Great stay!

Wonderful little place on the beach. Great hosts, beautiful sand, and fully equiped kitchen. Easy to get to town and grocery shop. The beach bars in town are fun too.

Amazing

We absolutely loved our stay at Casa Albright! Rod and Bard helped with setting up fishing that picks you up right on the beach…we were steps away from the beach to enjoy every sunrise and sunset. As well as fishing off the beach…catching several Roosters and other fish. Snorkeling just down the beach as well! Couldn’t ask for a better place to stay and get away. Robin

Great place for sure.

Close to town, yet private and relaxing. Fishing service a phone call away and they pick you up right out the back door just walk into the boat. Side by side atv on property, plenty of beach and water. Had the time of my life. Great hosts. Caught Marlin, rooster, dorado and saw orcas.-amazing!

Great little quiet gem

Rod and Barb were great hosts!! They provided us lots of information on places to go things to do. It was very quiet, beautiful, sunrises, just an all-around great place to relax and rejuvenate. Thank you again you two!

Amazing beach vacay

Our family had a fabulous time. The house was clean and comfortable and beach side. They had everything we needed and wanted. We were able to cook meals, play in the ocean, snorkel, fish and run into town easily. The directions were complete with pictures and easy to follow. Rod and Barb were very welcoming. Easy to recommend!

Direct Beach Location with wonderful covered patio facing the Sea

We look for combination of beach access and minimal(but some!) travel to town....delivered here with spacious attached apartment. The owners are delightful, the unit had EVERYTHING you need for a relaxing week, including all kinds of beach equipment, kayaks, etc. The light pollution is minimal and the star gazing was wonderful at night. We will recommend to friends and family.

Relaxation

This property is awesome!! Located right on the beach. The owners live upstairs, but we rarely saw them and never heard them. They were available whenever needed and gave recommendations on where to go and what to do. The apartment is very well stocked, comfortable and clean. We will go back!!

Beautiful beach house

Loved our stay at Rod, Barbs and Rangers. Amazing location right on the beach, very secluded yet just 10 mins drive to Los Barriles, and everything you could need. The condo was very spacious, and had everything we needed.really appreciated the cold beer on arrival! Rod and Barb live onsite with Ranger however we rarely saw them, although they were super responsive. They very helpfully put up signs on the day of our arrival so we were able to easily navigate to the house. We will be back!

Two Weeks in March on the Sea of Cortez

My adult son and I enjoyed staying seaside with swimming and kayaking available at our door when the sea was calm. We liked Los Barriles, a small town a short drive away with a good selection of restaurants. Overall, this is a very quiet and tranquil location. For clubs and entertainment you will need to travel an hour south to Cabo San Lucas. Our hosts were very helpful when requested and have decades of experience in the area.

Beachfront Paradise

This was an awesome place to spend 10 days. Everything was as described and more. We rented a Yamaha RMAX for the entire time and really enjoyed exploring the many trails in the area. The whales were fun to watch and the incredible “flying fish”. Rod and Barb were very helpful and communication with them was the best I have ever had. I would very much recommend this beachfront casa.

The perfect house on the beach

We had a wonderful week at Casa Albright. The house was just as described. It is very private and quiet right on a beautiful beach. Rod was super helpful. He is a veteran of living in the Baja and knows all the best places to snorkel, eat, and fish. The water pressure is amazing. Even better than ours here in the States and his water is safe to drink. That saves a huge amount on water and plastic. The beds were comfy. All in all it was an amazing experience and we would definitely stay there again. Rent his side by side. It is worth it to be able to run up and down the beach. Thanks Rob and Barb!

Paradise steps from the Sea of Cortez

Rod went out of his way to ensure we found the property. Even put up signs to the house to lead the way. The view and access to the beach is exactly what we wanted. Steps out the front door right into the sea. The home was completely stocked with everything we needed and a lot of information on things to do in the area. Ranger the dog made it extra special. We will be back! Thank you Rod and Barb!!

Great spot on Baja's gorgeous East Cape

Finding an actual beachfront casita on Baja's East Cape is not easy. Finding an affordable one with all the amenities this one offers is a treat. The hosts are warm and knowledgeable. You are literally steps from water. Swimming is safe here. Snorkeling is a 15 minute walk down the never ending beach. The kitchen is fully equipped with a large fridge. Pretty much all the provisions you will need are 15 minutes away in Los Barrilles. Barb and Rod can rent you a car if needed. The queen beds are comfy and there's a great shower. Highly recommended!

Quiet beach

We had the most relaxing vacation. The house is exactly as described, very clean and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook all our meals for the week. We had the beautiful beach to ourselves most of the time and enjoyed long walks. Rod and Barb are so nice, the directions to the house where great, Barb also gave us information about getting groceries in Cabo. You really don’t know they are there unless you go up by there house. We really enjoyed sitting and talking with them on several occasions. We ended up renting their ATV for the week and had a lot of fun. My husband took it fishing every morning then we explored other beaches in the afternoons. The house is very short drive from town so easy to run into store, bakery or farmers market. This truly was one of our best most relaxing vacations, we will definitely be back.

What a hidden gem

This is such a charming and out-of-the-way property with stunning views, gorgeous sunrises and warm tranquil seas. If you are looking for a quiet vacation that is tucked away, but accessible to everything you could possibly ever need, click the 'book now' button. Rod and Barb and the boss of the estate, Ranger, are on-site and eager to help make your vacation even more enjoyable. Talk with Rod about renting their UTV. (The Go Buggy) Buzzing to and from Los Barrielles along the beach with the sea breezes blowing through your hair is simply dreamy. We will definitely be coming to visit Rod and Barb again. The ONLY thing we would do different is exchange our currency either at our home bank or a local bank here. Dont be a bonehead like me and do it at the airport. Thanks Rod and Barb. And Ranger.

Disappointed

OK, I see that we are the only ones who where disappointed in this rental. Well, here's why. First, we rented this casita for 14 nights, but ended up only staying one night, and that was reluctantly, due to the fact it was late and we didn't know where else to stay. The smell of mold and mildew inside this little house was overwhelming the minute we stepped in the door. The owner had all the windows open and three dehumidifiers in the room when we arrived, so obviously he knew there was a problem, but wouldn't admit to it. We notified him within 30 minutes of our arrival that we wouldn't be staying. When we got into the bed that night, the sheets were wet! A couple of other things to note. The stove was greasy and the furniture was old and smelled like mold and mildew. In our attempt to air out the house, we found that one of the ceiling fans was wobbling so bad it was useless. We just couldn't spend two weeks in this casita, so ended up going somewhere else and having to leave a few days early. We have come to Mexico many times over the last 25 years, and usually stayed in larger places because our kids were with us with friends. But this time, we were alone, and so we just wanted a small casita on the beach. Very disappointing. First bad VRBO experience. Another note, the owners are nice people, who gave us the use of two of their ATV's for a couple of days, so as to recoup some of our value. So we gave it two stars for this reason.

Beautiful Baja Beachfront

This property was perfect for us. The accommodations exceeded all our needs and we were just steps away from the magic of the Sea of Cortez. The location was just a short trek in the quad to Los Barriles where we enjoyed open markets, great taquerias and beach bars, yet far enough away to truly absorb the tranquility of paradise. Have you ever enjoyed listening to the splashing of jumping rays while having your morning coffee on the beach? Thank you Rod and Barb for answering all our questions before the trip and for helping us while we were there with the airport shuttle, quad rental and covid test for the return flight. We will most definitely be back and we can't recommend this place enough!
