This cabin has the ‘wow’ factor. The pictures are deceiving and the cabins is even nicer in person! My kids enjoyed having their own rooms and we enjoyed having our own space. We spent a few days at Grand Beach which was amazing! It was always nice to have an evening soak in the hot tub and we enjoyed eating our meals on the outdoor deck. We were also able to roast marshmallows one night, which was awesome (bring your own roasting stick). There are a few little grocery stores nearby but Selkirk was a great town to visit and pick up items for the week. Dylan was quick to answer questions before, during and after our stay! We had an amazing time and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet, peaceful escape!

Bachelorette weekend

We loved this cabin and the location. The place was clean and had everything we needed. The neighbours were also great and took us on their boat to the beach which was very nice. Overall, I would recommend this cabin to people I know.

Everything was just great at this place. More than delivered and we were all so comfortable. We had booked a stay at a fishing resort that was closed due to wildfires. There were not a lot of alternatives available on such short notice, so to find such an excellent substitute was wonderful. Our host, Dylan, was most accommodating and attentive. The hot tub was a bonus that was very appreciated!

Lake Winnipeg Ice Fishing

Great Location to get to multiple different access points on Lake Winnipeg. Dylan was a great communicator prior to and during our trip. Answered all questions very fast, even during our stay. Beautiful cabin. Hot tub is a great option after a long day of fishing. BBQ grill to make all your dinner needs. Would definitely recommend.

Great Getaway spot

Our family had a great stay at this spot. Very large central area for lounging and visiting. Kitchen is modern, well stocked and very spacious. Beds were comfy and hot tub was lovely. Very nice area with beautiful homes surrounding. Excellent communication as well.Thanks for the use of your spot!

Girls Weekend

Loved the accommodations, tons of room. Didn’t feel crowded at all for 5 woman. The property has everything one would need. The Host was excellent and very friendly, he was only a text away. Thank you for sharing your beautiful place with us

Fabulous view but hot and not clean

We arrived to a cottage with all the windows open on an unseasonably hot day for September. Other than community gate and door code there were no other instructions for the cottage itself. We could not locate the air conditioning remote. Texted Dylan but it was not where he thought it would be. Finally located it. Took about 36 hours to cool the place down to a tolerable temperature. Only the main living (open) area and master bedroom have a/c, hence the first day and a half being so hot, even with overnight cooler temps. Can’t imagine if it were a summer heatwave. Noted to Dylan that the cottage was in an extremely unkempt state. He indicated his cleaner usually received 10/10; other reviews support this. Bedding and linens, in unwashed piles on the floor
bathrooms and kitchen not tended to
 perhaps the cleaner missed the cleaning appointment? Mistakes happen. We got to work and did it ourselves. Extensive instructions were left for the hot tub which we enjoyed nightly. The view was so enjoyable as the Canadian geese stopped by daily on their journey to warmer climes.

hello for the most part we enjoyed our stay. there a couple of downsides.. the air conditions in building did not much at all the first night it was manageable we all sleep ok but 2nd night if was so hot in the cabin everyone was miseable in morning since we all had poor sleep since it was so hot... and second downside was the lake we brought the boat but did not know about the lake there are low water spots that we almost ran into bad situation because of it no information was giving about all that .

Spacious but Sparse

The space was large, so lots of room for everyone, but lacked any kind of decor- bare walls, no ambience, speakers weren’t connected, ice machine not working , no bedroom lamps, box springs were exposed, no table umbrella.. That said the outside had a lovely deck and the hot tub was great.

Great stay

The house was perfect for our family group. Large living room was just the thing for getting together, and loved sitting on the outside deck enjoying the view. Nice quiet area. We all enjoyed our stay.

Great space and dock!

The house was great for our group of family reunion. We had tons of space to spread out. We used the dock with our float toys and enjoyed the channels to the lagoon. Easy quick drive to Hillside Beach for sunset or beach day. We would definitely stay here again.

So relaxing!

We were 4 stressed out adults and a child coming to stay and left refreshed and relaxed! We wished we could have booked for at least a week stay. The home was clean, had all the cooking supplies needed, bbq, whirlpool and the calm and quiet we desperately needed. We throughly enjoyed the stay and Dylan was a great host. The kindest person I have ever communicated with. In my stressed out brain I didn’t book enough nights but Dylan was able to help us with our predicament and saved the day! Thanks again for everything!

Wonderful Relaxing Stay

Dylan was a great host, quick responses and check in was a breeze. Everything was clean and it was such a cozy stay on a cool weekend. The hot tub was lovely. Definitely recommend this cabin. I have no complaints! The host is fantastic and very considerate.

Wonderful retreat!

The Luxury Lakehouse did not disappoint! Very well appointed amenities -the kitchen was fabulous lots of cooking utensils everything you needed it was there and so much room!. Beds and pillows were comfy - lots of towels. Hot tub was well used and such a treat! Our host had given us all the information we needed before we arrived to make it a wonderful weekend getaway. We hope to make this an annual retreat!

Beautiful escape

The property along with the views were spectacular. Dylan, the property owner, was amazing throughout the entire process from the moment i booked online. He is very prompt when it comes to emailing you back with answers to your questions. The place was clean and tidy and very well stocked. I will definitely be recommending this vrbo to others and im sure we will be back in the future. 10/10, do recommend!

Very Good Property
