I am so happy your family had a good time at our home!! When I bought the house I wanted it to be all of the things I would want in a vacation home. Through the years we have maintained that same theme making sure we do all we can so our guests enjoy their stay. My team does the rest to make sure the house is as spotless as it can be. Oh my Goodness, thank you so much!! you are the very first person to every bring up matching curtains and spreads.. My husband just took new photos of Wildwood and national parks and hung them in the hallway this year. We change and update every year to make our home the best possible place it can be.

I am so glad you enjoyed our home and hope you can stay with us again. After your feedback I had my staff check the grill and he sent me a photo of the one in the garage and that one was clean. He didn't get a chance to check the one in the back yard. I can tell you that before the season starts we take the grills apart and wash everything and then put it all back together. I will have to do a better job to let everyone know that it really is their responsibility if they use the grills to clean them. I do leave the utensils there to do that. Thank you for the suggestion as that detail will now be included with all of my check in details.

I am saddened people chose to lie on their lease so they can stay at your property. My lease is sent out within 24 hours of receiving bookings. The lease clearly states that this is a family home and no other age groups are permitted. During the course of the year I am thankful for young adults that are honest and share group sizes/ages. I continue to turn them down. However, when you sign my lease I assume that you have read the lease and are telling me the truth about the guests. Due to the condition the home was left in, we asked neighbors about them. They shared the information and I immediately contacted the person who signed the lease. Needless to say they never called me back. The next day I called, sent an email.. Once again they never called and only sent an email apologizing for the damage. Let me review the condition of my home when we cleaned prior to their arrival and how I found my home after this group left. It takes 4 hours for 3 people to clean under normal conditions, this year longer. We leave when everything is in perfect order. My check-in/out information provides guests with everything. It further outlines trash pickup which is around 8AM. I also have 2 signs in my garage stating the same things. There are 3 attachments about what I provide upon your arrival, check-in/out, WIFI details, etc., So back to the trash. they missed the 8am pickup. Instead of having just a few bags in the trash cans, they managed to fill up all of the trash cans and the recycle cans and left me with 6 additional bags that were left in the garage with No place to put them because 6 trash cans/ 3 recycle cans were full... Trash was NOT separated from Recycles so we went through the bags to separate. If I don't put the trash out in the right cans, they won't pick it up and I am also fined... Inside and outside of my home the smell of beer was disgusting. There was vomit in every bathroom.. Try cleaning that up.... I am not leaving quilts or pillows on beds this year, however, I left 2 quilts in the closet with 3 pillows. they sat in the closet in my main hallway all year.. no one touched them, except this group as they managed to walk off with them....It took 2 days to clean with 3 people. We also had the carpets shampooed due to beer being spilled all over them. I think you get the picture. I would suggest no one rents to this group ever!

I want to thank the wonderful tenants I have had through the years... I am very fussy and I decided from the very beginning that a cleaning firm that is there with 2 people for 1.5 hours was NOT going to clean my home as they surface clean only.. So I drive down the shore every Saturday morning to clean my home along with my cleaner. It takes us a minimum of 4 hours to actually clean the home.. I spend 1.5 hours alone in the kitchen. The cabinets are polished, everything in the cabinets are reviewed.. We find that people sometimes put dirty pots and pans in the cabinets and we have to take everything out of the cabinets and clean it... tenants are warned about that up front. All of the appliances on the counter are taken apart, cleaned and sprayed with stainless steel polish.. that includes cleaning out the crumbs in the toaster. The refrigerator, oven , cleaned and sprayed. The kitchen counter tops are cleaned three times. cleaned, wiped and then granite sprayed. Cabinets are polished. The floors are hardwood, they are mopped and then waxed. All three bathrooms take well over one hour to clean, mop, etc. There are NO Scuff marks on my walls. I also iron 2 of the quilts prior to leaving to make sure they are neat and presentable. When she called she stated there were a few crumbs, that as it turns out are actually part of one of the teddy bears stuffings we leave for the kids. I find her comments interesting because this tenant left my home in a less than desirable condition. Half the pots were burned and really greasy so we threw out 5 pots and I replaced them. All of the utensils and dishes were put back in the drawer full of grease. There wash lipstick marks on the glasses. All of this had to be put back in the washer to clean. The bathrooms had urine stains around the toilets and walls on the main floor. Worse yet, there was chocolate stains on the furniture, spindles on the stairway and the couch and other areas throughout the home. This alone took almost an hour to clean. My cleaner and I , pride ourselves on presenting a clean home, which is why I drive down every Saturday. No other owner does this. Before leaving I walk through the home to make sure everything is in pristine condition. This family reported something that goes against my nature to leave my home unclean and not only that they then turned around and left my home in a filthy condition. They are NOT welcome back.
