everything we could have asked for

perfect location, proximity to amenities and right on the beach, heated pool, amazing sunsets, well decorated, very clean, all our needs were met for 2 adults and 2 children.

Charming stay with stunning views!

Lovely place, with beautiful views! Open kitchen, clean and beautifully decorated! Has toys, chairs and umbrella for the beach which was a plus with our little kids! Just an elevator down and your on the beach, convenient location to good restaurants and shopping center, close to Publix! Would definitely come back again!

Amazing view great location

Just step away from the beach, nice view of the beach, very good host, everything needed for the stay was already there in the unit. Beach chair, surfboard, and almost everything.

Our stay

This was our first trip to Flordia, we loved every minute of it. The room was clean, had everything we needed for our week stay. Laundry was located on the floor which was also nice. We will definitely be back and recommend staying here.

Perfect for us!

Everything was exactly as expected. Such a nice place with perfect sunset views. Even on a stormy day, we enjoyed watching a huge group of surfers catch some waves. We will be back!

Sunshine and Happiness

This is a nice location with plenty of things to do. The home is well furnished and is very comfortable. However, the water pressure in main bedroom bathroom is inadequate and the main bathroom bathtub doesn’t drain properly. Overall it was an amazing experience and we would rent again.

Great Family Vacation!

This was the perfect spot for our family vacation. The house was clean and right on the beach. We loved that beach chairs, umbrella, and sand toys were provided for our use since we flew and didn't bring our own. The only minor drawback was that we were required to wash and dry the beach towels before checking out. We felt they should be provided like the rest of the linens. Overall, we had a wonderful time and would recommend this rental!

Nice view & location.

Great view of the Gulf, perfect location. We normally stay at Lands End for a more secure and private experience. This was our backup choice. It will probably continue to be our backup choice. Gave more of a motel feel. Laundry not located in unit was a little different from what we are used to, but we made it work. Water pressure in Master bath was awful, a typical 15 min shower turned into about 40 min because of that. Second bathroom had poor drainage, standing water immediately when shower started. We would stay again, but probably not our first choice.

Very pleased!

We never had a guest parking permit for our visitors! A resident there seemed to watch for people without them & called a tow truck to come & tow the vehicles!! A bit over zealous!☹️Needs to stop. We did ask for a permit but never heard back.!

Great place!

Our condo was very nice and clean upon arrival. The views of the beach and ocean were spectacular. The beds and couch are super comfortable. I was worried about the water pressure in the showers since prior reviews said the water pressure was weak, but it absolutely was not during our stay! Only steps away from the beach. Just some helpful tips for future stayers: the coffee maker is a brew/pot and not a Keurig but there are plenty of coffee Filters so just bring your coffee grounds and some sugar! The keys to the elevator/stairs for night access are in the TV stand pull out drawer. There are beach chairs, pool noodles, beach toys, goggles, a beach umbrella, a small Styrofoam cooler, beach towels, and patio chairs in the unit so you do not have to worry about any of that. The kitchen is fully equipped with silverware, dishes, pots/pans, and other kitchen utensils. The microwave is in the pantry closet. There is a Publix nearby and restaurants within walking distance. The unit itself is quiet. Would stay here again!

Sunset Chateau 403 is indeed a treasure!

This spot is a stone's throw from the beach and the heated pool! The beach is always clean and never crowded. The sunsets need to be seen to be believed. The condo is clean and well equipped with everything needed to cook meals and also well located if one wishes to eat out. The rooms are spacious, well decorated and have very comfortable king-size beds! The bathrooms are also very clean and include many towels of all sizes. There are chairs included for the balcony (to privately view the sunset) and to bring to the beach. I will definitely go back!!!

Beautiful condo

The condo was beautiful and clean. We’ve come to the Subset Chateau for nearly 20 years. This condo ranks high. I’ve never seen a kitchen so we’ll equipped. Our one big disappointment was the lack of beach equipment. 2 of the 3 chairs were broken, as was the ragged umbrella. We bought and left an umbrella and noodles. Our love of Sunset chateau is directly related to its closeness to the beach. Comfortable beach gear is important. Also, this is minor but we weren’t able to use the bedroom televisions.

Great location!

Right on the beach! Clean unit. Had an issue with the front door lock twice, but it was resolved quickly. I think the a/c may need to be serviced as it made some noises but it did not affect the ability to cool the unit. As stated, it was a clean unit, however the ceiling fans and baseboards needed a good dusting. Bed was comfy. Great supply of kitchen stuff in unit. Couch was comfy too! Would stay here again! We enjoyed!

Awesome!

We loved our stay! Perfect location, and very clean. The couch is the only thing that should be updated- due to being white and stained. The entire condo is beautiful, fully equipped and extremely comfortable! Loved, loved, loved it here! Highly recommended!

They forgot to mention an infestation of red tide... of course, you could ALWAYS just jump in the pool... although there was no water in it. We were not permitted early entry... but WERE RUSHED to leave. Never again... VRBO

Beautiful condo

The beds were incredibly comfortable. It made it hard getting out of bed everyday. The place was very clean except for the sofa. They need to get a professional cleaner in there for that. Both showers and sinks were not properly draining. I did mention this and still nobody came. Make sure that you follow the instructions if you come back at 8:00 pm you have to have a key to unlock the elevator. I did not know this and got locked out.

Got the job done but won't be back

Overall we enjoyed the location and the view, we walked down to caddys for dinner one evening. The couch is in poor condition and the covers are dirty, it just needs total replacement overall as it feels like you sit down on plywood, no cushion. We ended up draping a blanket over it to feel comfortable sitting on it. The mattress in the room with attached bathroom also needs replacement as it is very sunken in and did not give us good rest. Had no issues with the building or parking. The pool was being worked on and was unavailable which was noted but the beach was calm and not crowded.

Great place

Beautiful condo and location can't be beat. We loved the view and being so close to the beach. Overall instructions were a little confusing though, and we got mixed signals from two separate things left for us in the condo.

Quick trip with friends

I came down from NY to be able to visit a life long friend and this place was perfect for it! I’ve stayed at several units within Sunset Chateau and this one did not disappoint. Gino the neighbor was always so polite and helpful if we had any questions on local options in terms of food, things to do and even gave us a heads up to a storm rolling in. There was a miscommunication with the management property during my stay where a contractor let themselves into the unit without my prior knowledge of their arrival. This obviously caused alarm as I was sitting on the beach watching someone enter the unit. The contractors were beyond apologetic and polite however I did express this concern to the property management immediately. The contractors had to return to complete the work on a separate day and the property management did give me a heads up the second time. Even with this minor incident, I would stay here again.
