Vi har en yogastudio på fastigheten och erbjuder gratis daglig yogakurser till alla gäster måndag till lördag. Vi är 10 minuter till centrala West Jefferson eller Blue Ridge Parkway entré, 1/4 mil till Elk Shoals Beach och 30 minuter till Boone NC. Well maintained cabin with privacy, every comfort, great amenities & a very responsive & informed host. Would stay there again. They have a yoga studio with classes on the property but unfortunately did not take advantage of it.

Peaceful Perfection

This place is just good for the soul! We spent a great deal of time on the porch listening to "nature's symphony". There's nothing better than morning coffee on the front porch in the mountains. Frank & Jeannine were extremely accommodating & hospitable. I even participated in a yoga class taught by Frank (even though I didn't know much about yoga). But I must admit it was a good way to follow up morning coffee. However, my husband opted for a 2nd cup on the porch (no yoga for him...ever lol). The cabin was clean & neat as a pin. The kitchen had all the necessities and was a perfect size. Even though you feel secluded and surrounded by all nature has to offer, it's only a short drive to our favorite town of West Jefferson. We will definitely be back since this little gem offers the best of both worlds (relaxation & rejuvenation close proximity to the best town on the planet)! Thank you for allowing us to hit the reset button and take a pause from the "chaos" of life. :)

Perfect weekend getaway.

Memorial Day getaway

Loved the seclusion and the road wasn't very difficult to access. Cabin was perfect size with all the amenities we needed. Communication with owner was very good. Would definitely stay here again

Quiet respite in the woods

What a lovely property! Quiet, great location, well furnished and comfortable - the perfect base for enjoying local attractions, the great outdoors, and to sit on the porch to listen to the River go by. The hosts are wonderful folks. The yoga studio offers class participation for a nominal fee; didn’t get to do that this time. This is our second stay and we’ll be back again. Thanks for everything!

Wonderful Getaway Place

We had a great stay! The cabin was just right for two people and had all the amenities to make our stay comfortable. We especially enjoyed the nice front porch.

Cozy cabin

Really cute and cozy cabin! Very clean and great location. It’s at the top of a steep driveway. Keep that in mind when booking your stay there. Otherwise it was a great experience.

Perfect Getaway!

This little log cabin was exactly as described by the wonderful owners and everyone who reviewed it. Secluded but close enough to town, set in a beautiful wooded area, very near a large running creek and state park. The leaves were doing their gorgeous change-over and it was spectacular! The house is appointed very nicely, simply. Beautiful wood walls and floors. Comfortable sofa and chairs in the living room with a TV. Kitchen had EVERYTHING you need to have a dinner or snacks. SUPER CLEAN!! Small bathroom with a shower and plenty of hot water and nice thick towels. Very pretty bedroom with the added bonus of a small jacuzzi which we loved. The driveway coming up to the house is a little scary for a Nissan Rogue but if you keep going and don't stop you'll get up there! Frank and Jeannine were terrific hosts. Highly recommend this little mountain getaway. Don't forget to visit the historic town of W. Jefferson. Lots of great antique stores, crafts and the famous cheese factory! People super friendly. Thank you so much for letting us relax in your beautiful home.

Great cabin

This was a very clean, comfortable cabin in a great location. All it needed to make it perfect was a view. If a few trees were cut down, I believe there would be a beautiful view of the river. And I agree with the person who said getting up the steep drive was a bit tricky - tires spun on gravel. Overall, a great place!

Perfect Weekend Getaway

Everything about this little cabin was perfect for our weekend away. (Call me crazy) I am one who always brings Clorox wipes everywhere I go and the cabin was immaculately clean, I didn’t even feel the need to wipe stuff down! Very much appreciated. The location was quiet but still very close to all the activities in West Jefferson and Boone. Would absolutely recommend this place to friends & we look forward to staying again soon!

Nice, Clean, Comfortable Cabin

Great little house. Driveway is "slipping and skipping" with only front wheel drive, in August. Pictures are dated and "Cabin with River View" is not right--river can not be seen in August form this cabin.

Peace, Quite and Salad

Just came back from a wonderful 5 night stay outside of West Jefferson, NC. Cabin was great, in a secluded area that was actually quite close to town. About a 12 minute drive to town, but the road is winding. If you want peace and quirt with a small dose of relaxing river sounds this is the place for you. Perfect for two people. Kitchen was well equipped with new appliances and all that you would need for cooking meals. Front porch has rockers and comfy chairs.Heat and air worked well. This is just a really fun place. Owners were very helpful and believe it or not offered home grown salad greens on our second night. Did I mention it is not far from the Blue Ridge Parkway and just up the hill from the New River. Great VRBO experience.

great place

Great location in regards to town, grocery store, restaurants, etc. Fortunately, we had excellent weather, had it been raining or snowing I think we would have needed a 4-wheel drive vehicle to ascend the drive to the cabin. Owners were extremely courteous & helpful. The bed was comfortable which is always a plus. Only drawback was the den furniture was not vey comfortable for hanging around the cabin. Overall though, very nice, serene & comfortable.
