Lovely place to stay!

My partner and I stayed 2 nights as a little getaway and LOVED this property. The cleanliness exceeded our expectations and it was well stocked with necessities. The location is easy to get to and everything we wanted to do was only 5 minutes away. The host was quick to respond to any questions we had and check in was simple. We plan on coming back in the future!

Wonderful stay near Norway, Maine

Weekend Away

Nice cottage for the 2 of us. Not too big and not too small. Hot tub was nice. It was a little oddly shaped but felt nice at the end of the day. Overall, it was a very nice weekend.

Relaxing

Excellent

The location was perfect for us, having grown up in the area and needing a place convenient to So. Paris and Bridgton to unfortunately attend two funerals. There are limited places to stay and having a cute, comfortable cottage instead of a single room was perfect. The rain limited us on taking advantage of the trails and the outdoor exploration of the area. Thank you to the hosts for leaving us a Scottish welcome upon arrival.

Fantastic Stay at Ross Cottage

We had such a great time this past weekend! My husband and I went for our first anniversary and absolutely loved the place. The location was perfect and everything was within 5 or 10 minutes. We highly recommend the Oxford Plains Speedway, as that was a highlight to our trip. Such a thrill! Bring earplugs though! We also really enjoyed downtown and all of the little shops it had to offer. We highly recommend this place, it’s a great spot to unwind and reconnect with each other. Plus, who can beat that tub? So comfortable and relaxing😄 Thank you for hosting us!

Veteran event

Place was clean, perfect for a short stay. Just the dirt road and driveway was a little sketchy for a motorcycle and storing a truck and trailer in the driveway. Had to leave trailer and bike at fairground and drive over for bike everyday. Outside pics of parking woukd have been a plus. Area is beautiful and Hillside Cottages is quiet and peaceful.

Tranquil get away

This quiet, cozy cottage tucked away in the hillside was the perfect get away for my husband and I. The cottage was immaculate, bright and perfectly stocked with ammenities. Peter and Gail were the perfect hosts, readily available if needed. I would highly recommend staying at Hillside Cottages.

Wonderful stay

We stayed here for a wedding and it was perfect! Plenty of space and a great kitchen. We didn’t cook but it had everything you would need. Would definitely book this again, especially for the complimentary shots of scotch and the biscuits.

Cozy Get Away

Very clean, comfortable, well maintained cottage! The cottage is just off the road so there is some noise from there. Otherwise it feels so remote in the trees on the side of the mountain.There are only a few cabins in the area so you have plenty of privacy.

Short winter vacation

The property was perfect size and location for a romantic getaway. The owners were very nice and let us move the booking a day up so we could avoid a snow storm. Great time, would definitely recommend for anyone

Perfect Cozy Cabin

Booked as a last minute get away space for my partner and I because we wanted to go snow shoeing up in Maine. The location was perfect, with plenty of trails and other things to do near by! It snowed during our stay but the owners took time to plow and sand so there were no issues accessing or leaving the property. Overall the space was clean, comfortable, and exactly what we were looking for!

Great Stay !!

Enjoyed our stay. Very clean and comfortable accommodations. Location was perfect for us as we were there for a dogsledding trip nearby. Really appreciated the thoughtfulness of the owner, who brought balloons to the cabin for my wife on Valentine’s Day. This is a great place to stay if you are in the area.

Beautiful private cottage

We enjoyed our weekend stay in the Ross cottage, its very welcoming, so impressed how clean it is, everything is provided in kitchenette. The owner took care of salting and shoveling the steps since it was snowing during our stay. The Ross cottage is set back and very private, cozy fireplace stove, the hot tub was nice. Its peaceful and local to restaurants and nature. We went to 209 Maine St (fun). We look forward to another weekend get-a-way. We have a Jeep Wrangler and needed the 4WD on the hillside property. Thank you for a wonderful weekend :)

Great price, beautiful cottage & location

We can't wait to return to this place, so welcoming and beautiful outside. Inside is the perfect size and the jet tub was incredible, slept amazing after soaking in it before bed. Great binder with local attractions and mind blowing restaurants.
