Love this location

This is the second time I’ve stayed here and the location is perfect. I find its close to most of the attractions. Inside the unit is very quiet. The host was available for any questions that we might have had in a timely manner. I would love to come back again!

Excellent apartment

Lovely apartment. Close to transportation, shopping, plenty of cafes. About 1/2 mile walk to notre dame and louvre. Would very much recommend. A few glitchy things, the code to enter didnt work on arrival. We were able to reach Loic and gained entry after contacting another resident. The elevator stopped working. But wasfunctioning again after 1 day. It is 6 floors up. Very warm at night, no AC. Just an FYI. windows do open to a nice breeze.

Highly Recommended

We spent 5 days in this apartment and it was everything we would have wanted. Superb location at Les Halles some 100 steps from three Metro stations, with great shopping and numerous restaurants and walkable distances to the Louvre and many other sites. The apartment itself is well catered for clean. The Owner is personable, simpatico and easy to communicate with. We might well be back!

Perfect view

Everything was just as shown. Elevator was a great benefit after traipsing all day on cobblestone streets. Kitchen had everything you’d need to cook. Bed was comfortable. View was simply awesome. Host was attentive and let us in early.

The apartment was amazing,.If there was an option to give 4.5 stars, I would have done so. Such a lovely space, The view and location were wonderful!! Cafes, groceries, etc. just outside. It was large and beautifully decorated. The beds, including the pull-out sofa, were comfortable. There were 2 bathrooms (one in the master bedroom with a shower and sink and another in the hallway with a toilet and sink). The reduced rating is mainly because of the elevator. Upon arrival, it was out of order. We immediately called the host, who apoliogized He said it was old and sometimes breaks down. He said it is typically repared with a couple of hours and, on our request, he called maintenance.We had to carry our bags up 6 fligts of stairs and were exhausted by the time we reached the apartment. Having an elevator was one of the main reasons we chose this location for our stay. It took a day and a half for it to be fixed and broke briefly again later in our stay. We ultimately had to walk up the stairs more than 4 times and even when it worked, I was concerned we might become stuck in it (which never happened). Other issues: The air conditioner is a portable window unit and does not cover the entire space. Fortunately, it was cool weather and there was great of cross ventilation. The bathroom had only one roll of toilet paper (no extra) for a 3 people on a 5 night stay. We had to buy some. It also had no towel rack or hook for hanging a hand towel.

Perfect location

This rental couldn’t be in a more perfect location with the station right across the way, making use of public transportation a breeze. There’s even a small market in Les Halles so you can pick up some staples for your kitchen. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance too. Couldn’t be happier with the location as it was perfect.

Excellent location and view

We would definitely stay here again. The location couldn’t be better for transport, centrality, and easy walk to anything you need. And being on the sixth floor, it’s quiet and peaceful while offering a great view of the city.

Convenient and comfortable

The property is roomy, very comfortable and in the perfect location to see the historic area of Paris. Our only issue was the broken elevator since the apartment is on the sixth floor. The owners were very responsive and it finally got fixed by our third day of a five day stay.

Excellent location and apartment

We really enjoyed our stay in Loic’s apartment and would definitely stay there again. Everything is there that you might need, the bed is comfortable and it was very quiet. There was lots of storage space for longer stays.

Fantastic location

Can’t get a better location than this - fantastic for access all over the city and tons of places for wandering just in the neighborhood. We were still finding new treasures every day even after a week’s stay. Clean and well stocked with necessities and comfortable pull out sofa.

Fabulous Paris Apartment

We have stayed in Paris three times, and this was our favorite apartment. Our host Loic met us for an early check-in, gave us useful advice about the neighborhood, and helped us with a problem of our own making. Lovely home base for a terrific week in Paris. Thank you, Loic!

Our host Logic did a superb job handling our reservation even tho I had to make a few changes in the dates, etc. He came in when we got there and explained the different appliances and wi fi. Couldn’t have done more to make this trip better

Paris rendezvous

This is a perfect place to stay to explore Paris! Loic, the host, was very friendly and accommodating. The apartment is nicely furnished; secure, private, and very peaceful. The 6th floor views, (top floor with elevator), are fantastic. Sunset views of the Eiffel Tower from the second level up, 16th century Saint-Eustache church, and a pedestrian only street below. Located in the first arrondissement, walking distance to Notre Dame, Louvre, Seine, Tuileries, Pompidou, numerous restaurants, and across the street from Les Halles underground shopping center and the number one transit center, also located underground and very convenient. We had a wonderful stay.

Great Apartment in Center of Paris

This apartment is in a wonderful location directly adjacent to Forum des Halles and the metro stop and shopping. It has an amazing view above the glass roof of Forum des Halles to see a beautiful basilica and the Eiffel Tower all lit up at night and Paris rooftops by day. The apartment is clean and lovely with all the amenities for a perfect stay. With the windows closed - you cannot hear any noise below - or open the windows in the day - and you hear exciting Paris below you. Loic was great to work with and made our stay so lovely. Thank you we will be back!

The Perfect Location

From booking to checking in, everything went so smoothly. Caroline and Loic were wonderful to work with. They even left us some Champaign and a treat because they knew it was our honeymoon ! The apartment is clean and serviceable. A full kitchen with laundry was very helpful for a longer stay. Fabulous location! Easy to get anywhere from here by walking or transit. The metro is literally across the street. We felt like all we needed were some paints and an easel and had the perfect Paris apartment!

