable beds to beautiful decks overlooking the bay with great sunrises on one side and sunsets on the other. The layout of the house is very nice with lots of privacy in the bedrooms. The three bathrooms was definitely a plus with a party of seven. The quietness of the location was wonderful. Highly recommend to all, you will not be disappointed.

June vacation at Channel Breeze

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was as described and almost perfect for our week stay. The house was very clean and well stocked. There was a small glitch with the air conditioning but it was addressed and resolved within a day. The deck, laundry area, kitchen size, and outdoor shower area were great perks. There was a lot of small ant activity, particularly on the first floor. The youngest member of our party had a startling allergic outbreak of hives that caused concern for the first two days, but it was controlled with an increase in his allergy medication. It was unsettling because the cause was unknown. Based on the dog hair in the broom, we are guessing it was a reaction to a previous occupant's pet.

Reviewer Comments: The freezer did not work, the cleaning crew missed gum on a head board and the bedroom with a queen bed was never cold and the fan was very loud. The overall house was beautiful. It needed some maintenance repairs such as a shelf broken in the second floor bathroom closet and a wall dent on the second floor.

Ideal Vacation Home

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The size and layout of this home is absolutely wonderful, and accommodated our family of eight extremely well. We enjoyed the sea-related themes and artwork throughout, and the view overlooking the channel was pleasant and peaceful. The kitchen is very well-appointed, had everything we needed, and the availability of beach chairs and sand toys was a great asset.As others have noted, ants were an annoyance, and the freezer was unreliable. We were slightly disappointed that when the propane tank for the grill ran out, we would have had to take time to replace it ourselves. Overall, our stay at Channel Breeze was fantastic, and we would highly recommend this property to others.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Out family loved this house. Large enough to accommodate everyone with space to spare. The freezer would work and then not work. We lost 14 steaks because they froze and then unthawed and refroze. Costly. They did come to take a look but at that point it was working. Upstairs was a bit warm. Also had an ant issue. We swept the floors daily to keep the problem at a minimum. Overall a nice place.

To bad we can't find something in the area with the same number of bedrooms and baths but less steps getting to the main floor. The grandchildren and friends love being so near the dock for crabbing!! We will continue visiting Chincoteague and using your rental agency as both are superb.

Beautiful, quiet location

The way the house is laid out is ideal for a family or for four couples and the separate thermostats for upstairs and downstairs is a plus. I enjoyed drinking my morning coffee on the deck listening to the birds. Just be mindful the house is up on piling so there are a lot of stairs to climb with your belongings!

Great house!

We (two families with young kids) had a great stay at this house. Overall, it was a comfortable house that had enough seating (inside and out) and the kitchen was pretty well stocked. Our kids didn’t get to enjoy the backyard as much as we had hoped because it was extremely hot during our visit (heat advisory a couple of days) and we spent most of our time at the beach, but they did have fun playing in the backyard in the early mornings before it got too hot. Guests should be aware that the temperature in the house can be drastically different in the front and back rooms. The back rooms on both floors (living and dining rooms on the first floor and one of the second floor bedrooms) have large windows facing the afternoon sun and really heated up in the afternoons. Again, it was extremely hot during our stay and this might not be “normal” for the house, but we had the A/C set to 72 and the thermostat in the upstairs back bedroom read 82-84 a couple of afternoons. Downstairs was not as bad, 78 or so, and the three bedrooms in the front of the house were the correct temperature. In fact, the couple that stayed in the upstairs front bedroom were chilly at night! Otherwise, great house and Harbor Rentals was extremely easy to work with.

Very good possibility that we will make it back for a third time.We had four couples and it is amazing, you are never falling over one another. It is largeenough for everyone to have their own space. Very clean and in a great area to go any direction. We absolutely loved our stay here.

We had two families plus live together for and entire week and enjoyed every minute. Everything within the home was like new. The location is central to a lot of places that we visited and it was great to have a place to just come back to in the evening and relax. I would highly recommend this property to anyone wishing to visit Chincoteague Island, it was a dream!

Everything was very clean and amazing.

I will definitely stay here again with my family. My only recommendation is to add lighting above the showers in the bathrooms. It’s a tad dark when showering, but everything was comfortable, clean and amazing.
