Det ligger i Deer Mountain Resort, bara 15 minuters bilresa från centrala Deadwood, men ligger på 5 tunnland i träden. Utsikten är vacker från någon av de 3 olika nivådäcken. Den nedre våningsdäcken har bubbelbadet, perfekt för de kalla vinternätterna eller de kalla sommarkvällarna. Det finns ett 2 bil garage bredvid stugan för din användning medan du är där.

Kabinen ligger i norra centrala Black Hills, en 45 min. resa tar dig till Custer-området och Mount Rushmore, men skynda dig tillbaka, Spearfish Canyon ligger bara 4 miles söder, en av de mest natursköna enheterna i bergen. Great place for a family vacation!

We stayed here for a family Xmas vacation. We had 13 people. We were all very comfortable. Comfy beds. Lots of couches to spread out on. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook several large meals. Hot tub was AMAZING! We had a great time and would definitely book again!

Sturgis Bike Trip w/Friends

This home was absolutely gorgeous, adequate room and well-equipped for our group of ten. We didn't get to use the deck or grain bin bar as we had wanted, too much riding each day, but they are a plus. A trip to this area definitely needs more than a week to see all the sites! We so enjoyed our time. Thanks for making our stay memorable!

Very beautiful place to stay!

Had my children and grandkids there for a family reunion. This was the perfect place as we had 14 people and there was more than enough room for everyone. The views from the deck are exceptionally beautiful. It's like you can see forever. The hosts Scott and Dawn are wonderful to work with.

Exceptional VRBO

So well provisioned. We had 11 people and we easily cooked most of our meals at the cabin. Every kitchen appliance, pot and pans, a lot of cups and glasses were provided, very easy to cook and serve at this cabin. All the separate and equally nice rooms made it so easy for a large group. Our teenagers hung out downstairs. They hooked up the Xbox to the big TV and had a good time. It kept the noise away from the adults. Thank you for a wonderful getaway!!

We have stayed in several properties in the Black Hills and this one has been the best one so far! Great place for families! You can see the most beautiful sunrises from any of the three patios! Highly recommend this one!!!

Great family vacation

We can’t say enough about our stay here. The cabin was beautiful and very well taken care of, the location was perfect, and we made some of our families best memories yet. Our host was amazing and very responsive. They checked in on us when the weather turned unpredictable and made sure we were all taken care of. Our whole group agreed that we would 11/10 recommend staying here!

Beautiful Place & Relaxing

We had a friend group of 5 couples stay at this property and it was such a fun stay. The deck was great feature to dine outside and hang out. We had a great time and it’s right by all the fun ATV/UTV trails which we did partake in. The driveway up to the place seems super steep and intimidating at first but plenty of room to park a few trailers and vehicles. Highly recommend staying here!! It’s close to lead and deadwood just a few miles away. Would love to come back here!

The house was beautifully decorated and and had the perfect layout for a large group. We appreciated the ample parking for 6 trucks and 5 trailers. We had a blast riding the many gorgeous utv trails close by.

Family Getaway

The Big Sky Cabin provides a relaxed environment with beautiful scenery. The kids loved exploring around the cabin and seeing wildlife (deer, turkeys, ground squirrels, and plant-life). The location made it easy to travel to nearby activities and sites. The cabin was complete with great amenities including dishes, pots, pans, kitchen appliances which allowed us to do a lot of cooking at the cabin. The hot tub was a highlight for our grandsons! This was the first time all five of our children, significant others and grandkids were together for a vacation and we had a great time. Thank you for sharing your beautiful cabin with us. This is the place to stay in the Black Hills

House is more than advertised. Can't say enough about it. Plenty of room for the 10 of us. Fully furnished with whatever you would need for a vacation with family and friends. Kitchen had everything and more needed to cook meals. Everything was spotless and clean. The owners Scott and Dawn where more than accommodating. We had the pleasure of having a drink with them. They helped with all of the local places to go. (Great People) This is the place to stay if you are visiting the back hills for motorcycling or just vacationing. Will definitely be back

Amazing place

The place was amazing. Just as expected. Nice location with an incredible view. All the wives raved on the decor. All 10 of us agreed we would definitely stay there again. The owners were amazing in answering questions and helping with anything we needed. Great location for riding the trails in the area. Thanks again!

Winter weather isnt always the funnest... my family and I were looking forward to going to this beautiful cabin and the weather permitted us from doing so... we will though in fact be renting it again and trying it again... dawn was awesome to work with and is one of the best people to work with...

Beautiful location, lovely cabin. Centrally located but feels very private.

The kitchen is very well equipped to allow visitors to prepare any meal they might want to make, especially during winter holiday season when restaurant choices are limited.

Hi - we are Scott and Dawn Bauer. We live and work in North Dakota. We escape reality and play in South Dakota.
We really weren't looking to buy a cabin (yet). But, all the signs pointed to us buying this cabin. We absolutely love it!
We fell in love with the Black Hills going side by siding and snowmobiling with our family and friends. It is a different adventure each time. We hope you enjoy our family's cabin as much as we do!

We fell in love with it the moment we walked in the door. It has a unique floor plan and is the perfect cabin for our family with 6 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The views off the three levels of decks are amazing!
