Great place!

We rented this cabin for a family trip with my husband's family and this location was perfect! We saw a momma bear and her 3 cubs less than 12 hours after we arrived, which made our trip! Beautiful scenery and super clean.

Perfect cabin getaway for larger group!

This cabin was perfect for a long weekend for nine friends and myself! The living room was comfortable to hang out in and the kitchen was well enough stocked with supplies to make multiple meals. Unfortunately, the hot tub never got hot enough for us to use it, so that was the one downside. We would stay here again!

Family weekend trip

Great home very accommodating for our large family. The home was very clean and had great views. We also saw deer, birds, and a few bears every day of our stay. The host was also great and checked in with us in case we needed anything. Would definitely stay again.

Loved the location. In the Smokey Mountains, close to main strip and Pigeon Forge! Property manager was super friendly and attentive. We will definitely be going again.

Great Trip!

My family, friends and I came to stay for our AAU basketball tournament. The cabin was great everyone loved it. Would definitely recommend! Vicky was very nice and always available to communicate with.

Great vacation. Family had fun. Great home for 6 adults, 4 kids. Beautiful view for sunrise and sunset. Visit from the local bear on 3 occasions. Great location to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge.

Perfect for the family get together

Wow, heck of a drive to the house added to the excitement for the kids. Had a lot of family with us and having separate areas for everyone to be able to find their own space was nice. While the large open area on the main floor made it easy for everyone to be together too. There was a slight issue from the prior tenant; but, communication was absolutely superb with the owners, and they could not have been more helpful! Overall, a great value for the family. One nice item to note, the MIL has severe arthritis, and having everything needed on the main level (kitchen, dining, family room, and master with bath), with just a step or two up from the parking area made this idea for us. Highly recommend if anyone in your group finds themself is a similar situation.

Quiet cabin in a quiet neighborhood

There were 10 of us (5 adults, 2 teens and 3 kids) staying in this house, and we found enough room for everyone. The views were absolutely stunning, and the house was clean and comfortable. The owner and the management company were very responsive whenever we had any questions. The only major drawback was the basement bedroom: it does not have an HVAC return, so if you sleep with the door closed it gets warm in there. Also, the AC had a hard time keeping up with the humidity in the rest of the house, so it did feel kind of clammy at times (to be fair, we were there in August) Overall it was a lovely place to stay in a quiet neighborhod. We saw bears walking down the street several times, and enjoyed listening to the thunderstorms rolling through from the covered porch.

Lovely property but some things need improved

The property was lovely and overall we enjoyed our stay and the beautiful views but there are some things that could be improved. We had to buy toilet paper and trash bags on the 3rd day of our stay. Only 3 rolls of toilet paper and 3 trash bags were provided for 12 people for a 5 day stay. There was no propane to enjoy the firepit. Batteries were dead in the remotes and smoke detectors. We also only found one hand towel for the bathrooms. The property management team should think about or check these things before a new guest checks in, these all affect the overall guest experience.

we had a great time at smokey mt vista !! we had no water one day but we know it wasn’t anyones fault but mother nature ! and the owners were quick to call me and try and help . we went out for the day and when we got back it was back on ! so no biggie ! my only complaint was the inaccuracy of the photos . we thought we would have more kitchen space as in the photos there seems to be a stove and fridge in the basement level and there wasn’t ! also we thought the bunk beds had 3 as in the picture and the loft bedroom had two beds in the picture and in real life they didn’t ! but we still made it work ! Overall great place and we made some memorable memories! we highly recommend smokey mt vista!!! and can’t wait to someday comeback to tennessee again!

Great Views

The views and overall comfort were great for our 6 family members. As the other reviews stated, the drive to this home are steep and winding! Not for the faint of heart. All wheel drive is beneficial. As I stated, overall a nice place to stay. There are a few negatives: the upstairs bathroom vanity lights do not work, so putting makeup on was a challenge; the only lamp in the upstairs bedroom was not plugged in and of course the outlet was behind the headboard which was not connected to the bed frame (just propped against the wall); there was no where to put your suitcase in this room except on the floor; several fixtures (towel racks and such) were not up (were lying in the bathroom cabinet); could use touch up painting in some areas. As for some of the policies: If you charge a clean up fee, you should pick up the last bag of garbage and the dishwasher takes so long to run the cycle, so the renter would have to sit around for over 2 hours on check out day to get them put away. Overall, a nice place with a great view!

Bears ,bears and fun!

Check in was very easy and the people there were kind and helpful. Upon arriving at the property we were greeted with by some local wildlife… a mama bear and her cubs. This was a really cool experience. They initially kept their distance but as the week progressed they felt more comfortable and came on the deck quite often. The property had a few things that needed to be fixed but the property manager rectified them in a timely manner. Helpful hint… when checking in, ask for extra towels as there were not enough for us. Also some of the beds didn’t have sheets on them. This too was fixed quickly. The arcade game did not work. The owner of this property was great at responding to messages and even personally called while we where there to check in. Very very easy to work with! The house had minor things that needed fixed or just weren’t fixed before we got there. While it was clean, it looked like it needed a deep cleaning. The pool was not far away from the property. We enjoyed our time at this property!

The cabin and stay were perfect. Spacious rooms, awesome common areas for the family. The resort pools were also very nice once we located them! The men enjoyed the golf course! You climb up a mountain to get to the house, but the views and experience is 100% worth it!!
