Kom och njut av en avkopplande reträtt på sjön Freeborn! Buttercup Hideaway sitter på en privat två hektar skogsmark med en vacker utsikt över sjön från huvudnivå däck, lägre nivå uteplats eller sjösidan runt eldstaden! Ta med din baddräkt och fiskestång för en bra tid! Ses snart!! Njut av kanot eller kajak, vi har även en ponton som är tillgänglig att hyra! Eldträ staplade vid eldstaden är din att njuta av. Det finns gott om off street parkering. Det finns också en 30amp behållare för anslutning av camper om det behövs.

This is our 5th year at the property, we love the large secluded location on the lake, and the large living space for our group. Very comfortable beds, all the comforts of home and equipment for cooking. We will definitely be back again! Communication is very fast and check in very easy.

Great Place for a Summer Getaway!

We came with extended family…grandparents down to middle school aged grandchildren. The cabin was clean and spacious. Everyone had their own space but we had lots of room for family games and meals. We loved the kayaks and it was easy to get our boat in the water and hooked up to the dock for tubing and skiing. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking big meals and the bathrooms were well stocked with towels. We had a great time celebrating the 4th of July as a family and the cabin was the perfect location!

We enjoy our time here! 4th time! We missed last year only due to our my husband being deployed. Thank you for sharing your cabin with us. We always enjoy our time here. Its quiet and peaceful.

Great for a short getaway!

6 adults and 2 dogs for 4 days, and it didn't feel crowded at all.We brought our pontoon for a weekend of fishing. Nice, sturdy dock to tie to! The lake was calm and quiet with lots of fish to be caught. The host is easy to get in touch with and very responsive. Those steps... Luckily for us, it was nice outside so we didn't have to fight the weather to go from upstairs to down and vice versa, because not everyone in my party felt comfortable using them. That's my only hangup, but we definitely plan to visit again!

Great location to the lakes we fish. Nice layout, the beds are great and enjoyed the large living area and bathrooms.

Lovely cabin and location

Really nice property with fun games, hammock, kayak, fire ring (wood provided!). Spiral stairs and sloped rock path were a bit treacherous. Could use some additional kitchen utensils, like chef knife and metal spatula. Pontoon mentioned an ad not available.

Great Retreat

This is our 4th stay for girls weekend getaway, great property has all the amenities and personal touches to make you feel at home. Great views out any window. Roomy for multille families or groups.We definitely will be back next year.

Wonderful Retreat

Buttercup Hideaway offered so many options to relax and recreate. The surrounding trees created privacy for the big yard area. The house had a wonderful view of the lake and was stocked with various supplies and had many thoughtful touches. We cook as a family and the kitchen had the tools we needed to make our meals. The Weber grill was in good working condition (we often find grills in rentals do not work well). We would recommend staying at Buttercup Hideaway!

Good Property

We all enjoyed our stay. The floor plan is open and the view is nice. We were impressed with the fire pit, the seating options and the yard games. The games downstairs were also a hit. The bedrooms were comfortable and we appreciated the black out curtains. It might be a place we would enjoy again.

Fishing frenzy

We had a great time catching lots of fish from the dock and out on our boat. Plenty of room inside for our rainy Monday. Landscaping around the house could use some clean up and weeding.

Summer Vacation

This property was amazing for our summer vacation. The house was well stocked, the bedrooms were large with comfortable beds, there were multiple gathering areas for socializing and playing games, and the air conditioning was wonderful for a hot week. Outside we loved the swimming area and were able to fish right off the dock. The bonfire area was very nice and hammocks and swings were relaxing. The hosts were very accommodating. They provided many supplies that other rentals do not, which was appreciated. A great stay, highly recommend!

Family vacation

Had a fabulous time! Weather was perfect, lake was lovely! Lots of fish caught off the dock. Even saw a loon family on the lake! Comfy beds, plenty of room. Stocked with almost anything you needed. Really relaxing! Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Family Vacation

All I can say is this cabin is amazing!!! We truly enjoyed our stay!! Loved the views from the cabin- I could have looked out the picture window all day!! Plenty of space for the adults and the children. There were 8 of us all together. We usually go to different cabins each year- but we all agreed on how much we loved this cabin and hope to be back next year!! Thanks for having us!!!

Relaxing Girls Getaway

Great secluded getaway. Exceptionally furnished home with lake access. Beautiful property with lots of locations to sit and enjoy the lake, read a book, play yard games, fish, picnic or play in the lake. Very clean and spacious for large family gatherings. This was our 4th year staying and will definitely be renting again.

Nice quiet stay

Great quiet place . Lots of fishing off the dock which the kids loved . Many foosball tournaments played . No mosquitoes. Many flies ! Comfortable beds . Many yard games already there . Lake is small for tubing but it works well enough for small kids . Peaceful place .

Amazing house

We had such a great time at your cabin! Our grandkids thought the spiral staircase was “fun” but tough to go down with a dog. We just walked around to get him inside. Everything was just as it looked online. Had plenty of dishes for our group so the dishwasher was a lifesaver. Grandkids caught fish off the dock so that was a big deal for them. We rented pontoon for a day and just floated in lake with grandkids jumping off pontoon and floating around. We would definitely love to come back again!! Thanks for a great family week!!

Perfect for our annual ladies weekend

Everything was as described in the listing. The owner was very quick to respond to all of our questions and was very helpful when we rented the pontoon. We would definitely book this property again!
