Välkommen till din mysiga stuguthyrning i södra Alberta! Ett perfekt par reträtt. Beläget på en yta minuter sydost om historiska Fort Macleod, i den lugna byn Orton. En timmes bilresa från Waterton Lakes National Park eller den historiska Crowsnest Pass, och 25 minuter från Lethbridge. Njut av lugnt och lugnt land med snabb tillgång till motorvägen (på asfalterade vägar) till alla de vackra attraktionerna i området. Kabinen är elektriskt uppvärmd och bekväm i varje säsong.

Ett vackert och kreativt färdigt litet hus konstruerat och byggt för att ge alla bekvämligheter i hemmet medan du är hemifrån. Utrymmet är idealiskt för ett par, men rymmer också några barn.

Stugan ligger på vårt areal ca 100 meter från huvudbyggnaden. Du har tillgång till din egen privata uteplats och däck och har en dedikerad parkeringsplats på vår stora uppfart. Det finns cyklar tillgängliga om du vill cykla våra tysta landsvägar.

Vi bor i den lugna byn Orton, några minuter från Fort Macleod på asfalterade vägar. Våra arealer är rymliga med djup utsikt över prärierna hela vägen till Rocky Mountains i fjärran. Njut av att promenera och cykla på de lugna landsvägarna eller koppla av på verandaen, lyssna på fåglar och syrsor och kanske få en glimt av en unik djurlivs-besökare eller en underbar prärie-solnedgång.

Great tiny home

Cozy, comfortable, and featuring every possible amenity that could fit in a small space. This quiet cottage is perfect if you want to get away from the chaos of the city and enjoy great nights of sleep, a hot tub, or just binge watch your favorite show. I wish I had more than a weekend to spend there. Would definitely go back.

Ideal property!

We happily give a 5 on everything and wish everyone could experience this perfect tiny house with all the big boxes checked (comfort, easy in/out, great hosts) and SO many extra surprises, like fresh eggs and milk, snacks, drinks and the most beautiful property. The hosts have such thoughtfulness for details! The hot tub was so relaxing, private and much needed after a long day’s drive. This place is a gem and we would have loved to stay longer at this carefully designed and decorated inside and out, feels-like-home cottage!

Country getaway

We stayed here for two nights and it was amazing! The cabin was well appointed and had more than enough items to be comfortable. It was cozy and we thoroughly enjoyed the quiet and being able to have an evening hot tub and enjoy the night sky. We would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a nice quiet getaway and we intend to visit again in the near future. Thank you for your hospitality!

A little piece of paradise

Such an amazing place to stay! So close to so many tourist attractions within an hours drive away. After your day of sightseeing, return home to relax on your own private patio with a glass of wine. Enjoy the hot tub to chill in……or just enjoy the country life of quiet times and stars in the sky. Enjoy an afternoon bike ride, bbq your supper and sit around the fire. At the end of your day crawl into a super comfortable bed and get a great nights sleep. If your super lucky the sweetest little kitten will come and say hello to you! A great place to stay, we will be back 😉

Unique relaxing stay

The rural setting of Prairie Rose is perfect. It is a short drive into historic Fort MacLoud and within easy driving distance to Head Smashed In Buffalo Jump. We really enjoyed the outdoor space as well as the adorable cottage.

The hosts thoughtfulness is what makes this stay special

We were surprised at how warm and welcoming this stay was. You can tell ALOT of care and work went into designing this space. The cottage itself is everything you need but it's the hosts that make it exceptional. Everything from the fresh eggs and milk in the fridge to providing free fire wood, these folks have a heart of hospitality. They were very responsive to our needs and have filled this place with so much love (not just an IKEA decor cut out). We were also taken back by the location, we loved spending time outside in the evening under the blanket of stars. Wow (only set back was it took a bit to find the place but then again we also arrived after dark)

Tranquil Retreat

Home away from home

This quaint little cabin is nestled on a large property where you can hear roosters and dogs and it made me smile. The sunrises and sunsets are absolutely breathtaking. It’s quiet and peaceful if you want to get of the city, I’d definitely recommend and would come back.

Hi, we are a couple who love the Alberta prairies and quiet country living. We've been happily married for 31 years and have 5 children, and 4 grandchildren. John has spent many years as a carpenter and renovator and Jacquelien loves decorating and home decor. The cabin was a fun project of designing, building and decorating together to provide a comfortable guesthouse for our parents who live in BC and come to visit several times a year. We recently decided to receive other guests to our cabin. and look forward to meeting many new people. We also enjoy yard work and gardening.
