The property and guest suite were great. Small which is as advertised. We brought our toddler and the hosts provided an extra chair for them. They were also so sweet aboit showing us all around, even offering our toddler a chance to feed some of the animals. And us too.

We love staying at the farm, this was our third time! So peaceful and quiet being surrounded by beautiful farmland. The pool is great and Emily is such a gracious host. We especially love the farm animals including the cutest farm cats!

This was the perfect little cottage and the hosts made us feel right at home. Located in a beautiful setting, surrounded by farmland and a quaint countryside. We were even greeted by the family cats and dipped our toes in the pool. Thank you for an absolutely wonderful getaway!

We want to come back!

I stayed here with my kids and had a calm and peaceful visit. There was plenty of space, the kitchen had just what we needed, and Emily was very kind and helpful.

This was a nice getaway from hustle and bustle. It was fun to be able to visit with the animals and give them a few treats. The host provided little “extras” that made you feel at home.

Perfect Stay for a Wedding Weekend!

This was the perfect stay for our one night in town for a wedding! The place was super clean, had everything we needed, and feeding the goats was such a fun bonus. Emily was so accommodating and let us check in early, which helped a ton with our plans. Would definitely recommend!

Best vacation ever!!

We haven’t been on a vacation in years and truly needed one. Everything was perfect! We even had a loaf of fresh bread and a jar of Pennsylvania honey waiting for us. The sounds of the farm brought back memories and after the rain finally stopped the time relaxing around the farm was so restful. We will be back!

Great place to stay

The host was super friendly and shared lots of information. It was fun to walk around and visit the animals on the farm. There was even a little jar of crackers on the doorstep to use to feed the goats. Beautiful farm, very clean cottage with ample room for the two of us, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Unaware of where the road was going to lead us. We pulled up to a very cozy homie atmosphere. The guest house accommodations were very comfortable and made you feel that it was a home away from home.

Farm, River, History

The farm wonderfully served as a home base for exploring the Columbia/Marietta area along the banks of the Susquehanna. The apartment, connected to the house, but with a room separating the apartment from the main living quarters, was quiet, homey, plenty spacious, and as private as one would want. The hosts were very nice, very accommodating and welcoming. The farm is not far from Columbia, Marietta or Lancaster, and is on top of a hill with great views in every direction, and a good place for sky gazing. It was so much fun returning to the farm and all the animals - goats, sheep, turkeys, chickens, and ducks - after a long day doing outdoor stuff, mostly hiking the trails along the river, and exploring the remnants of the 19th-century furnaces and other industrial history of the area. Walking around Columbia was cool too. It was a very fun place to hang out. Highly recommended!

Perfect getaway

Our stay was perfect! The space was so cozy and comfy. Emily was super sweet and attentive. The highlight of our stay were the baby lambs born on our day of arrival and another set on our day of departure so cute! I would definitely come back here and recommend this to anyone looking for a relaxing, quiet getaway. Thank you.
