Hus på den magnifika stranden Arenal d'en Castell ligger på norra kusten av Menorca. Denna fastighet två våningar har nyligen renoverats i en sjöman design, mycket i linje med dess läge vid stranden. På bottenvåningen finns ett vardagsrum med ett öppet kök och frukost bar som leder ut på en spektakulär terrass med utsikt över stranden, ett sovrum med dubbelsäng, ett tvåbäddsrum och badrum. På översta våningen finns en fristående lägenhet med separat tillgång, som består av ett kök, matsal med liten terrass och dubbelrum med dubbelsäng och badrum. Fastigheten har fans på bottenvåningen och luftkonditionering i lägenheten på övervåningen med TV och DVD-spelare på båda våningarna. Njuter dessa härliga vyer med endast det turkosa havet för företag är ett nöje inte får missa.
Arenal d'en Castell ligger på 20 km på väg från huvudstaden Mahón, med dess stora hamn och dess internationella flygplats. Urbanisationen har fullt omfattande faciliteter och många gröna och sport utrymmen. Likaså har det buss och taxi, samt restauranger, barer, pubar, apotek, vårdcentral, bank, biluthyrning kontor etc.
Denna vik är en idealisk plats att njuta av några dagar med din familj eller för att tillbringa en lång semester samtidigt öva din favoritsport: golf, segling, vattenskidor, dykning, vindsurfing etc. Son Parc Golf Club ligger bara 10 minuter bort med bil och Yachting Marina Port Addaya ligger bara 5 minuter från urbanisationen. Stranden i Arenal d'en Castell är ett vackert skal formad vik på nästan 1 km lång, med kristallklart vatten och fin sand. Det är särskilt lämpligt för barn, tack vare det genomskinliga vattnet och lugnet om det är möjligt.

Perfect location for a beach holiday!

The apartment was extremely well situated. It is on the beach front and has a large patio overlooking the beach. There are quite a few steps down to the beach and steps up to the little supermarket, so you do need to be OK with steps. There are plenty of restaurants in easy reach. It is also easy to visit Mahon on the bus, if you should want a change of scenery. The apartment was clean and tidy and downstairs was well stocked with everything you might need. If you are upstairs, you will need to borrow the hair drier to dry your hair or kettle for a coffee. It might be an idea to have a kettle in the annex so people upstairs can do a themselves a cuppa in the morning and last thing at night without having to go outside and downstairs to get it. The kettle downstairs in very small and boils quite slowly plus only boils enough for three cups. I read the reviews and it mentioned umbrellas and beach umbrellas and beach toys. We could not find these and so we have left a lilo and a beach umbrella for the use of the next visitors, as it was too much effort to take them home. Maybe if the next person buys a bucket and spade and leaves it, there will be beach toys for children available again. We may have missed them somewhere. We had a lovely holiday and would recommend this apartment to anybody who is looking for a relaxing beach holiday, especially with children.

La casa es preciosa no solo la decoración sino que no falta nada hasta el último detalle uno se se siente como en casa. La cala es una de las mas bonitas y tranquila con un par de restaurantes exquisitos y un servicio excelente. Supermercado,estanco, farmacia,asistencia medica no falta nada. Marta mi contacto con la agencia excelente muy competente, servicio muy rápido y perfecto. Repetiremos seguro. Muchisimas gracias por todo.

Great Location

This property is in a perfect location, but parking can be very difficult due to all of the beach traffic. It was difficult to find parking close to the condo and, once when we did, our car was blocked in for an entire day. The terrace is really the highlight of this condo as it looks over the beach as the photo’s show. There is a supermarket nearby so we found it easy to buy groceries and have dinner on the terrace most night’s with the best view of the bay! Couple downsides: Wi-Fi did not reach to upstairs bedroom, only one set of towels for each guest for the entire week and very flat pillows. We also did not find the place to be as clean as most VRBO’s we have stayed. Could use a deep cleaning which would help with the ants.

Hébergement dans un lieu exceptionnel

Très bon logement, avec une vue incroyable sur la baie, plage très accessible, pas de rue devant la terrasse. Excellent endroit pour des vacances en famille. Nous y reviendrons sans aucun doute !! Idées d'amélioration : ventilateur un peu bruyant dans le séjour, pas possible de le couper car il est couplé à celui de la chambre des enfants, pas de clim au rez-de-chaussée donc il faut laisser les ventilateurs fonctionner en permanence.

Wonderful location for a young family with grandparents

The location of the apartment was perfect for a family with 2 young children, being right on the beach and close to several restaurants for the evening. What a view! It was great returning within a minute from the beach. The upstairs annexe was good for grandparents, a space away when needed. We had a family situation which was resolved within 2 hours by the management team.

Super séjour

L’état de la propriété est parfait : propreté, état de fonctionnement, équipement complet et literie au top! L’avantage de cette propriété est la capacité à avoir 2 logements séparés de façon autonome (cuisine, salle de bain) pour en faire un coin enfants et un coin parents ou dans mon cas séparer les 2 familles monoparentales. La terrasse du logement principal (rdc) est superbe par contre celle du logement à l’étage n’est pas adaptée pour y séjourner (parfait pour faire sécher les maillots et serviettes).

We had a great stay at this apartment

We had a great stay at this apartment. It was very clean and have a home feeling. It has absolutely everything you need: plenty of kitchen and dining room equipment, lots of toys for kids which made our 3 year old son very happy and kept him busy. There are umbrellas for the rainy days ( luckily we didn’t need them), beach umbrella and a few beach toys. The shower outside was very handy to wash the sand of feet before coming inside. And beach towels were provided as well for everyone! The position of apartment is brilliant- only a few steps and you are on the lovely beach. The balcony is superb with great views over the bay and plenty of seating. The communication with the owner was brilliant. The apartment was ready for us the day before our arrival and we were allowed to check in early in the morning. In overall we definitely recommend this apartment for families and everyone who wants to have an enjoyable holiday!

Amazing property

This property was perfect for us. We are an extended family of 6 (Grandpa, Grandma, Mom, Dad, a 4 year old, and a 1 year old.) The view from the deck is exactly as pictured, maybe even more beautiful than pictured. We had breakfast and lunch on the deck every day. The house was immaculate and had comfortable, nice furniture. The walls were decorated with lovely paintings.There were 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms on the main floor. One bedroom had a trundle bed and many beautiful toys for the children. The children actually squealed with delight when they first entered their room. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pots and pans, a toaster, coffee pot, stove, microwave and a large refrigerator. The small upstairs apartment is air conditioned and has a deck, a washer and drier, a kitchenette, a sitting room and a bedroom and a bathroom. We could walk to the grocery store, a souvenir shop and to many restaurants. The beach is a family beach and very clean. There are beach chairs, kayaks and paddleboats to rent. Parking is very limited, but we were lucky to find a place in the closest lot. The only problem we had was making the payment for the property. The owner wanted to be paid by bank transfer. However, HomeAway sent generic directions for rental payment by credit card, when they actually just charged the HomeAway booking fee on the credit card. That was confusing, and I hope HomeAway sends clearer instructions in the future for properties that are to paid for by bank transfer. We loved our vacation here and felt fortunate to have found such a wonderful property .
