Very nice. Deer just walk right up to you!

Super nice.love the rivers calming sound. Never seen so mane deer in my life. They seem to be use to people just sit their as you walk or drrive by. Very well stocked with utensils.

BEAUTIFUL PROPERTY

This place was perfect! Off the beaten path and very secluded. I do hope they continue the repairs and upkeep. The view is amazing. Deer every night! Very quiet.

Amazing property

My husband and I absolutely fell in love with this place. The river is perfect and having the screened in porch was great! We saw so many deer! It was magical! We will definitely be visiting again!!

Wonderful Location!

It is a very quiet place, full of nature, very beautiful and the river in front of the cabin is a plus!!! the calm it gives is incredible!!! Unfortunately it is not the same with the cabin, I think it needs some repairs. But what needs to be acted on immediately is the mold around the cabin. All the access stairs are full of mold, you cannot grab them, the doors that lead to the back of the cabin, they also have mold, you can tell that they have not been cleaned for a long time and when you enter the cabin for the first time there is a musty smell too. I had to open the doors for a while and the smell for the next day it didn't feel so much anymore. I hope the owner repairs and updates the things that need to be fixed and changed, so that the cabin also becomes outstanding, since the place where the cabin is located already is.

Very short but pleasant

It’s unfortunate we couldn’t stay longer than a few hours! What a superb get away! Would love to go back and actually spend days and nights rather than just a few night hours. Completely recommend

Quiet relaxing weekend!

We loved our stay here! It was quiet and peaceful which is exactly what we were looking for. The only downside or warning I would give is for people that get carsick easily. The drive to the house past the gate is extremely curvy and hilly. But once you arrive at the house it makes it all worth it!! We will definitely be back.

Beautiful setting and relaxing vacation!!!

This cabin was wonderful! Absolutely beautiful setting, river right off the screen porch, could hear the sounds all the time. Fire pit to make a fire, so very relaxing ! Roads a little curvy getting to the cabin, but no problems. House was very nice. Had everything we needed. WiFi was great, no problems. Town of Ellijay had a very nice Ingles grocery store and many eating places to choose from. Would definitely book this rental again!!!

Beautiful river view

We stayed at the cabin for a birthday weekend. The cabin had everything we needed and was very cozy and comfy. The view to the river is breathtaking and the screened in porch is large and inviting. It was crazy cold outside so we were not able to enjoy the screened in porch, grill, or firepit but we loved the fire we made in the wood burning fireplace. Getting to the cabin was tough upon arrival but the host was available and helped us immediately. We want to come back in the summer or fall!

Time with dad/grandpa

We absolutely loved it! I am 57, my daughter 20 and dad 84. The location is so beautiful! And peaceful !!! We could not have been happier! It served its purpose. My 84 year old dad has not been himself since losing my mom last April. They were married almost 61 years. He smiled more, recited poetry again, he commented on the beauty several times a day. I saw joy in his eyes again. There are deer everywhere. The river is stunning and we had mallard ducks visiting us daily. The house is so quaint and cozy! The tv goes off line but if you unplug everything for 10 seconds and plug back in, go back to direct tv . It works fine. I am very experienced in driving winding, steep roads with many blind spots and hairpin turns so I do warn those that are fearful or have anxiety with this to take caution. There are no lights so at night you are pretty much in complete darkness on a very narrow road. My sister couldn’t make it. Also if you have anyone with a medical condition, it takes at least 15 to 20 minutes just to get out of the community from this location. This is just worth mentioning for anyone with issues to consider these Things. The cottage on the river is pretty perfect as far as we are concerned! Be sure to buy firewood because there wasn’t any when we arrived and we love to have a fire in fireplace or in fire pit.

Adequate for the price!

We had a nice stay at this property. I would not want to drive in for the first time after dark. Roads were good, but might be tricky after dark. Owner was accurate in all their descriptions of the property. Very dated, but quite comfortable & had adequate amenities. Very quiet & beautiful river!!

The cabin was clean and comfortable and the location was perfect for the purpose of this trip which was to relax and enjoy a quiet area. The beautiful views and sounds of the river was the perfect backdrop and the cabin was close enough to groceries and downtown Ellijay without losing the rustic appeal. We would love to book this again in the summer!

Wife 60th birthday weekend

Wonderful weekend at great cabin on river. Full length screen in deck over looking small Rapids with great sounds. Many deer, ducks, birds to watch. 2 bedrooms with new Mattress. Cozy Den good kitchen & baths. Will be back here.

Friends Fall Getaway

The property was older but cute. Great for families. The stairs, drop-off to the water and flexible screens could be a little nerve wracking with toddlers. Just had to keep an extra eye out. A wonderful and have already recommended to other friends and family.
