'Palermo Luxury Apartment' är en elegant och panoramisk takvåning, nyligen renoverad, vars stora terrass har utsikt över hjärtat i Palermo historiska centrum och de mest populära turistmålen som, Parco d'Orleans, Palazzo dei Normanni, Cappella Palatina, Chiesa Madonna dei Rimedi, Porta Nuova, katedralen, Gesù-kyrkan, San Giovanni degli Eremiti, La Zisa, Ballarò-marknaden, som ligger i närheten, inom 500 meter.
Det ligger också nära de regionala myndigheternas kontor, universitetet för studier, de stora sjukhusen och ISMETT.

We spent a very happy 2 weeks in Palermo in October of 2020 and we can highly recommend the apartment . Access to the town is very easy and the local shops have everything you want to buy to cook local produce, including great fresh fish. Parking was not a problem provided you had just a little patience and we always found a place within 5 minutes walk. Fabrizio is a very good host and made a real effort to introduce Palermo to visitors as well as giving practical advice to us as visitors. He deserves the praise you have read in other reviews below.

A wonderful 6 weeks in Palermo

Fabrizio and Chiara's property was beautiful and even more impressive than depicted on the website. The check-in process was easy, as both Chiara and Fabrizio made time to meet me and made sure that I was comfortable in the home and ready to explore the city. The property had beautiful views from the balconies of the city, the water, and the mountains, as well as many of the famous Palermo buildings and sites. Fabrizio and Chiara were both very accessible throughout the stay and checked in regularly. They brought us a wonderful bottle of wine that we enjoyed on our last day in the city. The apartment itself is well-equipped and well-located, standing a few minutes walk from the Porto Nuovo and royal palace, with a short, direct, and well-populated walk into the city center through the gate. Overall, we were very happy with this stay and sad to leave.

a fine week in Palermo

apartment: piazza indipendenza n.10, Palermo, Italy. This is a wonderful apartment, which we enjoyed very much. Fabrizio was a gracious and helpful host, taking the time to explain the features of the property and the surrounding neighborhood, including tipping us off about the local services and the local buses which are stopping close to the apartment. As Fabrizio told us, we found everything we needed a short distance along via Pisano. Included were food, wine, pizza, a grocery market, pharmaceuticals (farmacia across the street), and other foods (including pastries) in the small shops. Along the stores of the side road (via Pisano), the shopowners I met in these stores were all so nice. you are right to tell your visitors that all they really need is there and just a short distance within 500 meters, even though at a first glance it might not look like that to those of us from far away. He recommended FREE historic center bus which travels around and through all the sites you’d want to visit in the old city of Palermo. We went around several times to get a feel for Palermo, and even use it to get to the Central Train & Bus station for day trips to Corleone, Cefalo and the West Coast. it really was wiser to use the buses and trains, and not rent a car. Of course, every day from the penthouse balcony we could watch the craziness below us - cars, buses, horse-drawn carriages, cycles, bicycles trying to rush along the very busy streets. Watching this traffic made New York City look like "child's play". Watching this the first day cured me of any thought of renting a car. And the public buses made it easy to get around, as you told us. My wife and I gave all categories a top (5-star) rating. regards, John and Marie of Palm Coast, Florida USA

Eine wunderschöne Attikawohnung im Herzen Palermos

Das Penthouse ist rundum mehr als man erwartet. Die Wohnung ist mit viel Gespür für dezente Farben und mit Liebe eingerichtet. Alles was wir brauchten war vorhanden. Die Gastfreundschaft von Fabrizio und Chiara war herzlich und hilfsbereit. Wir empfehlen das Penthouse allen, die Mitten in Palermo sein möchten und die Altstadt zu Fuss erleben wollen. Just have to stay

Wow the view of Royal Palace and city centre. One of the prettiest holidayhome and finest experiences... An oasis of la dolce vita in frenetic Palermo

The penthouse is very spacious and the huge private terrace offers a view in a million. The additional balcony to the back, off the living room also offers magnificent views. Watching the world rush by from the privacy of the huge terrace is food for the soul. And by the way, look down the west side of the piazza, to the green awning. See it? That's where you need to grab your Palermitan street food from. Testagrossa Ristorante. Bummer, eh? such a long walk for some knockout panelle! Oh, and whatever you do, make sure you grab some arancini from Sfrigolo, which lies just outside the Porta Nuova gate, about 50 metres from the north corner of the piazza. You will be told that every place in Sicily does 'the best arancini', but rest assured, Sfrigolo is a genuine contender. Fabrizio is a man of great honesty and integrity. He obviously works extremely hard in his day-time job in hospitality. And yet he invests every last bit of his energy in ensuring you are well informed and happy. Once you tune into the fact that Fabrizio is not a typical host - in that he is not motivated by lucre first and everything else second - you start to appreciate what a heartwarming privilege it is that he lets you into his confidence. As a parting gift, he gave us some honey from the village in which he was born and raised. I am not much of a honey lover (although I dearly love bees), but I tasted the crystal clear honey at home today, and Fabrizio, I have to say, you have converted me sir! I never knew honey could deliver a pleasant aftertaste minutes after you have sipped it. And as for the moka espresso maker, now you’ve gone and got me hooked, Fabrizio! We could say more, but it's all been said in other reviews. We just had to get it out there, what a good human being Fabrizio is.

