Quiet & Convenient Cabin

Great place to use as a base for exploring the area, or just stay put, stretch out and relax. Has everything you need as well as accommodating hosts.

Nice cozy spot in Cabot and well stocked. Jennifer was very accommodating and communicative. I would definitely stay here again.

Country Getaway

Charming Country Cabin

I really enjoyed my stay. The cabin was very clean, and much more spacious than what I expected. This is the perfect cabin for a single person, a couple, or 2 people who know each other well as the sleeping areas do not close off from the rest of the cabin. I'll stay here again the next time I'm in the area.

The house was just as described, very cozy and old school. Nice amenities by the owners. The only semi-complaint was how far out it was in relation to our friends we were visiting. Lots of dirt roads - picturesque but not speedy to get anywhere.

Thank you so much for your very postiive review! I would note that we are about 5-10 minutes from the village of Cabot, as well as the paved roads (RT 215) but it is always a good idea to check where you want to stay compared to where you plan to visit since Vermont is a small state, but from the south to north border, it can still take several hours :)

Cozy Cabin

Cute, historic cabin nestled in the beautiful hills of Vermont. We enjoyed the well appointed space with little homey touches throughout. The kitchen had everything we needed. We also enjoyed the outdoor area of this property. The host really made us feel welcome in this comfortable space. Easy to communicate with too!

Charming stay in a beautiful place

We were in town for a family event and found the cabin to be a lovely and interesting spot for our stay. It was a rainy weekend, but it cleared enough for a couple of beautiful walks down the country road. The host provided some a bit of food in the fridge, including some famous Cabot cheese!! Hope to visit again in the fall!

I could plaster this review with superlatives - quiet setting, beautiful surroundings, a front porch that is perfect in sunshine or rainy weather. The home has old farmhouse charm that is so unique. My goal on this getaway was to have quiet spot for some soul searching, and to be close to nature as I am a wildlife photographer hobbyist and someone who is longing to find a retirement spot in the country. This area checks all the boxes for me. If you want country, you have it here - nice folks, dairy farms close by, cows will sing for you occasionally, and if you are a birder - you've found your getaway. You won't have mountain views off your porch, but you will have spectacular views if you walk 1/2 mile in either direction. Plenty of awesome places to visit from here so - you cant go wrong. The owners are communicative and so helpful with local info. It was a wonderful stay, didn't want to leave. Lord willing, I will be back.

Cabot cabin

Fine for a couple only, maybe a small child, but it is small! Check your weather report—we knew there was no air conditioning, but unfortunately the week we were there was 90 and humid.

Our house is perfect for a couple and while we do have an extra bed, it is an open floor plan. My memory is that you told us that two of you were coming in your reservation but in speaking with you, apparently you were planning to have three extra guests stay, because you were under the mistaken impression that our cabin was larger than it was despite our guest limit of three. This is confusing as we try to be as clear as possible to manage expectations. As for the air conditioning, no - we don't have any and as we are in the higher elevations so this is generally not an issue.

Vermont Cabin

The cabin was what one might expect in Vermont and it didn’t disappoint. The setting was on a dirt road as most of Vermont roads are. It was nicely packed and not dusty. Neighbors were not close by, it was very quiet. The cabin was clean and stocked well. The extra necessities were a pleasant surprise and appreciated. Communication from Jennifer, the owner was excellent. I recommend this Vermont Cabin!
