Brooks Lodge är en historisk, tre våningar, landmärke, alla årstider fritidshus beläget på norra sidan av Brooks Lake i Newaygo, Michigan. Beläget ungefär en timme norr om Grand Rapids, erbjuder Brooks Lodge semesterfirare en rymlig, tillmötesgående och avkopplande miljö som är tillgänglig i veckan eller för kortare vistelser. Brooks Lodge är det perfekta stället att varva ner, återansluta och förnya.

Under din vistelse, njut av 110 meter sandstrand, fiske hamnen och grunt wading område. Ta en lounge stol och gå till en av tre rymliga trädäck som erbjuder panoramautsikt över sjön. Eller hopp på en paddla båt eller kanot för en sjöutflykt. Njut av dina kvällar runt eldstaden med utsikt över sjön och titta på solnedgången.

Inuti är ett fullt möblerat 100+ år gammalt hem som har en sten spis, trägolv, fullt utrustade kök, spiraltrappor, keramiska kaklat hallar och bad och gott om bostadsutrymme för stora grupper, familjer och retreater. Rymmer ungefär 20-25 personer. Inga husdjur eller rökning, tack.

Fantastic Getaway

This group was made up of 7th-12th graders from our classical Christian school (and adults). Our school has a house system and has an ongoing competition, and this group of boys won! This house was selected for their retreat, and they thoroughly enjoyed the house and their time up north. The chaperones said the homeowners were easy to contact regarding access and if anything came up. Thank you for a great retreat! We would highly recommend this home for any large or small groups!!

Great accommodations

Was a great house to host our annual golf outing. Plenty of room and location was just what we were looking for. Fire pit was nice as the weather was a little cooler than usual.

Large family get together would highly recommend staying here

This house was wonderful for our large family to stay in. We rented for the weekend perfect get away for us all to get together in be on the water at a wonderful price. Plenty of space, wonderful bon fire hang out plenty of chairs, and great kitchen set up with all the amenities you eould need. A plus in our books! Thank you both so much.

Clean, beautiful, met all of our needs

We had a great stay for our annual training/retreat with staff here and their other house down the street. It was clean and met all of our needs. Staff especially enjoyed the firepit on the lake. Plenty of parking.

Bonding Time

This property is so amazing. Absolutely beautiful place to relax after a hard day of rehearsal, and it is a great opportunity to bond with other corps members outside of our sections. It offers us a chance to get to know each other beyond the playing field.

Family Christmas

Our family used this house for our Christmas gathering and it was great! It’s hard to find a place that sleeps over 20 and also has lots of bedrooms. We appreciated all the dishes and cooking utensils that were on hand. It was one of the best stocked houses for cooking that I’ve stayed in. It was also great that the owners were flexible with allowing a few family members to bring their dogs along. That was greatly appreciated! Thanks for sharing the house, it’s on our list for future stays.

Beautiful Lakeview

Excellent Property!

Such a great house and property. Our hosts were very helpful and take great care of everything. We had a blast with a large group of friends for the weekend. This house is gigantic and has plenty of space for relaxing.

Great place!

Overall an amazing experience. We had a very intimate wedding here. The host were very accommodating and gracious. Everyone had enough room. It was a hot weekend and it was definitely at night. Everything else was amazing!

Four day peaceful getaway

This was a lovely, vintage home with so many charming aspects. Plenty of room to spread out people and find little nooks to read and relax. Lots of deck space overlooking the quiet lake. Well-stocked with anything you can think of. Only bummer was I the kayak wasn't ready to use (no paddle situation). Location was great, and I loved the mature trees, fire pit, dock, etc. Lots to do for a big family in the summer, so will definitely be back.

Friends Christmas

We had a total if 17 people in our group. There was plenty if room and no one ever felt crowded. We had a wonderful timeand loved the vuews, even in the winter. We will definitely be back in the future!

Great place to stay for a whole lot of people

The best thing about this property is that it can sleep a whole slew of people. Nine bedrooms over three floors. A huge outdoor picnic table on one of the decks will seat probably 16 or so people easily. There are other eating places too, but none that can accommodate that many people all together. It's a great place for people to stay who don't really like each other. Three floors, each with its own kitchen area mean that nobody actually has to interact with the other people in the house if they don't want to. There's a lot of room to spread out and avoid each other if that's your goal. :) The beach is great for swimming or sunning. A big patio area with a firepit has room for a whole bunch of people to gather together as well. Lots of parking also makes it ideal for a large group gathering.

Varför värden valde detta boende

We were born and bred in West Michigan but after high school moved to Chicago and then onto various locations around the country. We always wanted a place to "come back home to" in Michigan. Brooks Lake was the natural choice since Ryan's family had owned a cottage on Brooks Lake since the 70s, and I grew up not far from the lake. We had always admired this amazing home and when it came up for sale, we made our move! Since 2005, Brooks Lodge has become our home away from home. We are grateful to be able to not only make our own memories here, but see other families and groups create lasting memories here, as well.
