Detta hem är en perfekt familjesemester! Inuti kan du alla samlas runt husets stora bord och njuta av hemlagade måltider från hela köket. Nedervåningen finns det ett stort medierum och en sektion med plats för alla. Utanför kan du simma, eller bara sparka tillbaka och titta ut mot Lake Rescue. Det finns även en utomhus eldstad där du kan hålla dig varm när stjärnorna kommer ut över huvudet.

Vad finns i närheten:
Närliggande Lake Rescue är perfekt för bad, kajakpaddling och fiske. Fantastiskt för den ivrigare skidåkaren och snowboardåkaren. Okemo Mountain Resort ligger bara fem mil söderut. Och för vandring och vacker natur är Camp Plymouth State Park också bara en kort bilresa bort, så glöm inte dina kameror!

Lovely Ludlow VT getaway

We enjoyed our time Lake Rescue for our 7th summer in a row (at least the third time at this property). The house is spacious and the beds are comfy. I recommend checking out local restaurants' Facebook pages to make sure they are open 😅 Our Lake Rescue Retreat at The Woods was so relaxing and we would highly recommend.

Beautiful Lake Home

This home was beautifully situated on Rescue lake, the house was large enough for our family of 7. We enjoyed using the kayaks and canoe as well we brought our own tubes to float around. The lake was large enough for pontoon boats and some people were water skiing. It was a bit warm during the day while we were there, this was a little uncomfortable upstairs especially. The basement room stayed cool which was nice for playing games and watching tv. The beds were super comfortable the kitchen well stocked, check/out in was easy

Beautiful home, close to the slopes!

We stayed here over MLK weekend 2025 for a ski trip. We had 2 families of 4 and there was plenty of room for all 8 people. The house was super-clean and each person said their bed was comfortable. The owners even supplied firewood for us to burn. Okemo was a 5 minute drive which was ideal for us. I highly recommend staying here.

Great for a group

Came up for a wedding - but wish we had more time at the house. The morning view over the lake was restorative. The house is very well thought out and everything we could have needed was supplied.

Beautiful home

This home was absolutely beautiful inside and out!! The beds were comfortable. The bathrooms were clean and had soaps, towels, hair dryers. Anything you needed! Very accommodating!! We all loved it!

Very Nice

Stayed with friends at several places and this property I thought was by far the nicest. Very clean and we had plenty of room. We did have trouble getting in the door but we called and we were able to get inside.

Beautiful Ski and Lake House

House is in a great location between Killington and Okemo, and situated right on the lake for warmer weather. It was extremely clean, had plenty of room for all, and in is great condition. Beautiful wood fireplace for relaxing next to after a day on the mountain. Would love to visit again.

Beautiful Vacation Home.

Comfortable, Very clean. Bed was comfortable. Lake was beautiful, Kayaked, Watched and listened to the loons. Perfect distance to town for needs, not too far, not too close. One mile away from a locally owned and operated Sugar House with delicious creemees.

Very clean, well-furnished house close to Okemo

Best bedding in a rental we have had. House was extremely clean. We did have heat issues the entire weekend, but guest services worked with us to get that made right.

Anniversary getaway

House was beautiful, just as pictured, and beds were super comfy! My husband was able to fish out back but also found some other great spots to go to. My only complaint would be there is only 1 tv in the house and its in the basement-otherwise, stay was great! We plan on coming back for sure!

Perfection.

We had a great trip. This house is gorgeous, well stocked, great location. They thought of everything to make our trip easier. Unfortunately the lake was not usable due to recent floods, the dock was destroyed, and the town was all but shut down. Nevertheless we had an absolutely wonderful time and would love to return. Perfect place to relax and catch up.

Such a great stay

This house is so great, spacious kitchen, living room bed and bathrooms, extremely well maintained and located at an amazing place nearby the sea. All the "bear" decorations show that the interior design was done with a lot of attention to the detail. We would have liked to stay longer. Access to the lake with the kayaks was quite easy even if the dock suffered from the recent flooding. We were surprised to see that there was only one TV in this big house in a nicely decorated room in the basement. This increased our quality time as a family. Really well done and I can only recommend this house.

Week in Ludlow

The house is large enough to support two families (four adults, three kids under 12) without feeling cramped. It was well equipped, with everything needed to cook, eat, and clean. The quality of the house was very nice and appealing, with the deck/BBQ and big bath tub as major fan favorites. There was also a fooshball table (which we used) and lots of available board games and books there (which we didn't). The dock was apparently damaged in the recent flooding but we were still able to use the canoes just fine. It's a bit close to a main road, so you will hear people drive by quickly, but we weren't expecting "middle of nowhere" vibe. It's very close to Okemo, which had a lot of fun stuff for the summer, and it's reasonably close (45 minutes) to a variety of other towns (Rutland, Manchester), and state parks.

Would have been great, but……

Luckily there were only 4 of us staying. The dishwasher was broken the entire time. That wasn’t the worst part though. The communication and being asked to wait around for assistance and the fact that no one ever came to fix the dishwasher was the worst part. Just lucky that we were not a large party cuz that would have really sucked!
