The location on the lake was beautiful, and the home offered plenty of spaceâvery comfortable for a large family.However, we were disappointed with the overall cleanliness and condition of the property. When we arrived, the garbage bins were already full and the smell near the front entrance was overwhelming. I contacted the property manager, who said theyâd be emptied the next morning, but they remained untouched for the duration of our stay.Inside, basic cleaning had clearly been overlooked. The dining tables had dried food on them that I had to scrub off, and there were no cleaning supplies provided, so I had to purchase some from the grocery store. The bathroom rugs were matted and visibly dirtyâI ended up washing them all on our first day. The garage, where the ping pong table is located, looked like a party had just endedâempty cans were scattered around and toys were left everywhere.Outside, the dock required over an hour of cleaning before we could use it. The decks and dock structures are in rough shape, with loose boards, exposed nails, and splinter hazards that would be especially concerning for families with small children.While we appreciated the space and the setting, the lack of upkeep and cleanliness made for a disappointing experience. Unfortunately, we wouldnât choose to stay here again.
