We had a great time. The property is very nice on the inside and a bit rustic on the outside. We did the usual area attractions and had two nights to shoot the Milky Way which came out perfect.

Wonderful Stay

We weren't here for long but we needed to get out of the city for the sake of our dog and our sanity on July 4th due to fireworks. Everything about the guest house is fantastic. The beds are comfy, there was just about any amenity you need including spices, detergent, shampoo, etc. At night the stars were unreal--so many, plus you can see the Milk Way. Every morning we saw deer, including one tiny fawn. We had the best time.

Beautiful cabin

This cabin is a dream and we plan to return. The cabin itself was very roomy and cozy, but the location was also fantastic. Very quiet and great views. The owners were very accommodating and took the time to alert us of a temporary road closure during our stay.

Peaceful Getaway

Our family, including pets, had the best time staying at the Lazy S Ranch. We had everything we needed at the house, and our hosts were extremely responsive. The view was incredible.

Beautiful Escape

What a perfect getaway. We picked this property for a peaceful getaway to enjoy the meteor shower and it did not disappoint. The house was immaculate and cozy. We enjoyed curling up by the fireplace when we were not stargazing. Our dogs felt comfortable and enjoyed the space too. Bob was a fantastic host and we will definately be back!

A quiet, relaxing stay

My family stayed at the cabin a few weeks ago and had a wonderful time. We didn't have any plans but to sit back and relax, and to get out of the city for a few days. The host was very welcoming and the cabin was clean and inviting. We will be coming back for sure.

Very relaxing

We had a wonderful week in this house and it was in a great location. We hiked the state land right out the back of the house and it was so quiet and peaceful. It was also really close to town. The house had everything we needed and we had a great time. We would definitely stay here again.

We arrived to a bottle of wine, slices of pie and a charcuterie board! The trip continued to be wonderful from there. The house was so unique and special! We loved every minute of it. The accommodations were terrific, the ranch is spectacular, Bob was an amazing host, our dogs were comfortable, and we were able to see the most amazing stars at night! We would love to come back!!

What a beautiful place to stay. The host was so accommodating and generous. My husband, our dog and I created lifetime memories and I couldn’t be more grateful. Trail riding in the Wet Mountain Valley

We brought our two mules to enjoy the spectacular trails in the Wet Mountain Valley. We were more concerned about the accommodations for our animals than those for ourselves. No reason for concern though! Bob described both options well and made sure our animals had multiple suitable options. Everything was perfect—the guest house, the barn, the public trails, and even riding off the property on our “rest” day. Bob was a helpful and informative host. We will be back for sure.

Wonderful House

The house is as advertised. It was quiet with sounds of birds and wind through the Ponderosa Pines.The 180° view was beautiful and ever changing with storm clouds and rainbows. The house is comfortable and well supplied. You won't find a more responsive, friendly and agreeable host than Bob. We loved our stay at this lovely place.

Great cabin

We had a relaxing time. The owner, Bob even took time out of his day to tell us some off the map trail riding. Would definitely stay here again.
