Blissful is an understatement!

I would recommend this little piece of Heaven to everyone. It was the coziest place and the views were breathtaking. A perfect little weekend getaway that we will do again

Chesapeake Getaway

The cottage is very nice and you can tell the quality of the construction and furnishings the master bed was wonderfulb to sleep in, for both me and my wife .The surroundings are exceptionally quite and serene

Relaxing stay at the Chesapeake Bay

Blissful Retreat is a wonderfully appointed, lovely cottage just outside of Rock Hall. The host anticipated our every need. We spent time exploring the area; reading on the front porch facing the water; and birding right outside the cottage. We hope to return.

Weekend at the Dollhouse

Dollhouse paradise... Private,Quiet, Tranquil, ...Simply Blissful!!!Highly Recommend! Location is convenient to local grocery store and quaint town. The Flying Decoy restaurant is a must! So many added personal touches including personalized Blissful umbrellas which came in handy! The view from the loft upstairs bedroom is serene. Love love love the layout and pool table. We also loved walking in to Yacht Rock Radio playing in the background. We plan to come back for another getaway again

Peaceful, idyllic, luxurious

Charming house with privacy and woods/water views. Very relaxing from first arrival and the house is beautifully appointed and comfortable. Tiny kitchen but room in the freezer and oven for the 12" pizza we happened to bring. Pool table was an unusual and welcome addition! All the luxury comforts including robes and slippers in the spa bathroom. Kind hosts have lots of info about local places, which was especially useful for weekday visits, Highly recommend and will return!

BR is truly a quiet place to be. Only a short drive from Rock Hall, this is a great place especially for bikers looking for quiet roads right outside.

Perfect retreat

We had a lovely long weekend at Blissful Retreat! The place was immaculately clean and comfortable. There were lots of nice extras like teas, coffees, yogurt, baked goods, and snacks. The setting for the home is private and quiet in a lovely wooded area with a view of the water. We had a short drive to restaurants, the little beach, and boats. We look forward to staying there again!

Blissful Retreat !

My sister and I enjoyed another lovely stay at the beautiful, peaceful, and comfortable BR cottage. We visited St Michaels and Chestertown. We relaxed, read, walked, bird watched, and played pool. We also enjoyed yummy steamed crabs 🦀 🦀🦀. We look forward to visiting again soon. Thank you !

Amazing stay

Blissful Retreat is one of the most tranquil places we know of. The property is so quiet, the water view is amazing & then the wildlife is spectacular! We saw at least 6 eagles soaring overhead right from the front yard. Just breathtaking! And the cottage is so beautiful. Barbi thinks of everything to enhance your stay. Looking forward to our next visit

Nice WE on Eastern Shore

Very nice cottage and location. Pristine condition. Mind that there is only a kitchenette, but there are many good dining options in Rock Hall nearby. No laundry equipment. We appreciated the bikes, the pool table, the EV charger and the bath / shower equipment.

Peaceful and Relaxing

Wonderful, beautiful, and serene property. House was beautiful, very clean, and well furnished. The owners provided detailed instructions on the various amenities within the home which made the experience more enjoyable. A personalized note was left upon check in which provided information on a must see farmers market nearby. All in all this was a wonderful experience and home to visit again one day.

Wonderful stay with welcoming hosts

If I could give this stay more than 5 stars, I would. Beyond the property being beautifully decorated and in a peaceful, serene environment, our hosts went above any beyond to make us feel welcome and anticipate all our needs. The snacks were incredibly appreciated and a much needed bottle of wine was awaiting us after a long day of triathalon! Plus, it was so nice to see our hosts in town volunteering at the event we were visiting for. I Would love to stay here again and enthusiastically recommend it to others!

Great Get Away!

Blissful Retreat was very neat and clean. We enjoyed he goodies left for us and also seeing the wildlife outside. (The rabbits, family of deer and even a snapping turtle!) The steam shower was a plus. However, seating could have been better for viewing the TV. A couple of easy chairs to rest your head would have been nice. All and all, Blissful Retreat was a great get away!

Absolutely Blissful

My husband and I enjoyed are stay very much. This is one of the cleanest and most relaxing places we have stayed in. The views from the master bedroom are so beautiful and we enjoyed the front porch as well. The personal touches, decor, and steam shower were amazing. We enjoyed Rock Hall and Chestertown exploring. Thumbs up for Waterman's and Osprey Point for wonderful dinners. A great place for a long weekend. The bar kitchen suited our needs just fine since we had no desire to cook any meals ourselves. We hope to be back.

Peace and Relaxation

The name of this location, Blissful Retreat, says it all. This was the perfect place for a peaceful and relaxing weekend getaway. The house was immaculately clean, and every detail imaginable was tended to with care. The steam shower was awesome, and enjoyed the comfy robes provided. Barbi left wine and snacks for us to enjoy. There is a great pool table and wifi speakers throughout the house for playing music. The bed was super comfortable, and you get to wake up to a beautiful water view out the window. We had some lovely deer come to visit a couple times to the front yard while we were there too.

Blissful Indeed

The blissful retreat had so many wonderful little extra details that just made the stay so relaxing and enjoyable. It was a very relaxing and refreshing stay unplugged. We will definitely return to this property. If I had ti change one thing it would be that the windows would have shades or darker curtains. I struggle to sleep if it is not dark and neither bedroom was. That said though, w no curtains, the view is beautiful.