Romantico, posizione super, vista pazzesca!

Vengo a Palermo spesso per lavoro e per pochi giorni, stavolta dovevo rimanere per più di tre giorni ed ho scelto un appartamento per avere maggiore libertà e privacy. Quest'attico, "panoramicissimo", si trova in pieno centro storico, ma all'esterno della ZTL si può facilmente raggiungere con auto , e posteggio gratuito in strada, oppure a pochi passi a piedi vi sono dei parcheggi privati a pagamento. Posizione: zona pedonale UNESCO ed itinerario arabo-normanno a 150 metri (Palazzo dei NOrmanni, cappella palatina, san giovanni degli eremiti); vicinissimo alla fermata PAlazzo reale-Orleans e all'assemblea regionale, 300 metri dall'università, l'ospedale dei bambini ISMEP 500 metri, Ismett e Policlinico 1km, location straordinaria sia per lavoro che per turismo. Rapporto qualità prezzo molto conveniente, avete anche la cucina a disposizione, quindi si ammortizzano i costi di pranzi e cene. Pulizia eccelente. Wi-fi velocissimo. I proprietari mi hanno fatto trovare anche il frigo pieno così per il primo giorno non ho dovuto fare la spesa. Consigliatissimo per coppie in "fuga romantica"! io ci tornerò di sicuro in compagnia ;-)

Wonderful experience!

We stayed at the penthouse for the entire month of October 2016. We could not have made a better choice. All the comforts of home. I must say that all the other positive reviws for this rental are accurate and say it all. Fabrizio is the perfect host, very helpful, knowledgable and very easy to reach for whatever reason during your stay. An excellent choice for either a short or long stay. On a scale of one to ten, this is an eleven. Wonderful experience!

Great apartment in a great location

We stayed here for four nights and it was a perfect choice for us. Fabrizio (the owner) met us and spent plenty of time showing us the apartment and advising us of local places to visit, restaurants, bars etc. The apartment is large - far larger than we expected - and has a fantastic, huge terrace overlooking Independence Square which is the city's main hub for local buses and taxis. To the rear you have a second smaller balcony with an uninterrupted view of the mountains that surround Palermo. Our bedroom was comfortable (and air conditioned) as was the large kitchen/living room. The kitchen was well equipped for a holiday let. Also the washing machine was a godsend after a week travelling round the island. We didn't use the second bedroom (with bunks) or the second bathroom. As a location it could hardly be better. It is just outside the old town, so it feels like it's part of 'real' Palermo. It is ten minutes walk form the cathedral and walking distance to the fantastic street markets in town. The catacombs are a 20 minute walk. Buses and taxis to Monreale (which is unmissable!) both leave from the square outside, and the cafe on the square was a delightful place for a beer and/or a granita after a hot day's exploring. Our only caution is that if you drive (as we did) there isn't dedicated parking. There is unrestricted street parking nearby, but you have to find a spot. When we found one (literally at the front of the apartment buildlng) we left our car there for the four days. If you do plan to drive, do a little research and ask Fabrizio to let you know where you can park. Would we come back? Yes, without a doubt. A great base for a week (or so) in Palermo.

BEL APT TRES BIEN SITUE/EQUIPE - UN HOTE PREVENANT

Nous avons passés avec ma compagne 5 jours très agréables dans cet appartement mi août. Nous exprimons d'abord ici nos remerciements à Fabrizio pour son accueil très chaleureux et toutes les précisions qu'il nous a délivré sur Palerme. L'appartement quant à lui est très bien situé près de la porte Nouova qui donne sur la via Vittorio Emanuele qui est l'axe principale qui coupe la vieille ville en deux du nord au sud (vers la mer) laquelle est coupée perpendiculairement par les via Roma et Maestenza d'Est en Ouest. Le parcours de ces 3 axes principaux permet de découvrir toutes les merveilles de la ville : elles sont nombreuses : palais, églises, jardins, Opéra ... Pour en revenir à l'appartement celui-ci est très bien équipé, très calme lorsque nous y étions, très clair avec une vue donnant sur la place de l'indépendance d'un côté et un jardin de l'autre. Il est équipé de la climatisation indispensable en cette saison et de deux salles de bains, de tout le nécessaire pour la cuisine et le linge ... Venant de France et d'un quartier de Paris très bien pourvu en commerce de bouche, amateurs de cuisine fine, nous avons par contre trouvé l'offre de mets fins à Palerme mais en Sicile en général très sommaire mais nous sommes venus ici pour un voyage culturel et de ce point de vue nous avons été enchantés. Huge, sunny Penthouse