Top Position with Lift !

Can’t think of a better position for Paris, next to Les Halles, cafés, shops & museums everywhere you turn, plus steps away from a main metro. This is a pleasant, light-filled apartment on 6th floor with lift; you have a great view of St Eustache, with the Eiffel Tower shimmering in the distance. Friendly host, Loic, met us (even though we were about an hour late) & showed us around. All supplies available, tea, coffee, etc. Overhead shower arrangement in narrow bath tub is not the best but other positives compensate. No washing machine but there’s a drying rack for hand-washing, which was helpful

Wonderful apartment

Everything is great about this property. First, it's located right on the plaza of the Les Halles Forum which provides easy access to the Metro and suburban rail lines including the RER B to and from CDG. There's a supermarket and the area is full of small shops and restaurants. The Pompidou, Notre Dame, Louvre and Left Bank are all within walking distance. The apartment itself is clean, spacious and very well-equipped with a beautiful view of the Eifel Tower. While we didn't get to meet Loic personally, the check in/out process was very simple and he checked in during our stay to see how we were faring. I really can't recommend this property enough and wil be sure to book it for any future trips to Paris.

VRBO property not safe

Very poor to no lighting in the building. My spouse fell going down the stairs dislocating and fracturing her ankle. Our vacation was completely ruined. We left Paris with a cast and medical bills. Owner refused to reimburse. This is NOT a two bedroom. It is one room with a pull out couch. Dirty laundry left in the basket, food left in the refrigerator. If this is your first time in Paris I recommend you stay in a hotel with a concierge. It was unfortunate, Paris is a beautiful city. Don’t let this place ruin your vacation. The building is not physically safe. When we left the lights were still not replaced.

Warm host. Central location. Apt bigger than expected.

We are a couple with a baby and a toddler. Our AirBnB host never replied so we ended up looking for a place last minute. First time using Home Away and Caroline was the perfect host. She replied promptly and in detail to all our questions via messaging. We met her in the apartment whereby she gave us the keys, instructions and recommendations. Professional. The apartment is much bigger and more beautiful than the photos. High ceilings and big windows. The location is very downtown but the apartment itself is amazingly quiet. Ultra convenient. A 24 hour super market around the corner. Metro literally downstairs. Notre Dame 15 min walk away. Couldn't ask for more. A bonus was we asked for bigger towels for our kids and she brought them the next day. We highly recommend Caroline and her place. We wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

Amazing view/ Excellent location

This was an amazing apartment for my daughter and I during our first visit to Paris. We LOVED everything about our stay here. Located in a safe neighborhood directly across from the Forum des Halles (chatelet des halles stop) that is located in the Westfield shopping center. Easy access to both airports, all of Paris and outlying areas on RER and metro lines. Neighborhood is pedestrian zone and was very quiet with windows closed (though we love the sounds of the city). Lots of excellent restaurant and shopping choices just outside the apartment, grocery store within 2 min walk. Notre Dame 12 min walk, Saint Chappelle 10 min walk, The Louve 12 min walk and Center Pompidou 5 min walk (as well as many other beautiful sites and the Seine). The view of the Eiffel Tower was extraordinary especially at night when it twinkles each hour. Communication from Loic was super helpful and very precise making our check in process easy after a long day of travel. Apartment is as advertised, clean and well equipped with everything we needed. There is a lift in the building that was super helpful especially as our bags became very heavy with the lots of shopping we did. As others have mentioned windows open provide a nice cool cross breeze where a/c is not needed. So lovely to have the opportunity to stay in this apartment during our trip to Paris. Would highly recommend and we will stay here again upon our return to Paris.

Perfect Stay in the Heart of Paris

Our family of hour (2 adults, 2 teenaged daughters) spent 5 nights in this terrific aparment and highly recommend it. The location is absolutely superb. In the western part of the Marais literally steps to all amenties including groceries, restaurants and pubs. Short walking distance (12 mins or less) to Louvre, Pompidou, Tuilleries, Seine, Saint Chapelle, and many more. Across the street (literally) is the central train hub from which you can easily access any destination in Paris, including both airports. (But that doesn't mean it's noisy. The subway is well below ground level.) The apartment is very comfortable and stylishly furnished. It has all the applicances and conveniences. Toilet paper, shampoo and lovely soft bath towels were all provided. The kitchen has towels and all the necessary cleaning supplies. The beds and pillows were comfortable, including the sofa pull-out. Windows provide excellent cross-ventilation and all have both sheers and dark drapes. The living room faces west so you can watch the sunset and enjoy a perfect view of the Eiffel Tower (which was thrilling to see - day and night). The street below is pedestrian-only so there is little or no car noise. With windows closed in the living room, you can't hear any street sounds. The master bedroom window faces away from the street and is very quiet, with or without windows closed. The small elevator (typical for Paris) works quietly, quickly and reliably. Caroline and Loic are, simply, the perfect hosts. They are kind, caring, generous and responsive. The apartment was spotlessly clean when we arrived, with staples in the lardour and there was even a couple of cold beers waiting in the fridge. Their communication is outstanding and reply right away to any questions. We had a small hiccup using the door key which they immediately helped us with and maintained contact to ensure that all else was well. They provide an excellent instruction binder with clear, concise and easy to follow information about the apartment, how to find groceries, etc. The document they sent us on how to gain access to the building using the lockbox is the best I've ever seen. We really hope that we get a chance to stay here again one day and would wholeheartedly recommend it to others.
