This was a lovely, serene home that overlooks Spring Cove. There are no words for the magnificent beauty of the area, and it’s such a delight to continue that experience while being in the home and looking out the living room window or spending time on the deck. The beds and pillows are very comfortable, and the kitchen is well-stocked. I give this place 6 out of 5 stars.

Everything was as described. The suite was clean and well set up, and communication with the host was clear and concise. The suite is well located between the Wild Pacific Trail and downtown Ucluelet (coffee shops, restaurants, aquarium). We enjoyed our view of Spring Cove from the deck.

We absolutely loved our staff for our family of 5 - 3 teenagers. Loved the Scandinavian, minimal vibe (our house is the same). Great views of the the bay, quiet, and convenient to get to everything. Sabrina was awesome to deal with and so responsive. Will be back again for sure!!!

Perfect getaway

The property is in a lovely setting, quiet, well equipped, very comfortable and clean. We enjoyed three wonderful days with family. All the local attractions are in easy reach and the hosts provided very useful information about travel. We'd definitely stay again.

Our stay here was amazing. Very comfortable for our family of five. The place is modern, clean and cozy. The views from the back deck are beautiful - we even saw bald eagles. We wished we had stayed longer. Great location.

Beautiful little house

This is a gorgeous property with a lovely peaceful view. The house is beautifully designed. We enjoyed exploring the local area. A clothes airer/washing line would have been useful but we would stay again!

Beautiful cove!

The property is so picturesque, especially in the mornings! The deck is a great place for coffee in the morning. The kitchen is well stocked and the living area is spacious.

Great little spot , nice view , kitchen well equipped , presence of black ants everywhere in the house I wake up with 2 ants in my face. Little tv and cardboard walls .

We are truly sorry your stay wasn’t to your expectations. We are grateful you are bringing up the ants issue so we can quickly address it. Regarding the “cardboard” walls, I’m not too sure what you are referring to as our construction is fairly recent (2019) and follows the building code standards. All of our interior walls are 1/2” drywall, as you would find in any house in North America. Regards, Sabrina

Nice place, great location

We much enjoyed our stay at ‘Le Chalet waterfront retreat’. It’s a comfortable space with good facilities and well equipped. It’s a great location for doing hikes and beach visits in the Ucluelet and Tofino areas. Sabrina is a great host, and provided a hospitable environment.

We had a beautiful stay here. A sweet little cabin with beautiful views. We had some bear visitors on the street while we stayed. The bed was comfortable & the bedding soft & cozy. You cannot access the water you see in the picture though, so don’t think you can walk to or paddle in the water easily

Loved our stay here - the house was beautiful and so well equipped - everything you could need. Really appreciated lots of crockery so we were not constantly washing up, and things like dishwasher tablets were really great. The view was just beautiful and the photos don’t do it justice. Sabrina was super helpful and we had a great stay!

Great property - close to nature trails and beaches. Only a few minutes from down town. Kitchen is well stocked - buy what you need and leave the rest for the next guest!

Impeccable home in an idyllic setting

We loved everything about our stay at the cottage - the water views, the convenient layout, the secret trove of board games under the stairwell. The location of the cottage is right next to some excellent trails and wonderful beaches, both are less than a 5 minute walk away. All around, it was a perfect spot to call home for a family getaway and we can't wait to come back.
