Home away from home

We do come to Sterling Shores every year and never have had the same condo. We are never disappointed in any of the condos we have stayed. This condo was clean and was made easy to make ourselves at home. Our favorite part is the patio!

Loved our stay!

Our family loved the condo and Sterling Shores. The airplanes do fly directly over the grounds taking off which can be a little nosey, but other than that - it was a great stay overall. The staff was great and easily available whenever we needed anything. Clean grounds, great beach service, and nice pool area.

Needs repairs and update

The bedroom was good the sheets have struck to the point that are hard to get on. The furniture in the living room has no support the you sit with your knees higher then your rear. The plastic covers on the kitchen cabinets is held on with tape and it is still falling off. Needs repairs.

Location and grounds make up for the condo

Not enough furniture in condo when advertising sleeping 8. Had to buy coffee cups and oven mitts. Rusty vent in bathroom and mold on shower ceiling. Screen door on balcony not off tracks and filthy. My husbands said it best “we paid a premium rate for an economy condo.” However view is beautiful and beach access super easy. Only one elevator was working and we never saw anyone attempting to repair in 6 days. Overall nice complex just not this condo if you are looking to book here :)

Just as it seems

The condo was very nice. All the pictures looked exactly how the home looked in person. I read the reviews about the master being hard, it definitely is not hard. It reminds you of memory foam. I slept like a baby for almost a whole day. I have no complaints at all about the rooms, the living areas, the bathrooms, or anything. The view is amazing! They actually should add some pictures of that because that is really what was amazing to wake up to a view of the beautiful ocean. Not sure if the price was because of winter but we will be back for sure and hope to get the same unit 608! The check in was easy and emailed instructions were exact. Vacasa did an amazing job & booking was simple and straight forward.

It was okay!

Overall the place wasn’t terrible but I probably wouldn’t stay again. It’s a little too outdated for me and definitely for the price. Cabinet paint is bubbling up and falling off, vents were rusted, floors were extremely dirty and made your feet turn black freshly out of the shower.

He views are epic

Thought the place was nice. Needs a little TLC and some updating. Would of liked a full stocked kitchen (basic necessities) and better sleeping pillows. Overall not bad.

Perfect Location

This was the perfect condo for a family of 5. Enough space and privacy for everyone without feeling cramped or crowded. The close access to the beach (skip and a hop) and the nice pool was perfect for our group. The check in and check out process was very easy and effortless. Appreciated the keyless entry to the main gate and our condo.

We had a good time..kitchen was a little inadequate and the fees were a little much I had to constantly worry about losing one of the wrist bands because the replacement fee was $25 each (a nickel wrist band)

The location was awesome. Be prepared to rent a beach chair if you want to sit on the ocean. Everything was smooth and condo was as expected. My family had a great time.

Amazing

My family and I are supper happy we had a lot of fun. The beach was super close. Perfect weather. The only problem was that in one of the room the ac didn't work at night. Other then that everything else was perfect. Definitely coming back!

Vacation

So we enjoyed our stay but there was as a few things we were not happy about! We seen 3 roaches, one in kitchen, one in living room, one in the dryer. The washer smelled horrible! And we noticed there was sunflower seeds under the master bed so that means no one has cleaned under that bed because we didn’t have sunflower seeds… ants in the cabinets…

Memories to last a lifetime

Sterling shores has always been a family Favorite property that provides views, activities, amazing pool and beach front luxury. The size of this condo was perfect for our family and had lots of room to spread out or hideaway and rest. The views were spectacular from the master & patio! It has everything most families need for a nice relaxing vacation. Great communication from owners! The only feedback I would say is that the the entire condo could use a deep deep clean and good makeover. Lots of cabinets/drawers broken & barely working or hanging on hinges. Appliances were super old & lots of sand left on beds, chairs, & floors. Our love for this entire property and the value of the accommodations were a good reason to overlook these things. We will be back to stay at Sterling shores for sure, but not sure if we would book this condo again.

Our check-in process was GREAT! Since we arrived after office hours the staff communicated in detail how to access our unit. Upon arriving in the unit everything appeared organized and clean. Until we found dead roaches. We emailed management immediately and the first thing next morning we received a call. Pest Control came to inspect and spray the unit. Then OMG that's when we realized there was an infestation of roaches in our unit. They started crawling out of everywhere, including on the ceiling in the kitchen! Management was made aware both by peat Control and us. Unfortunately, there were no other units available for us to move into because they were completely booked and so were nearby hotels. I have to admit the staff was sympathetic and embarrassed by this. We were compensated for a portion of our stay for the inconvenience (definitely not enough was refunded), but we will do our due diligence next time and ask more questions, ask about their last deep cleaning, pest control service, and READ the reviews closer to our check-in dates. If you plan to stay in any condo unit, check to see if they're booked back-to-back for months. If so, they are not being thoroughly cleaned and inspected because there isn't enough time between morning check-outs and afternoon check-ins.

Condo 608

This condo needs updates. Dishwasher door needs replaced, refrigerator, washer ,dryer didn’t work properly. Master King size bed very hard and master bathroom no storage in shower, toilet paper holder broke, door was extremely hard to open and close to bedroom. Queen Bed too short fir average height person, no storage in queen bunk room. Living room couch sinks in middle and not enough seating area for 6. Balcony arm loose and furniture could be updated. Kitchen sparse stocked dishes, glasses, coffee cups, silverware, utensils and metal baking pans, dishwasher door difficult to shut. Pictures deceiving. Amenities great except mote trash at beach and pool than last year. View is wonderful!
