Perfekt hus för familjesamlingar och vänsamlingar. Din familj och dina vänner kommer att kunna njuta av närheten till stranden och många av Galvestons främsta attraktioner. Det rymliga strandhuset ligger bara några minuters promenad till stranden och en kort bilresa till Schlitterbahn, Moody Gardens och Pleasure Pier.

Känn brisen på ett av fyra däck, inklusive ett av de bästa solnedgångsutsikterna på ön. Njut av havsutsikten medan du gör en god måltid i det fullt utrustade köket eller eldar upp grillen och tar dig tid att äta tillsammans inomhus eller ute på däck. Fortsätt roligt med brädspel, pussel, böcker eller filmer i familjerummet. Familjerum har Apple TV för din bekvämlighet (Hulu TV tillhandahålls och tillgång till inloggning till andra streamingappar, dvs. Netflix, Amazon Prime, YouTube TV, HBO GO, etc).

Badrummet har dubbelt handfat, dusch och en stor badkar i trädgården. Var och en har sina egna privata däck. De andra två sovrummen delar ett badrum med jack och jill och ett stort däck. Den ena har en queen size-säng och den andra har två dubbla våningssängar. För de små är det också ett paket och lek i huset. Alla sovrum bjuder mörkare nyanser, eftersom vi är ärliga, det är semester och vi vill alla sova lite senare.

En stor inhägnad gård och en större trädgård är perfekta för improviserade fotbollsspel, frisbee eller bara kasta bollen. Om du är ute efter en riktig utmaning finns det också ett ping pongbord för att testa dina färdigheter.

Har du barn? Det gör vi också. Leksaker, skoter, barnvänliga koppar, tallrikar, etc., det är allt där, till och med en barnstol.

We loved our time at Escape to Sunshine Daydream. Home was very clean with a nice view in a great neighborhood. Kitchen was well equipped which was important as we cooked all meals except one while there. We used the beach chairs and the canopy provided by owners which were nice. Overall a great stay!

Fantabulous Family Holiday

Our daughter & family joined my wife and I for just a wonderful several days of eating, laughing, telling stories, splashing in the waves and building sand castles. This home 2 blocks from the beach was just a terrific place to completely enjoy our family time together. Can’t put a value on it! Thank you!

Family Fun Perfection

The location was terrific, with a beautiful stretch of beach easily accessible nearby. And the quality of the home was top notch. It’s clear a lot of time and care has been put in to keeping things in great shape. But for our family, it was the kid friendly touches (toys, books, beach gear on hand, outdoor shower) that made this spot ideal. Alice was a great host, too, with frequent, helpful messages. We defiantly could see ourselves here again. I don’t want to leave such a glowing review, because I want this hidden gem all to ourselves!

Great family summer beach experience

Our family of four (ages 12 & 15) enjoyed every aspect of Flip Flops & Applesauce for a relaxing beach week. We enjoyed the great patio space, furniture, and swings on every level for quiet reading, conversation, and ocean breezes. House has a full arsenal of beach gear & wagon. We played ping pong, PacMan arcade, and lots of card & board games. Kitchen, laundry, bathrooms, & bedrooms all equipped to show up with swim trunks & beach gear. ~7 min straight walk to quiet beach. Responsive host with easy check-in. ~5 min drive to two good dining options in north Jamaica Beach. ~15 min drive to most places in Galveston: grocery, many more restaurants, other entertainment. Would book again

Wonderful family weekend getaway

My family (husband, mom, and 16 month old daughter) stayed here for a long weekend - we just got back and are already thinking about our next visit! The home had everything we needed for our 16 month old, and the location to the beach was perfect. We spent a lot of time with her on the main deck and I spent quite a bit of time on the upstairs deck, reading and relaxing. Mark and Alice were truly wonderful hosts and we will definitely be coming back!

Perfect Family Friendly Beach House

This home exceeded our expectations. We were amazed about how family and kid friendly the property was. From the unlimited amount of board games to the pac-man arcade to the baby high chair, this property is worth every penny. Loved the location to the beach. Anything and everything needed in the kitchen, clocks and radios in every room!!! We will definitely plan a trip back.

Fabulous!

This house was fantastic and so close to the beach! It was super clean and the neighborhood was perfect and quiet! The home was beautiful and we absolutely loved every second! Will definitely book again in the future! And the owners were great at responding to questions fast and very pleasant! 10/10 for sure!

Wonderful family vacation

Two families came together to celebrate Mimi's 60th birthday. The room set up was perfect for our group & it was the best place we've ever stayed for kids! There was a great selection of toys and helpful items for the beach, a ton of fun things to do at the house, the kitchen has a bunch of stuff in it to make cooking a breeze, and the hosts were great with all their tips and recommendations! We rented a golf cart from one of their recommended vendors and it was great! We had a wonderful time and will definitely be back!

Wonderful, fully stocked beach house

This was our second time staying at this house. I love that it is so fully stocked and the owners communicated with us a lot. The only reason for a lower star was the cleaning crew was still there after check-in time. But we love this house and will probably be back. It's great for 2 families to share.

60th birthday celebration

My brothers and I rented this great place for our moms 60th birthday. We had family from ages 4-60 and the place was great for everyone. Short walk to the beach and the cabin was stocked with everything you can think of !

So much fun!

We loved our stay. The house was perfect for two families with small kids (ages 3 and 6). There were so many great toys and books and games. The kids had a blast and so did the grown ups! We definitely hope to stay here again!

The Perfect Family Retreat

This was such a wonderful stay for our three families (3 couples and 4 kids) getting together. The open vast space and tall ceilings of the living room, kitchen and dining area was the scene of resting, relaxing, family dancing, eating, puzzle-doing, talking to each other while cooking and oh so much fun. The foosball table and table tennis were the highlight of the 6 year old and 76 year old’s time, especially during rainy nights, while others also enjoyed the kites and beach stuff available to use. The beds were cozy and for those particular about firmness of beds, I’d test them out and choose the one you most prefer. For our toddler, we moved one of the kiddo mattresses from the bunk beds to our room to create a little bed. There’s also an extra cot, so our family had so many options to make things work. The proximity to the beach was perfect as we got to enjoy short family walks to the ocean, while still being able to see the ocean from the window. The kitchen is perfect with all the plates/pots/pans/etc you would have in your own home. The deck attached to the living room/kitchen was spacious for eating, coffee-drinking, relaxing and blowing bubbles.:). There were also so many books and games available for young and old which also made it feel like home. Alice, the host, was very responsive and the attention to detail that she put into this VRBO shows her amazing hospitality and care. Every member of our family (from the 1 year old to 76 year old) loved this stay and we are grateful for a wonderful, spacious, thoughtful space that provided incredible memories!

Could not have been better!

The house is wonderfully appointed and great for families, even those with little ones. The layout is very comfortable for multiple families getting together. The kitchen is notably well-stocked with quality items to cook with. Fridge was clean and we used water and ice from the fridge without any issue. I've stayed at many vacation rentals in Galveston and this home offered the most comforts that I've experienced. It felt like I was staying at home. Would definitely come back!

For us, time in Galveston is the opportunity to be together and escape the everyday madness. Pirate's Beach is lovely neighborhood to let the kids go be kids ...the way it should be. Friends and family join us often, and we hope your stay will one of positive memories that leads to many more.

Our property is designed to be family friendly. Lots of gathering spaces, but still privacy to get away when you need to.
We have done our best to make it as turn key as possible for our visitors, Just bring your clothes, beach towels and food. Traveling is hard enough without worrying about what you forgot.