We spent a few days in this wonderful penthouse apartment. Ewerything was clean! A great location in the center, opposite a beautiful, famous church, the name is "Madonna dei rimedi". The train station and the bus station is just a few hundred meters away, and a lot of monuments are within easy reach. The apartment is lovely, spacious, bright and modern. - air conditioning - 2 bathrooms - large equipped kitchen - living room - washing machine - wi-fi. One bedroom, children's room and one or two children. Huge balcony with beautiful views of the park and the other balcony, other famous sights. The host, Fabrizio were in all of our help and at any time. Surely we will return. Thank you for a fantastic holiday!

Charming penthouse apartment

Chiara and Fabrizio are very charming and helpful hosts. Their apartment is very comfortable with all the amenities and situated close to grocery stores, butchers, pastry shops everything you need for self catering. For sightseeing the historic area is only a ten minute walk away and the bus for Monreale is just across the park in front of the apartment. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend this apartment to anyone couples, families even seniors since there is a lift to the 5th floor.

Terrazza luminosa sull'orizzonte del Tirreno.

Nel cuore di Palermo, a due passi dal centro e dalle principali vie del capoluogo siciliano, abbiamo trascorso la nostra luna di miele in questo luminosissimo attico, dotato di ogni comfort e facilmente raggiungibile. Il panorama spettacolare che si gode dalla terrazza, poi, è una gioia per gli occhi e ti allarga il cuore: la vista si allarga dall'antistante Palazzo Reale-Cappella Palatina, fino al limitare dell'azzurro orizzonte del Tirreno, tra storia e mare, meraviglia. Chiara e Fabrizio, poi, sono due impeccabili padroni di casa, ospiti attenti e sempre disponibili. Vivamente consigliato, anche alle famiglie. Arrivederci a presto

Un excelente departamento en una bellísima ciudad

Palermo es una ciudad encantadora con una innumerable cantidad de sitios para conocer, recorrer y disfrutar. El departamento se encuentra ubicado estratégicamente, cercano a todos estos lugares, se puede ir a ellos caminando, pero lo suficientemente alejado. El departamento es amplio, luminoso, muy limpio y cómodo, nos sentimos en él como en nuestra propia casa. Las camas son muy cómodas y la cocina completa. Las vistas desde el balcón son hermosas. Fabrizio, nuestro host, es una persona maravillosa siempre bien predispuesto a ayudar y preocupado por satisfacer nuestras necesidades,siempre ha estado en contacto con nosotros durante nuestra estadia. En síntesis, podemos decir que al alquilar este departamento obtenemos la combinación perfecta entre un excelente host y un hermoso departamento.

ELEGANTE, PANORAMICO, MOLTO PULITO.

Appartamento superbo, elegante raffinato e molto pulito, cosa per me fondamentale, che non tutte le case vacanze offrono, vi sono tutti i confort possibili (anche la macchina del caffè espresso a capsule). Silenzioso, bensì sia in centro citta, luminoso grazie alle sue finestre e alla sua collocazione si vede una splendida e affascinante Palermo… cos'altro dire? Grazie per questo splendido soggiorno a presto!!

Semplicemente perfetto

Ottima posizione, appartamento confortevole e perfettamente arredato. Padroni di casa molto gentili e diponsibili a consigli. Molto comodo sia per single o coppie e anche ler famiglie.

Amazing an unforgettable honeymoon in Palermo

Me and my wife spent an amazing an unforgettable week in Palermo and Sicily.The apartment has really great location - very close to city center and old town as well as to the main highways, and you have guaranteed parking place as well. The apartment is spacious (for family with 2-3 children) and bright and with very good air conditioning. The views from both balconies are really magnificent. Also the hosts are very nice and hospitable, plus they bring you some necessary things like water and milk on arrival and brings very nice gifts when you leave. :)I would suggest Palermo Luxury Apartment to everyone who wants to visit and stay at Palermo. "Amazing view! relax, privacy and gay friendly."

We chose to share with all of our experience in Palermo and we want to help these guys because they are working hard to do their best. Me and my partner were looking for a house to spend a few days in Palermo, at the end of June. We chose this penthouse 'cause the scenic and green surrounding, fabulous!. We got a plus , the warm and friendly welcome from the host. We went to Palermo (we live in Milan) about bit of stress at work, and in this apartment we felt like at home. Fabrizio has helped us in an excellent way all our needs (some grocerys', detailed cleaning service before arrival, directions and tips). The apartment has been recently renovated, it can still improve, but overall it is beautiful! !! I recommend to everyone to experience the simplicity, spontaneity and discretion of a friendly house. PS: Palermo is very hot, we suggest to visit it at the end of summer, in Autumn, in order to enjoy your holiday.
