Excellent location right on the square for exceptionally easy getting around. Super welcoming with snacks and drinks (including juice boxes, soda, coffee/ tea/ cider/ hot chocolate ) available- what a nice touch! Well stocked apartment in general- cooking supplies/ spices/ etc, games, booksThe urban noise mentioned in the listing is accurate but totally manageable with the provided fans and ear plugs. The off site parking in near-by garages was a little annoying (no longer free on Saturdays) but a reasonable trade off to be right on the square

Great communication, owner responsed quickly to questions and adjusted dates for us. Wouldve been 5 star across board but the area had some activity in evening and night hrs, people were skateboarding so we were not comfortable walking around at times. Quite a few homeless sleeping around the square and people trying to peddle items or panhandle for cash. Room was very clean and inviting I would stay again thank you

Knoxville trip

Loved the location. We came to see a concert at the Tennessee theater which was 1-1/2 blocks away. Lots of fun places to explore in the area. It was a little noisy at night ( house provided earplugs) it was mostly outside noise,construction,garbage trucks, and late night partiers in the street. Overall the apartment was well equipped and very comfortable.

Wow! What a fantastic place to stay! We were right in the middle of everything and could easily walk to the university. The apartment was so well kept and had everything we needed. It made traveling with teenagers easier than a hotel so that we could each have our space yet know they were with us and safe. If my daughter chooses UT, she’s already requested that we return to this apartment! (I have to thank you for including the earplugs. It does get noisy at night and they really helped.)

Pros at work. Squeaky clean, seamless check-in. Safe. Extra amenities everything has been thought out. A little bit noisy at times given the location but all was good.

Great Knoxville Location

My family of 4 stayed 2 nights at this location. I was a little hesitant with the parking garage situation, but it turned out to be very easy. It was a very short walk to the parking garage, and it was reasonably priced. We really enjoyed walking around downtown Knoxville, Market Square, Old City, etc. The restaurant options are great in Market Square! The basket of snacks and board games provided at the rental was a fun added bonus! We had a great time and highly recommend staying here! If you are a light sleeper, bring sound machines. The rental also provided ear plugs.

We recently stayed here for the second time, and it truly feels like our home away from home in Knoxville! The place was clean, with comfy beds that ensured we had a restful stay. The large windows offered great views of Market Square, For meals, I highly recommend Tommy Trent’s for a delicious lunch; their offerings never disappoint. We also love visiting the Preservation Pub for pizza and to soak in the vibrant atmosphere, featuring a variety of talented musicians from all over the country. I highly recommend the weekend Farmers Market on the square as well. We can't wait for our next visit.Many thanks to our thoughtful and accommodating host.

Great location

Centrally located to do everything downtown. Downtown was lit up and decorated very pretty for Christmas. Condo had all thr amenities needed that anybody would want. Parking was very easy. Garage within walking distance.

As an international flight attendant for 21 years, I know what makes a great place to stay, and this is it.

This lovely flat at 36 Market Square is perfectly located. All the things you want to do (world-class dining, fantastic shopping, great nightspots) are short walks from your door. Even UT sports are only a twenty minute walk. Historic Market Square is THE center of Knoxville and on of THE best locations to stay in downtown.
You won't even need your car during your stay.
Supremely well located next to hundreds of award-winning restaurants, lively bars, art galleries, history museums, and boutique shopping of all kinds, this is the perfect place to stay for those who wish to immerse themselves in downtown Knoxville history and culture. A fair good amount of the places in downtown Knoxville are locally owned and operated, so you can really get a feel for our southern hospitality.

There are several multi level garages close by. Market Square Garage, Langley Garage, Locust St Garage. They are free after7 on weekdays and weekends (providing there is not a special event going on downtown). Also I recommend looking up on the website
www.downtownknoxville.org and it gives live updates on the available parking downtown.

What is there to do on Market Square?
Shopping?
Earth to Old City has be a family run business for over 25 years in downtown Knoxville, Located in the middle of Market Square that will have any unique gifts you might need. Don't forget to check out their newest shop Alice in Appalachia,..Cocktail shopping!

Music?
Preservation Pub has live music every night or Scruffy City Hall for nightly entertainment
or check out a show at the Tennessee or Bijou Theater right down on Gay St.

What are your beds like?
All our beds are Queen size beds. We do have pull our sofa in some locations as well as futons in a couple of Living rooms. Please check with the individual units for further details.

How do we get into the unit?
Approximately three days before check-in a welcome guide will be sent to you giving you the code for the FOB box which will get you into both doors of the building. The entrance on Wall Ave has the elevator. The entrance on Market Stairs is stairs only.
You will also get a code to unit door at that time.
