Best getway ever. Very much what we needed away from the hustle and busle of everyday life. But still allowed me to check in and do what was needed for work. Nothing like that view to make you feel better about a workstaycation

We really enjoyed this place. The location was great and host was very nice. We loved seeing the elk in the evening at the visitors center. Will definitely have to book again in the summer and take advantage of being at the river. Thanks Clint!

The cabin was very clean, the host was friendly, and the kitchen had all necessary essentials. Loved the decor and the blankets on the beds were amazingly warm, beautiful as well as soft. We had an amazing night's sleep. The location was absolutely perfect to view the river and mountains as well as being just a few minutes from downtown! Highly recommend and we will definitely return in the future.

My sister and I booked this little cabin for a weekend getaway. We loved the location and the rustic feel. It was exactly what we wanted. It was close enough to everything, but it was out far enough that it still felt somewhat succluded.The host was very responsive and very kind. He allowed us to check in a little early since we arrived early and he was finished cleaning. We will definitely be returning.

Great place to get away and relax. You're a short walk to fish four different species of trout and other fish. Clint was easy to communicate and friendly. Definitely stay again.

Really enjoyed the cabin with my wife and two dogs. Great place if you’re traveling with pets. Amazing location and views. In order to be a 5 star would need to clean better (fan had dust build up on blades) and the cabin was musty. The addition of a humidifier and removing carpet and placing down vinyl planking would be great addition. Owner should remove sign and close path to river not safe for older generation and likely lead to litigation. Thanks

Thanks. i’m glad you enjoyed the Cabin. We are planning on pulling the carpett with new flooring and redoing the ceilings in the entire cabin. Also, the trail to the river is a walk at your own risk trail. It is not suitable for anyone with walking conditions however we do have a driveway that leads to the river. Just go down El Jawa campground road, park at the bottom and walk the river for anyone reading this Response. Thanks Clint

This cabin was perfect for us..Clean cabin.Very quiet. The host was very responsive and reached out immediately when I contacted him.He also contacted me immediately when we left something at cabin.Very pleased with stay.Will definitely be staying again if available.

Another great and relaxing trip with Appaloosa cottage #2! Cabin was clean and comfortable. We made tacos for dinner one night and a pork loin on another. Slept well and on our last night watched a thunderstorm pass through. Will be back in the fall! Thanks!

We have stayed at this cabin five times, and each visit has been wonderful. The cabin is always clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The location is perfect for relaxing and enjoying the surrounding area, and it truly feels like a home away from home. We continue to come back because of the consistent quality and great experience every time. We highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a peaceful and enjoyable getaway, and we look forward to returning again!

This is a very clean cabin convenient to downtown Cherokee. Being right on the river, the view is wonderful and there’s a nice path along the river for fishing. It’s a much better value than a hotel room!
