Vi ligger på en privat ö med stora, vidsträckta vyer över Middle Pond. Det finns 10 hus på ön. Vi har en kanot och 2 kajaker på fastigheten. De hålls låsta. Vid användning accepterar vi INGEN ansvar. De används med allt ansvar för gästerna.
Vår fastighet har en vedeldad eldstad och även ett toppat glas, eldstad på däck.
Huset har nymålad.
Vi har en queen size-säng, en full storlek i ett annat rum och våningssängar med 2 fulla madrasser i det tredje. sängkläder ingår inte $ 100 extra avgift

The listing for this property requires several updates to accurately reflect it current state. It is in a beautiful area, the property itself requires some TLC. Deck boards are loose or broken, railings are loose, floors boards in the house are warped, only one working bathroom sink, fridge barely keeps things cold, grill only has two working burners. The canoe and kayaks have no life jackets

We spent so much time on the deck overlooking the beautiful lake and in it ! The hosts were very friendly and accommodating.

Do NOT Book

House is not as depicted. We realized immediately upon arrival it was not habitable. We left immediately and requested a refund. Hosts refuse to respond to us and VRBO agents for a requested refund. The agents reviewed the photographs provided and agreed a refund was warranted. The location was great. Such a shame the house was so neglected. Please review the photos and ask yourself if you want to sit on those chairs and enjoy the view, or cook on that grill, or get eaten alive by bugs because of the AC set up. The deck had broken planks, trash strewn about and bowed when you walked on it. Same for the stairs- splintered, broken and/or bowing. Stained beds, stained pillows, broken furniture… I could go on but I won’t.

Beautiful view

Fun location with a short walk from the small parking area to the house. May be a little challenging for people with mobility issues. Check in process was easy. Nice little picnic table set up to eat right at the waters edge. Water pressure in the kitchen and upstairs bathroom were very weak and there were no check out instructions but John and Barb responded in a timely manner. Would stay again.

Beautiful Views

The location of this property is just beautiful! The view from the front deck is wonderful! The home was clean and well stocked. We did bring out own linens and towels. You do have to cross a foot bridge from the parking area to the island and there are stone / block steps to get up to the house. He had a very nice stay and would definitely rent again. We did have to modify our stay and remove a night, which was not refunded to us.

Fall vacation

Home away from home! Great place on the lake. Property was fully stocked and owner very accommodating. Be prepared for stair walking with many decks. Renting a golf cart to get up to the house from the shared parking area is a must when you have luggage and groceries for a week’s stay. Well worth it for the views and fire pits on multiple decks. Would definitely stay here again!

Satisfied Family Stay

It was quiet and perfect for our family and well worth the short hike! If you have a disabilty please keep in mind it is not handicapp accessible. Also, note sheets are not included, but we were referred to a local store and the prices were resonable. We had an amazing stay and the property manager was responsive and a pleasure to work with.

Lovely lakeside retreat

This property was a perfect little lakeside spot for my friends and I to spend the weekend. The deck by the water is so relaxing and the house itself is comfortable and well equipped.

What. A. View.

We really enjoyed our stay; it was exactly what the doctor ordered. I loved that it was very close to a rails-to-trails path, which my son and I took advantage of. It was also very close to the Old Mill Pond Village Shops, which was a wonderful find for us. This was a hidden vacation area that we were unaware of, that was so close to home. Usually we'd have to travel great distances to get such a relaxing view, but for us, it was not very far. We loved it! And Barb is very communicative and was there for our every need.

Great weekend getaway

We had a great weekend. The lake was beautiful.We had a lot of fun kayaking and using the canoe. It was very quiet and peaceful. The kitchen had ecerything we needed and the house was a good size for the 6 of us.

Lovely warm hosts of a lakefront property

Barb and John are great hosts; very warm and responsive. The home has a stunning view of the lake. Depending on your style and needs be mindful there is no dishwasher, or laundry and you have to take your own sheets and towels. We did all that and had a good time. Lots of day trips in and around the area. Big Y for groceries was great.

Great house on the water

What a lovely home and lake. All the pictures are very accurate. The house was perfect, plenty of room, a well stocked kitchen and the beds were comfy. It's an amazing view from the top deck and the dock on the lake was perfect! It is a climb uphill to get to the house but well worth the effort and the feeling of being on an island is really cool!

It was nice and quiet stay. You do have a steep hill hil lto close climb so keep that in mind if you have older guests. Make sure to pack light!

We are a couple who met in college and have been married for 40 years. We love coming to the house and enjoy the beautiful, peaceful environment. We are planning to both be retired soon.

When we saw this unique private island, we were mesmerized by the expansive views, we knew we found a peaceful home. It is great for boating and fishing or just relaxing.

We love the private features of island living, compared to the congestion of being on a main road. The views are unbelievable....You can kayak or enjoy the canoe. We have a private dock and you can bring your boat or jet ski. It feels like you are in a cabin in the woods, but with lake views. Best of ALL worlds!
